I've got the same futura 1000, but it doesn't sew zigzag. I think there is a problem with electronic board. But i have no idea how to disassamble it to check the capacitors. Can you pls help me to find out how to get access to the electronic board? Thanks in advance!
@@nakedcampers512 @Naked Campers Thanks for your comment! I can get access to the top electronic board (see 0:58). But i want to get access to the main board which contains all frontside control buttons (see 0:05).
Have you got the correct needle plate installed, with the wider horizontal slot for the needle to go through? I spent ages trying to work out why a Futura 1100 wouldn't do the zig-zag stitches, and this was the reason :) I had the straight stitch needle plate, with the narrow round hole installed and the machine was protecting me from my own dumbness. I know nothing about sewing and only started working on this machine 2 days ago. I hope this might be helpful!

Take lid off as video you can then get to boards have you touched the width button they need to be set
