one of those songs you never forget when it plays for the first time
You really cant. It's basically the theme of the entirety of Trails in the Sky. Makes sense since a vocal version is the opening of SC.
Wo'ah
Chapter 2 sucked, but I paused on that boss fight in the lighthouse to listen to Recapture and then again for this song when Agate fought Loewe in the woods. This series has such bangers.
Loewe is the only character that can one-hit my entire team and make me grin ear to ear.
I got hella mad with him various times but I admit that the rush I felt when I beat him was unmatched by any other boss fight.
Loewe and Cassius for me
@ Trails 3
Mr. C can too x )
*stares in Steel Maiden*
Loewe: *uses S-Craft*
*Every character in my party gets to critical health*
*HELL YEAH!!*
I love how they kept this for Loewe's scenes in SC. I can't picture him with any other song. Such an amazing, complex character.
Yes, the first and last time this plays... both are fights with him, the Arena fight in FC and the fight on top of the Central Axis Tower in SC.
well the first time is him vs agate but if we are talking about our encounters then yeah, the arena is the very first time we hear it.
saw this fight you mention yesterday, was epic as fuck.
I wouldn't say complex, but he has a depth of emotions and thoughts for such simple motivations.
I also love how campanella's who wants to be a mirainnaire in the 3rd hints that this song is played in the game, haha.
They did a good job building up Loewe in this game. He truly shines in SC, but I forgot his epic theme stems from the FC.
The man who brings his own stereo to battle
This divine lightning shall pierce the skies!
I like how this theme gets more "epic" and more emotionally impactful the more you go through SC, leading up to Loewe.
You know a good Sprite Fight cutscenes is going to go down when this plays outside of his fight
Her: "I can't believe he didn't cry during the titanic. Do men even have feelings?"
0:56:
Gets me every time
This is the most epic song of the first arc without a doubt, perhaps even the series as a whole. Admittedly, it's also a great song for workouts =P
I'm sorry but.. THIS DIVINE LIGHTNING SHALL PIERCE THE SKIES
You
Can
Do
It

You've done well, everyone. But now, one more challenge awaits you.
Wait, this isnt radiant plash!!!
I don't dance, few songs make me even move my foot to the beat, when I heard this song for the first time during Agate and Loewe's first clash, I found myself jamming to the beat. Still happens involuntarily every time I hear it. Weird.
I can't live without this OST, totally rocks. Loewe you'll always be remembered
The second I heard this song, I knew this series was going to have an incredibly important place in my heart. So many good things have happened to me because of this series and I've met some of the most incredible people, including my girlfriend, because of it. V
Meeting your girlfriend thanks to LoH ? You got me jealous there
haha share me your story, i would love to meet more people who love trails in the sky, this game is pure gold.
The first time I've listen to this I paused the game for 20 minutes and just listened to it on loop, then I downloaded it and added it to custom radios in other games (GTA, Fallout, etc)
@@soniablanche5672 Plays Fallout going around sniping enemies
*song plays*
gets urge to whip out a sword and lay into the enemy :)
Been playing this since 2010 as a kid.. my top of the top rpg ever.. and this song will always be in my heart
Kinda late to this but RIP Wataru Ishibashi :/
such a huge loss.....
@@GrimReaperKazuya the grim reaper mourning the dead is... Certainly ironic.
@@canasnewell3089 i normally don't, and im not grim reaper itself, rather "GrimReaperKazuya" is someone who harness the power of the Grim reaper ´-´
I think this was one of the last pieces of music he composed for Falcom.
Rest in peace, legend.
When silver will plays in the background during a boss fight.. you know it won't be easy
RIP people who played FC on nightmare on their first playthrough, they probably didn't get to listen to the whole song
I love this song so much, even after party wiping over 7 times.
I came here because I loved The Azure Arbitrator and Immense Inner Strength and wanted to find more.
I did not expect to hear This Divine Lightning Shall Pierce The Skies.
最高や…
I'm never going to forget how hard this boss was the beating he gave me was tremendous
"Don't give up , you can do this!"
One hitted all three of us by the Silver Thorn
This song and this moment with Loewe made me fall in love with the series
All the comments are talking about Loewe, but honestly? I kind of think of this as the theme of Trails in the Sky as a trilogy. This is THE theme when things go down, regardless of if Loewe is even present, as seen by when it plays against (SPOILERS) in 3rd, and there was even the version with Lyrics in SC's intro. I'm sure it was INTENDED as Loewe's theme, but it's since taken on a much broader meaning to me: When I think about this trilogy, I think Silver Will.
This is the theme that plays exclusively for Loewe. You must be talking about the super arrange version of Silver will.
Loewe = Silver Will
Arianrhod = Unfathomed Force
Terrorist C. = Blue Destination
Each stupidly powerful antagonist has their own themes
@@d3ly746 that's not entirely true, we remember these themes because of them, but they are not exclusive to them.
They are also used with Richard and Sigmund Orlando respectively.
@@stratfor140 Mainly because falcom jdk needed to save budget because all tracks that they produce are legendary
@@d3ly746 well, you won't hear me complain about it, both of them are awesome so, the more we hear them the better ^^.
You guys forgot The Strongest Man in Liberl, Cassius Bright XD
This song is toooo good! Perfect representation for a powerful warrior with a goal. One who won't stop at anything except a force stronger than his Silver Will.
I do know this song is used elsewhere, but I treat this as Loewe's theme
It only plays with lowee and Cassius i think
@@mcburn344 Richard boss fight also I think
It peaks with Cassius. Goddamn that fight is hard.
don't forget Captain Almathea
It is also used in the final boss battle of the FE fangame, The Last Promise, based on GBA Fire Emblem games.
hmmm... Feel the sting of the swordmaster's blade!! "Demonic Blade"
Who's S-Craft is "Demonic Blade"? Loewe?
@@fierytigergaming8112 Yup it's his S-Craft name during TiTS-FC
After 15 years of have played the original trilogy in japanese. I think it's time for me to finally catch up with the Sora no Kiseki saga.
Same here, before the localization of Hajimari.
Legendary
I'm just gonna say it.
This is the You Will Know Our Names of the Trails series.
Best Ever Fight OST super Like it all my Pulses Engaged!
Wish a remix of this played during the final chapter 1 boss of cs3
The most legendary Falcom song
.........aight time to pick this game back up
I don't know why, but this version hits harder than the Super Arrange Version, even though I like both.
Still the best version.
I prefer the slower tempo in 'Hamel' version. It makes the song very beautiful but sad as well.
Vrchat world had this music, love it.
That was a bloody fight alright. Guard EX, total status, Teara heals and 3 arts that do death blows, Impede and big AOE damage.
Even with a Triangle Formation I was still struggling do deal damage. Luckily he's not impossible and waiting on that 1 moment to catch him off guard was satisfying.
8/10 and a classic was born while weak if compared to other versions it still sounds good
진짜 이거 브금 미쳤지
도입부 개오짐.....
To think that at the end of SC, when pretty much everyone in your party could have a fair go at an enforcer on their own and not be completely outmatched, even when you become enforcer-level fighters yourself, Loewe is STILL going easy on you.
The dude's hate boner for the world was so strong he was stronger than McBurn, a literal fucking demon and was Arianrhod's equal, a chick who has lived his lifetime tenfold and was always a badass, and only got more badass with time.
Him admitting you pushed him in SC is more than likely a lie, all you did was 'slow him down' a little to Joshua's level, and even then he was kicking Joshua's ass until his will and worldview was shaken.
You VASTLY wanked Sky's cast there, only Joshua and Kevin are enforcer level solo at the point of landing on Liber Ark.
Estelle isnt enforcer level solo until /MAYBE/ cs4 if we highball her, and same for the rest, we straight up see this in CS3, if Agate, one of the strongest members of the sky cast, cant go toe to toe with Duvalie on his own 4 years later, theres no way anyone other than joshua and kevin could have in SC, MAYBE zin if we explicitly speak about Walter, since those two match well in that way.
He was never stronger than McBurn and Arianrhod was on a different galaxy compared to him. But I get the point you're trying to make.
@@PhotonSieve This. It seemed even in Zero when Renne spoke to Arios that she was implying Arios probably could have handled himself in that fight, and modern Arios probably isn't even peak Cassius.
@@PhotonSieve I know a bit more than I did a year ago, and while I still think Loewe's actual strength is debatable, (we never saw him in the games actually go all out, as he really was going easy on Estelle, Joshua and the rest of the party) and from what I know, which granted, isn't everything, we don't really have a solid idea of what his 'peak' is.
Going off what I remember we get confirmation that in the past he was McBurn's equal (though this was I'm assuming while McBurn was not able to remember his true self alongside him being lazy and not really training) and that he had the potential for Arianrhod to praise his skill, all I know is that he dueled her before he acquired Kernviter and got his ass kicked, but at the same time impressed Arianhrod enough to grant him the title of Bladelord.
After knowing what I know, I do agree that in all likelyhood, with what I know of his power and what I can only assume we've been told, he is the 3rd strongest after those two, especially after finding out McBurn's true form and knowing that Arianhrod was an Awakener, however, I still feel there's room for debate, at least when we take into account what we don't know about Loewe, such as his peak strength and the particulars of Kernviter, which is able to 'somehow' thwart the powers of Sept-Terrions, not to mention whatever the hell the concept of 'Carnage' is.
It could be that out of the three he is the weakest, can't imagine by too much, considering that both McBurn and Arianhrod have nothing but good things to say about him and his prowess in battle, but unless I've missed stuff or until we get more information on him, I still believe he could be stronger than those two, if not at the time of his death then he had the potential to completely eclipse both of them in strength if he had lived.
That being said, if you do know anything solid that proves otherwise, do tell me, would be fun to find out things I may have missed out.
classic
Warriors arena stage 3
궤적 시리즈 최고의 명곡
I don't know why but this track didn't fully hit me until I was mid-fight with Richard in the ruins.
I think this is the sky equivalent of crows theme and its variants in steel, so emotional yet epic.
Its kinda of reversed
True, but it goes the other way around if you're talking about inspiration :')
@@nexusrev3377 Now that I listened to it again blue destination and descisive collision does take alot of inspiration from this theme
"Your soul shall burn in the flames of hell!"
100%’d Reverie earlier this month, which marks the end of my 11 month long series binge.
I coma back a lot to the Sky games’ ost; Silver Will especially. (I REALLY wished Loewe survived)
I’ll find someway to play Kuro in English in the coming month.
Yeah for my binge I took a few breaks but it took me two years (started around March-April 2021) and finished Reverie a little after it released here in the west
I started one year ago and I'm only halfway through Zero lol
@@cuac232 yeah everyone plays at their own paces.
It’s mostly thanks to me getting breaks from work here and there that I cleared those games that fast.
It’s been a bit since I wrote that comment. I’m on chapter 2 of Kuro 2 right now.
Más DDTank :'3
loewe's theme song.
So this is all you got lorence
Reminds me of man with the machine gun.
Easily my favorite 'rival' theme of any RPG.
Next to decisive collision and blue destination from cold steel
@@babatundeismail6732 Decisive collision is kinda just beta blue destination tho
Man I just thought him for the first time in fc and was actually shiting myself nothing I did mattered and I was not excepting this to be scripted either and with that music going omg I have not felt this way playing an jrpg in awhile. Top teir shit, man
just learned you can actually beat, next time i playthrough fc i will beat him.
That moment when Julia Schwarz joins the party and this music is playing.

Before: The last promise
Now: Andaron saga
So...the hamel village theme from CS III is a melancholy version of silver will? Interesting...
You…are aware that Hamel is a song from SC, and was just remixed by CS3
I remember when Loewe was in his disguise and this game seemed pretty generic with sky pirate and jaegers, didnt care for the villains....Then out pops out silver haired Loewe. wow was so wrong and then this fight happened, so epic.
I never hear this wataru ishibashi again as a composer I think? Is he no longer in the team?
Unfortunately, he passed away long time ago..
@@andrekima damn that's unfortunate. thanks for the info

FC loewe wasn't that bad in my opinion SC loewe tho...
his normal attacks did like 90% of my characters' hp and his s-crafts WILL one shot you lol
For me I had way more trouble with FC's and I first tried SC's. I feel like FC felt harder just because you have less to work with. You also don't have access to Kevin for the fight in FC. Kevin makes everything better. I also might have had less trouble because I was just better at the game by the time I got to the end of SC.
