I really hope that the 2 super buffs for titans wasn't everything that bungie had planned for "looking at titan internally". Lets hope for more changes that aren't just "this does more damage"

Heard one of them mention the word "keep" when it came to those supers being buffed. Might have some taken out and replaced but that's only steep speculation. Just want the tracking on TA to be brought down or removed entirely. The buff will be great if all the axes hit the target instead of just one!
They literally just said that as a "preview of the titan changes", we know that there's more stuff getting buff
This is going to be the start. Bungie is probably internally reworking things and going more fundamentally into Titans and how their subclasses work since it’s bigger than just Prismatic being bad. If it was just prismatic, then people would use meta subclasses and the new raid wouldn’t have had such a low percentage of Titans with clears.
If I had to guess, Bungie is giving Titans buffs that are more easily developed like increasing damage numbers until they can get something out that delves into the foundation of Titan subclasses more thoroughly.
THEY LITERALLY MENTIONED THIS IS THE FIRST OF THE BUFFS TO TITANS. Listen people. They said they have more stuff coming to Titans in a future release, the super buffs aren't the only things coming
I'm glad bungie decided to buff hammer of sol, it'll atleast be a bit better on prismatic. Hammer of sol without sol invictus is kinda bad
while leaving 60% of the titan exotics barebones, and unbreakable remains on a 3 minute cooldown for a 2 second duration shield ability.

There are many many objectively head scratchingly bad game design decisions loke drop rate on class item as just 1 example, 2% drop rate with a 1/64 chance who thought that was a good idea on paper?

They need to rework Prismatic Titan. Give us Into the Fray and Cryoclasm/Harvest in place of the trash perks we got. Also, for the love of God rework Unbreakable, it's effectively unusable in PvE.
Titan changes already have me worried. Who asked for a twilight arsenal buff? I mean obviously ill take it, but over a thundercrash buff? Honestly has me worried they arent listening beyond "yeah yeah heres the most basic of buffs. Dont leave."

There's more than just those 2 buffs coming, but Hammer of Sol and Twilight Arsenal seems like a direct reference everyone saying titans not having any half decent long range damage option against the Witness day 1.
Act 2 seems very substantial, getting 3 Battlegrounds is like a mini-Season's worth of activities. I am hoping that the weapon additions are not too lean with the subsequent Acts, after all it looks like two reprised Dawn weapons are being left off the "reprisal" shortlist (Steelfeather and Gallant Charge)
Battle grounds need to die forever. Worst fucking addition to the game since seasonal content came out.

@@HighCharityYTthe issue wasn't their supers, though they were middling at best. the issue was that their aspects lack both synergy and power, so it pigeonholes them into one build that is good, but still isn't as good as the best hunter and warlock builds
@@KodasGarden except peregrine is also a completely valid endgame build and is arguably more relevant for its ability to absolutely nuke champions and have very high survivability. If you weren't so doomer pilled you'd have a lot more fun in this game.

30 scorch stacks on a crit would've been a way better rework imo since it's a free ignition every 4 crits and a free ignition every 3 crits with ember of ashes on
they could also do like 40 stacks every crit but i have a feeling an ignition every 2 crits with ember of ashes might be too powerful
ignition on precision kill would also be a really nice addition for the smaller enemies who can't tank that much damage

Well, guess I should play thru the campaign on my hunter so I can prepare for the hunter-only raids I'm going to have to apply for in LFG cuz with these new mods, it's gonna be Still-Hunt as the new "Ghorn or kick" meta.
I was just looking at my Vault and I noticed I had a Last Foray (Solar Aggressive Sniper) with Envious Assassin and Cascade Point. Might be fun with the new artifact additions.
Wanting the artifact perk for bigger stronger ignition to stack with the bigger ignition fragment from solar for an earth shattering kaboom 💥
Honestly, Still Hunt feels more incline and exclusive for Hunters since it feels like synergized really well. Whisper of the Worm however will be more useful for Titans and Warlocks as it is a helpful and useful heavy. Uzume RR4 isn't a pushover as it is this week feature nightfall weapon and the rolls can be useful in other high-end content and alternative for Titans and Warlocks. Especially those that are using Outbreak Perfected meta for Pve.

I don’t mind the buff of the 2 supers for titan but I feel twilight didn’t really need that damage buff since the only issue at least for me with that super was the tracking but cool.

What's wrong with solar titan? Asking as curious hunter main. I'm getting my titan up just unlocked rocket chest
@@BREAKocean So all of Solar Titans kit is based around abilities. Roaring flames buffs their damage, sol invictus gives sunspots on ability kills, and concentration changes their melee.
Those abilities have been breaking pve for the past couple of years, so they have been nerfed into the ground. I.E. Immortal Hammer Titan.
The problem is, the subclass has no synergy outside of radiant/restoration from a fragment. So in pvp, they have no neutral game and a VERY hard time getting a ball rolling.
Warlocks and Hunters have synergy for both abilities and weapons outside of just radiant, such as "on your mark" and "icurus dash."
Titan needs more options for synergy for their whole load out then just their abilities.

@mikael100100 Again, their kit is ALL about abilities. Roaring flames doesn't last long enough to be able to be used in a dps phase unless there's adds to refresh. I would like a more involved kit for Solat Titan that includes something for their weapons to synergize with their ability use. Not just for pvp.
Hey Fallout just wanted to let you know if you are trying to run still hunt on other classes for dps Cloudstrike does more. Aegis has a great video on the topic of this seasons dps changes.

That might not drop until who knows when.
Thorn had a catalyst in the database since 2019. It didn't drop until last year in the game.
Devs have said before that they often add entries in the database for catalysts as a placeholder. Just because they're there, doesn't mean they have it done, or that they are even working into making it at all.

Have they fixed the 3rd step not completing in the seasonal challenges and with failsafe?
It works now, but doesn't update UI properly last I checked. Pick up quest from Failsafe, do a legend (or maybe a normal?) seasonal activity and find the artifact, return to Failsafe.
I got a BAAAAD feeling that all these "wait for the twab" takes in the comments around the pending titan changes are going to age VERY poorly, lol. Remember this is the same crew that followed up the banger blog post with all the sub class changes (pre final shape), with that complete head scratcher blog post where they changed like 4 exotics & nerfed a few that weren't even all that strong to begin with. We legit NEVER know with Bungie. They are the consummate 50 50 at all times when it comes to changes.
Honestly, I was kind of expecting for all of the story beats for each act to drop at once to begin with, so I am 100% on board with that idea

The Titan super buffs are nice, and I will absolutely take them. But that still doesnt solve holes like Prismatic synergy, Behemoth's lack of access to Frost Armor outside of Harvest, Sentinel's lack of melee support, and Striker's lack of range outside of grenades, and imo, the fact that Thruster only exists for its short cool down and nothing else.
Wouldn't Song of Flame just mimic the scorch on solar snipers?
How about giving titans a better prismatic grenade since suspend lasts for .2 seconds in PvP and you can’t use it on aerial targets in PvE?

I will be happy if Titan isn't just a flavour of punch. Even if they buff Titan Prismatic to insane levels, we are still going to use frenzied blade (cos 3 charges) and Consecration.
Because 3 melee nukes is still the best option and arguably more if you transcend and keep spamming it.
And yeah Knockout because it heals.
Titan needs something more than just punch and Twilight Arsenal is a major step forward. For we just need the support kit to make it a better range shooty class (void is the closest to that, but it is also the BEST shoulder charge class and people mostly run it for Peregrine now with Bubble as a secondary benefit).

Anti-Barrier Sniper and Critical Anomaly are going to have fun in GMs.
The golden gun combo is interesting. Two shots for incredible burst damage, but very punishing on miss. And we all wiff one every now and again. They probably decided being crit reliant was as much a nerf as it needed. All it takes is getting flinched once to cut your DPS in half.

Hammer of sol needs an exotic like night hawk that makes you throw one super powerful and fast hammer

i'm hoping the tuning changes coming with act 2 include buffs for some weapons i enjoy that need some love, like Ruinous Effigy and Wicked Implement. maybe Worldline Zero since this season has a few sword perks, but that's pushing the boundaries of my cope. though i think the one thing they need to touch is Blight Ranger. it's so bad lmao
Ruinous just needs a catalyst that's properly effective. it weakens, which is nice, but because it was made BEFORE the Void 3.0 rework, it's not actually "void weaken", and instead is a damage buff for the trace rifle beam itself. They gave the ball suppression, which i used a lot to bully tormentors in the Lightfall legend campaign, but the ball has maybe two exotic armor synergies, since it doesn't count as a powered melee (like it should, imo), it's really either Precious Scars or nothing. not even void damage surges from mods or exotics affect it. i haven't tested it with Nezarec's Sin, though. i think it would, since it can "sometimes" proc the void damage boost from Doomfang Pauldrons
Wicked Implement is objectively worse than every other stasis exotic. every other one reloads automatically and has some way to break crystals easier, but it relies HEAVILY on the Whisper of Rending or whatever to get that shatter in there. It also crutches harder than my grandma on Iceflare bolts from Warlock's stasis kit to be up to snuff with what an exotic should do. on top of the slow-on-hit effect being relentlessly mid, it just needs a little push. like a chill clip kind of AoE, or iceflare built in, but whatever happens, the instant reload is essential. imagine using a scout rifle at scout rifle ranges and being punished for it because the crystal shard couldn't get to you to refill your magazine before you have to reload
Worldline Zero is like if the puddle frame grenade launcher was an exotic, and a year or so later, they released a legendary weapon that does what Witherhoard does. vortex frames don't need any windup other than the charge rate, but Worldline, which is essentially the first vortex frame in Destiny 2, does? it's cute that they gave it three heavy attacks in it's last tune-up, but having to flail around like a chromosomally affluent chicken is anything but useful. or desirable. they could easily give it a proper niche by making it a vortex frame and slightly altering it's perk to be something like "on kill, gain [buff] that makes your next heavy attack teleport to the nearest opponent you aim at with increased damage" or whatever. like, give it 2x eager edge range but just have you teleport there instead of threatening any ally within your line of fire with an express one-way ticket to the Kuiper Belt.
Really glad they made the graviton 2 burst into a frame, seems to be the best imo

Still Hunt: New artifact perk row includes anti-barrier snipers, solar snipers inflicting Scorch on precision hit, larger and more powerful Ignitions, and sniper precision hits granting stacking damage, stability, and reload speed (heavy snipers giving more than one stack). No direct buffs, but the artifact is crazy for it.
Titan changes: Twilight Arsenal and Hammer of Sol are getting a damage buff, other changes in the works.
If Bungie wants to buff Titan just add Spirit of the Nighthawk to the exotic class item.... Problem solved

Yea, I'm liking it. Hope the in-game stuff holds up. It's got that whole 1950s pulp sci-fi aesthetic going like "The Rocketeer" and "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow". Love that stuff and the the old movie serials they were based on like "Commando Cody: Sky Marshall of the Universe" and "King of the Rocketmen". Good stuff.

I'm hoping the Titan Buff will be good. I usually run Titan, but compared to Warlock, it's just not as good, so I hope this buff will help a little bit.
