- In this video, we tour a beautifully designed and built camper van for a solo female vanlifer. This van features a day bed facing the sliding door, a large kitchen with a large sink and removable water jugs, a butcher block counter (made from an Ikea countertop), and a hidden litter box.

The layout - all of the layout - is one I've considered with windows in the back, a table that fits to the cabinet that holds the fridge, and the bed being able to be pulled out to a 46" width mattress when I'm not alone (mattresses stacked so it looks like hers). I'd have a Bivvy Loo and pee bottles. I'd want an underslung grey tank that can be emptied from inside an interior 40 gallon water tank. Great build though. The spray tap allows for an outdoor shower and water could be filled from inside the van if the person wanted. It also makes sense to me to have a chest style fridge and to have it at the door. Not only can groceries be loaded from there but it operates as an extra seat (with a cushion). A very practical build.

Definitely one of my favorite layouts. I love the daybed and the way the counters are arranged. I personally couldn't live without a toilet, but it's great that she can.

Love that she didn’t use a lot of room for her bed...I would do the same. A twin size bed is fine for just me👍

Sorry to hear about your kitty. I lost mine too during my journey into Vanlife. She had Cancer. Miss her so much. 🥹 I have the 136" too but not the tall roof. Nice build.

Great lifestyle. I have a South African built 4x4 caravan with shower and toilet inside the caravan. Plus all the luxuries of a home. My toilet is fixed into the bathroom area it has a ventilation system so no odors at all. I have a 200 liter water tank in the caravan and another 500 litres in the truck that tows the caravan. Solar panels, inverter, batteries galore in the caravan and also in the truck so I can survive cloudy and rainy weather. Then I can charge all the batteries from my truck when it's running. Then I have flexible solar panels also which can be placed in the sun.

Joni, love van tours but would also really appreciate IP recipes. My Mum has a 3 qt & I have a 6 qt so can you let us 6 quarters-lol-know how to modify recipe. I don’t think it’s always so simple as doubling the recipe on the 3 qts or halving a 6 qt. Or is it?

Thanks Joni for another great tour. I see indicators in many videos that van-lifers may meditate, and or may just practice Buddhism. Makes me wonder if there may be some sort of correlation between the two. I have meditated for years and recently began studying Buddhism philosophy. Love your substantive videos, keep them coming. Great looking van and I just got an idea from her I think I'm gonna put my kitchen and bathroom in the back put my bed in the front so I can look out the back while I'm cooking look out the side while I'm in bed' cause my bed will be a couch and a bed 👍

how do girls pee in a bottle??
I use a P-Style amzn.to/3a6C3la and it is the only thing in my van I have a backup for, I love it that much! It has an open design so the strength of flow doesn't matter and it's easy to clean.
Some women just use a large mouthed bottle or jar and kind of squat over it.
