- Around this time 112 years ago, Titanic dropped anchor two miles off Roche’s Point. White Star tenders Ireland and America will transport the remaining passengers and mail from Queenstown, Ireland to the ship.
She will then carry a total of 2,208 passengers and crew, the only passengers and crew she will ever know.

I love how they re-created the million dollar shot.
..."She is the largest moving object ever to be made by the hands of man in all history."
With the vent on the correct side!
But Jack and Fabrizio are missing.
And this time with correct lighting.
@@laratheplanespotter Not just the vent. The whole ship is mirrored in this scene from the film.
"By the next afternoon we were steaming west from the coast of Ireland with nothing out ahead of us but ocean."
Who said that? The Goldsmith boy?
@@garylefevers no its old rose who said it
@@garylefevers I take it you haven't watched James Cameron's Titanic movie, if you don't know this quote
And for her final doom and the monster that was awaiting her ..

As far as narrating Titanic documentaries go, Martin Sheen’s up there with David McCallum.
“Secrets of the Titanic”, produced by National Geographic.

The classic million dollar shot!
Sailing away from land for the very last time and straight into history -- where she'll remain forever.
At least we found her 😢
Profound!
Nothing beats the million dollar shot, it’s iconic.
"Take her to sea Mr. Murdoch. Let's stretch her legs"

The million dollar shot, I'm so happy you re-created it.
Looks better than the 1997 movie, and that's saying something
Can we just take a second to appreciate THAT OCEAN. It looks AMAZING! 🤯

That was gorgeous. So amazed by the progress of the water animation. Loving seeing the rushing water against the ship. What also caught my eye was the wrinkling on the covers of the life boats. Awesome touch. You wouldn’t think that those little graphics would add so much
..THG is after every rivet...They're perfectionists...And I love it about them... .
You can animate a lot more detail when it doesn't have to be rendered real-time in-engine.
“Take her to sea, Mr Mudoch. Let’s stretch her legs”! Excellent video; well done THG team! 🎉🎉🎉
So beautiful... She left forever. 💔
I have always loved Honor and Glory, and I always will!!!
..Never stop supporting them...They're honest, hardworking & perfectionist people... .
I haven't commented videos like ever, but the water blew my mind so hard I can't resist shouting it out! Amazing work! Needless to say, flawless work on the ship as well! Can tell this art is made by perfectionists, being one myself. Lots of soul, love, blood & sweat put into it. Keep it up, this will for sure end up a masterpiece.
..Wonderful comment...Totally agreed ! 🙌🏼
Well said.
Well the great ship is now sailing into ❤😢😮the history books. What a beautiful ship i still really hate where it ended up RIP to the lost souls 112 years ago You will never be forgotten as April is Titantic month. ❤😢😮

the music is beautiful, the images are GORGEOUS... what you guys are doing with this project is AMAZING
This made me cry 😢
And there she goes..... 😢
Yes, she's sailing off into history. Nobody knew that it would be the last time Titanic would be seen.
@@godzillaboy021 It would be the last time anyone would ever see her again for at least 73 years later on September 1st, 1985.
@@noahsaunders3919yes but not in her beauty and grandeur she was first made to be seen but in rust and pieces …😢
Great work, you recreated the "Million Dollar Shot" from the film perfectly
Jack and the team never disappoint
Two things. My heart aches seeing this, knowing what lay ahead. Secondly, when you see the ship represented in such stunning detail, you can really appreciate just how absolutely pretty these Olympic Class ships were. The balance of their lines, the way they sat in the water, sleek and yacht like. Alexander Carlisle’s eye for beauty of line very much evident here.
These videos, in full colour and very realistic, allow us in this time to just admire and imagine and wish that this beautiful creation had survived.
What a sublime vessel she was, and yet she passed from us in absolute youth, so new with so much promise, never to be fulfilled.
wow... so smooth and realistic animation.... I like various angles of Titanic which you shown in this animation
No matter how many times I see a video or picture of the ship.. I still say.. what a beautiful ship!
What a beautiful ship, the music is lovely too!

Sosad that she even didnt reach her destination
The reflection of sunlight off the water at 1:35, and the bow in sight is perfect.
Lovely! I was hoping to see a little Easter Egg of the crew member with his head peeking from the 4th funnel :)
To me, the last photograph of Titanic ever taken by Francis Browne

Well you just kinda did…

I’m the King of the World!
To think now, there are more views to this video than there were passangers and crew on the Titanic
Great animation, and excellent work made by Jack!
The only feedback I would give is to slow down a little bit the smoke rate from small vessels, and the bow splash and wake from the ship should be fixed (smaller splash and slower wake)
WELL DONE. MAGNIFICENT! AND THE MUSIC COMPLIMENTS THE BUILD UP TO THE INEVITABLE WHICH THEY NO NOT WHAT. AMAZING!
These recreations are beyond stunning. Thankyou for all your hard work.
Exciting. Got the 2.1.2 Version of Demo 401 to play through as well this afternoon after being released yesterday! Amazing stuff, Jack & Co.
..What's your PC configurations dude ?
@@A.Netizen.Since.2010 3060 12GB VRam, 24GB RAM and a Ryxen 5. Runs great but some areas load slowly. Maybe a problem on my end
Did anyone notice they did the a million dollar shot ?
Thats actually smart because its easy and beauitiful
It looked so identical to the real scene
..Almost everyone did... .
And it really shows off the details. I mean, just look at the shading from the cranes, mast, and cables.
The detail just blows me away. Here's three I noticed right away:
1. The subtle shading on the bow as it curves out of direct sunlight (in contrast to the hull behind it)
2. The deck planking
3. The wrinkles on the lifeboat covers
These and the hundreds of others really add up to a masterpiece.
Bro there's a James Cameron reference
I loved how the water was done. I’ve seen other games from the late nineties where a small square water graphic was made and then copied over and over again. Goes to show we’ve come a long way since that in a relatively short amount of time. Then you have the ship herself with all the tiny details put in. I read a comment noticing the wrinkles on the lifeboats’ canvas covers.
And of course, just about everyone here has of course been talking about the million-dollar shot that’s king of the world! Who can’t see the Statue of Liberty already?
❤ Fabritizo
Tiling textures saves ram, which pc's didn't have much back then
1912 version of runabouts docking with the ship. Ya i love star trek. Excellent video. ❤
@TitanicHonorAndGlory you guys are doing an amazing job with this. I was curious if it might be possible for you to release the new 2024 version of the real time sinking on CZcams before the actual time window starts
“She’s the largest moving object ever made by the hand of man in all history “
Truly amazing stuff. Can't wait till Sunday. A small point. I wonder if the foreground water sparkles could be damped down a bit as for me it was a bit distracting. Brilliant work!
32 minutes to arrival at Queenstown.
Guy who jumped off titanic on april 11 is really suspicious .. might be a time traveller
It's just amazing!!! Thank you guys for this representation
So beautiful and nostalgic - with scenes worth a million! ;)
The water looked a little funky behind the ship but other than that amazing work.
11:40 am Harold Bride heads to the bridge and informs Captain Smith of another ice warning from the S.S. Noordam.
Captain Smith then tells Harold Bride: oh not to worry. Quite normal for this time of year. Captain Smith scheduled the remaining 5 boilers to be lit tomorrow. Which will never happen.
As someone who lives in that final port of call, this is really lovely, thanks!
Simply Wonderful
This is gonna be a tall order but if they put this on a VR system (possibly PSVR2) then I'm definitely buying this because i could just imagine the detail would look absolutely stunning
very nice recreation! they even have the sun screen deployed on A-Deck.
9:38 am Saint Pierre and Miquelon time, titanic is now just 500 miles south east of Newfoundland, first ice warning received from RMS Caronia 38 minutes ago warning of field ice, icebergs and growlers at 42’N From 49 to 51’W Captian Smith acknowledges the message.
April 14, 1912 noon: as usual the Titanic’s officers gather on the wing of the navigating bridge to calculate the daily position with sextants since yesterday at noon 546 miles south east of Newfoundland.
Beautiful!
I love that recreation of the "Million Dollar Shot!" 💙
2:30 ayy movie reference
2:30 just like the million dollar shot on Titanic movie. Very beautiful.
Love the animation.
Music sounds like back to the future LOL
7:15 PM: First Officer Murdoch orders forward forecastle hatch closed to stop the glow from inside interfering with crow's nest watch above.
Absolutely stunning.
Captain Smith gives the order to first officer Murdoch to take her to sea which then first officer Murdoch relays all ahead full to sixth officer James Moody cranks the telegraph to which Chief engineer Joseph Bell received from the telegraphs all ahead full. Titanic’s engines are now set at ahead full. Only 24 of the 29 boilers were lit the full speed test of Titanic would’ve taken place on April 15, 1912 had she not sink.
in my J. Bruce Ismay voice “GLORIUS and MAGNIFICENT” 🥹🥹🥺😢
Beautiful.
the smoke from the two small boats ist way too fast!
Beautiful as always. But I'll be honest: it'd be nice if the music were a bit lower so we could hear her whistle.
Breathtaking!
Beautiful. And the music was stirring too, reminded me a bit of Vangelis. What piece is it?
I admire your team's penchant for accuracy. That famous picture of Titanics' last port of call shows those A deck "shades" drawn halfway to shade the lounge and writing room. Nice nod to historical accuracy.
Edit: Also the "million dollar shot." Corrextly shown (not reversed).
fantastic stuff
8:55 PM: Captain Smith excuses himself from dinner party, goes directly to bridge, and discusses calm and clear weather conditions with Lightoller, as well as visibility of icebergs at night.
I played this over Adam Young's "Maiden Voyage" starting at 1:02 and it was magical.
Kudos for the perfect re-creation of Cameron's money shot.
Amazing ending!
MAGNIFICENT!!!
I can't wait to see this and the sinking animation to so when is the sinking animation will be released
I’ll have to watch on the replay I’m back to work now lol
That was emotional
In a perfect world, Titanic would be berthed in Long Beach, CA right next to the Queen Mary...
I love it!😍❤
i love this its so amazing. i love tht titanic!
What a beautiful ship ….wow
This looks good, but the water is really noisy :/
from my experience I'd say the ocean can be tweaked a little as well as the lighting (some flares aren't that great). But man that's a great project. And because of that I think an honest feedback can only improves it 😁
..Oceans are loud in general... .
@@A.Netizen.Since.2010 I'm not talking about waves. But about the render, there are many noise artifacts. As a game artist and from my point of view. It's an unfortunate fact, the ocean is too noisy ^^.
And for the moment it's not a priority fix. I mean there is no game yet, it's something that can be fixed later tweaking Oceanology isn't an easy task too. And it doesn't alter the outstanding recreation of Titanic.
But yeah from my experience I'd say the ocean can be tweaked a little as well as the lighting. But man that's a great project. And because of that I think an honest feedback can only improves it ^^
By the next afternoon we where steaming west from the coast of ireland with nothing out ahead of us but ocean
Beautifully done!
Suggestion: slow down the smoke effect. It appears too fast, more like water, which makes it look artificial. It should be wafting, not flowing. Also, when smoke descends to the water, it usually swirls over the surface instead of being incorporated like a water spray.
1:42 pm Saint Pierre and Miquelon time Titanic receives another ice warning from RMS Baltic that the Greek ship Athena has been passing icebergs and large quantities of field ice.
7:30 PM: With the Marconi radio now repaired Three warning messages concerning large icebergs intercepted from the Californian (42º 3' N, 49º 9' W). Message delivered to bridge. Captain attending dinner party below. Ice now only 50 miles ahead.
112 years since she visited home for the last time. Imagine the guilt the tender captains felt hearing she sank. They carried all those innocent souls to the ship they’d die on.
Twas sad and such a stunning ship
What i would do to see the titanic like this in real life.
Queens town god rest there souls greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Looks cool
"There was peace and the world had an even tenor to it's way. Nothing was revealed in the morning the trend of which was not known the night before. It seems to me that the disaster about to occur was the event that not only made the world rub it's eyes and awake but woke it with a start keeping it moving at a rapidly accelerating pace ever since with less and less peace, satisfaction and happiness. To my mind the world of today awoke April 15th, 1912."
-Jack B. Thayer, Titanic Survivor
All the excitement and hopes and dreams. Little did they know... 14 people from a small village near where I live were on that ship. Only some of them made it.
Lovely! Love the recreation of the Million Dollar Shot! Anybody else think the music sounds like a less bombastic version of the Back to the Future theme? I'm not knocking it, just couldn't get it out of my head once I heard it.
10:55 PM: Some 10 to 19 miles north of Titanic, the Californian is stopped in ice field, and sends out warnings to all ships in area. When the Californian's wireless operator calls up Titanic, his ice warning is interrupted by a blunt "Keep out! Shut up! You're jamming my signal. I'm working Cape Race." The Californian's sole operator listens in to Titanic's wireless traffic and then at 11:30 turns off his set and retires for the night, as is the custom.
