- Diving deeper down the F1 rabbit hole I head out onto the Algarve track and try and learn a little more about raceing at the top end of the spectrum!

I was like wait..... that track isn't in game yet?! freaking love Portimão! Cannot wait for that release, one of my all time favourite tracks. it feels like a blending of Interlagos and Catalunya, it just flows beautifully.
Flow is great and the elevation changes are fantastic, looks prety cool too :)

Thanks for showcasing the mod! It's interesting to see how the AI behaves on this mod track, as they are often hit and miss compared to Reiza tracks. Just to clarify, in case there's any confusion for anyone - IMMERSION Modding Group mods have nothing to do the with the 'NAMeS pack' you mentioned a couple of times. All IMG mods (including the F1'93 one you've linked above - thanks!) have their own AI files, and installing any NAMeS pack in addition is unnecessary will likely mess things up.
Not what the mods have said? If your running a multi class race all classes must either have no custom Ai files or all of them must have them otherwise they wont apear in the field. Link to this pack by imersion group in description, I run multiple mods and get confused while trying to drive and talk...It's the alcohol wipes for the vr.........running other ai mods in a single class race is fine unless there for the same class.
@@hereward1971 Yeah no worries - you're correct that for multiclass you need AI files for all involved classes or none, and the NAMeS pack can be a good solution for that - but if you install a single-class season mod that comes with its own AI file (like the IMG F1'93 mod, and most others), and then install NAMeS 'on top of' the season mod, the NAMeS pack will probably overwrite the AI file that came with the season mod, which is probably not what you want. I make the IMG AI files - thanks again for showing off the mod - great to see people enjoying it 👍
It is a bit of a mindfield at times LOL especialy running mods from multiple parties, gets even more chaotic running online sessions with mods! (Keep it simple stupid seems to work LOL) I do make some right clangers doing these videos though, I said it was the F1 97' pack at one point LOL I just jump in and no script one take things, warts and all and you get more comedy errors and I forget half the stuff I wanted to say trying to actualy race the thing LOL Lofi sin vids, the fopars are made up by watching my mistakes ;)

do you use any form of reshade for VR?
And do you have a vid on how to setup the HUD, because it's terrible in VR?
Tried the re shaders, threw them in the bin, really struggled with them in VR, The HUD is broke, after years of trying it I just came to terms it would never be fixxed and moved on LOL
@@hereward1971 I set my HUD so that everything is stacked on the right so I can glance at it, but I'd rather have it spread around the peripherals, like I do in iRacing.
I'm reading some Reddit posts now, about how some racers are using reshade with quest and also OpenXR but I can't get either to work.
Don't get me wrong, AMS2 (and 1) is still the best in VR, but it sometimes looks a little too colourfull, and I need to down tone it a bit...........I've set the contrast option in the game settings to 0.3 which helps.

Fingers crossed this new toy I got coming today, A new Router to play with, lol, I tried that Virtual Desktop steaming app, But it was choppy for me, But when you can only get 65mbps at the highest internet speed, Your VR is going to be crap, i might ring Sky and ask if they can give me faster internet yet, Sky said it is coming, lol, I mean I pay for Super Fast, And 65mbps isn't exactly super fast is it, lol, Fingers crossed this new Router will boost my internet to at least 150mbps...
Hey I am 15th on the Nordsliefe using this car, This F1 car is loopy, And there isn't any other Sim Racing title with the History that AMS 2, Good little race, I never even realized it was the weekend lol....
