Few things to keep in mind... these fights are soloable on BLU, I purposely didn't do BLU though because I already knew that but in hindsight I should of mentioned that in the video, so apologies! As for O3S, a few of you pointed out that its actually possible to solo as a Scholar or Sage with a crit shield... apologies again, I didn't realise it does more damage as a tank >

an explanation on what happens in O3s. Damage done by failing the game is based on your Max HP as such being a tank is counterproductive. SCH and SGE have a better chance at surviving it and it has been done since 6.51. It does requires a crit shield though

Altough rathalos is very much soloable, please just grab a friend for it. That fight takes FOREVER as solo
I can do it pretty consistently as a bard (ranged + bard-suna makes it comfier) but it's definitely annoying when you get stunlocked. Definitely easier with a friend.
yup, solo'd the 50 scales in sub 6.1 gear as a drg it was quite painful. Needed to cart once to wipe fire debuff and make sure to do enough dps do the body and then pop the tail at 1-2 seconds before it got up to be able to kill it before enrage. Now with 660 gear it's probably a damn joke

I keep finding these small FF14 content creators putting real work out there and its amazing. I might even give a game a proper shot with reading all dialogue but then... its risky i won't come back to real life after..

I'm surprised you didn't try paladin. Beyond death is very easy to handle as a pld because what you're mailing doing is using Shelton and any dm holy spirits to hold out for the high burst healing of your reqa

On a different note as free trial, I was able to BLU solo Lakshmi (14min), Suzaku (25min), and Tsukuyomi (17min) on normal with level sync and Echo on, and I was able to learn their spells. Suzaku was easily the hardest.
I tried O1, and Alte Roite decided at 13m30s I was taking too long and hard enraged, doing unavoidable 28k true damage. It still had 29% hp, and there was no way for me to put out that much more dps, so I've decided all the normal raids have some enrage. I learned the Omega spells in a party.
You free trial players are just built different.
As far as I remember from when I did the same thing, O2S is possible but very tight. You had to get petrified with a shield, so you technically would then not take auto-attack damage and the petrification wouldn't "hit" you for damage. Then after that he starts a mechanic cast and doesn't auto you so you get out of it, since it only lasts for 20 seconds
Mad respect for undertaking this, it must have taking a lot of time. I keep Trying Rathaltos EX but the stupid mammoth leaves before I can kill it and then I die.
I just made sure to DPS the Mammoth down as soon as I was unstunned! I ignored all the other mobs until I made sure the Mammoth was dead

@@Cuthawolf Gave it a go as WAR with item level 644.
The mammoth goes down very fast from a few Fell Cleaves or mix of just one and regular 1-2-3. Might just need stronger gear!
I did have to remember to dps the main body a bunch after downing it before cutting the tail (I just did some usual Inner Chaos burst damage stuff, might be safe to hit the tail with one fell cleave first then dps body so you can pop it at will), as otherwise I don't have the dps to win before enrage.
Still took ages but very doable as WAR even when getting knocked around.

I only got 1 clear back in shadowbringers but it was very painful.
This is great. Now I just need a tank leveled up high enough now.
O3S is possible but only with healers. Shield healers to be specific.
Shadowbinger Trials I've gone into at least to see what issues we'd have. Well like the first 2 will be a problem due to adds that tether to each other. The 4th fight will have the same problem. The normal strat with that is kill the adds before they tether, but most earlier fights with this mech only have 2 adds that do it, these fights often have 3 making this I'll say extremely difficult to solve.
Edit: Ok I went back to Titania I got to enrage at about 32% left on health on the boss. At least for Titania's add phase if you stand by the two trees to the North West you can keep them from getting to close. Just stand between them. The third tree on the East won't move so it won't be a problem. As stated below in a comment BLU has done it. Tanks need some more damage, or more likely I just need better gear and to be better. I'm by no means bis, only at 650. Someone more geared or skilled on tanks may be able to do it right now. Or we may need to wait for 7.0 to have the damage to tank it.
BLU has soloed Titania EX, will have to see how possible it'll be
The trick to Tsukuyomi is listening to the music, since it always starts at phase 2. it's possible to get it consistently.
I've personally only solo-ed o4s so far and it was one of the most satisfying challenge I've done in the game. I was able to get it down in only 2 ish hours, but there was something pretty gratifying about going one big session to master the mechanics and get my rhythm down rather than trying over and over again for weeks.
I kind of want to try other fights too, even though I already got the mounts.
funny thing about byakko, you could hypermit the double grab on content. I remember doing that in farms when my cotank was durdling around with their opener
The problem with Tsukoyomi EX right now is you need to get the meteor clip TWICE to solo her, which is almost impossible. Next expansion with more damage you should only need one so it should be more manageable, although still very dependent on luck.
I mean, even doing it once is nigh impossible, so it won't do anything to its viability to solo.
@@MyVanir I've done it like 3-4 times myself. I have a good feel for the timing, but even then it's still mostly luck.
It is easy but require a lot of luck from the server tick, out of 50 runs I've done it 7 times, it is not that bad, and if we are really going to be able to take on the boss within one meteor phase, then yes, it will be doable and not even hard, just luck dependand.
Just came to see if you found a way to do o12S solo, but seems it still isn't. The rest I already knew after much of my own trial an error, but on war and at 610 ilvl gear, which did require using pots to get through some of the fights dps checks, but now probably doesn't.

Rathalos EX as a DRK when I was still level 80. Was it fun? No. Will I do it again? Also no.
Doing rathalos ext solo in general is just pain
I tried to do Tsukiyomi savage last night for two hours, and I only managed to pull off the meteor jump once. It wouldn't be so bad if the fight allowed you to start over right at that point, but since it doesn't, trying to get a frame perfect jump is just too tedious.
I look forward to farming Rathalos next expac for the dyeable armor.
One thing I wish the devs would do more of is have fights scale to the number of party members for body checks. There are several dungeons and trials where you don't need a full party because the mechanics are role specific, but they keep designing fights where you will instantly die if something isn't resolved that requires more than one player. It honestly takes the fun out of attempting to solo stuff.
What's not to get with Midgard? Spin spin you go out, spin flip must go in, flip flip go diagnols and flip spin be on the cardinals.
If you've not done it already would you also compile such a list for 50/60 stuff? Sometimes I see certain raid glamours and wish I could get them but either due to poor gearing or certain mechanics its currently questionable on what I can solo (as I rarely am online as any acquaintances I could pull into 2 or 3 man runs)
Oh every class can easily solo 60 savages.

Ofc, most (if not all) DPS jobs can do it, and I bet tanks could do it with a lucky CDH or two - but it's definitely way easier on some jobs than others, and healers probably shouldn't even try.
Now solo the Ultimates (I wish we could at least enter them alone) 😢
I've done lakshimi ex and o5-11n solo whm. Yeah it's lowtier but it's fun. I'm still working on shinryu ex.
I havent done those solo yet. Only ever done them Duo with a friend. Tank/healer duo makes most fights trivial.
Did you try using Living Shadow along with salted earth for Susano's sword, or just salted earth?
Nevermind, I just tried it and Living Shadow disappears when you start the active time event. sadge

For the Shadowbringers Duties, only the dungeons can be solod, trials are way harder and impossible
Funny how O4 is not soloable but O4S is.. dmn doom right off the rip. (Unless a way has been found to circumvent it)
Try it on sage, or probably any healer, but that's the only one I have so that's what I used.
Not me watching this video after failing to clear O2S for the same reasons... lol. At least I won't keep trying until I find a friend
Omega 10 11 and 12 savage can be done solo as blue mage, theres a video on it as well
oh yeah I remember the 12s BLU solo, it has the caveat of you needing to win the RNG roll with force aura though

SMN pets might pop susano sword maybe
Potentially a good idea but pets require a target to summon and also only attack your attack once you attack them so they would just afk on the sword even if you did manage to pre-summon before the transition ;w;
I tried Doton once and it didn't break the sword, but I have no idea how close it was.

How peculiar I was doing the same exact thing the otherday :) I suppose for the ones which can't be solo'd it be fine if you had one additional partner so the challenge remains the same... or someone to stand around dodging stuff until whatever important mechanic happens resolves.
Not an EX, but Kugane Ohashi is also possible to solo. You need to manipulate the location of the 2 adds though.

He's full 660 but it's not needed, some of them can be solo'd on a lower ilevel but the more you can get the quicker and more convenient it will be
If I can avoid having to listen to tantrums from some simp carried karen or some angry neck beard, then I would loooooove to Solo high end raids. 😄
