My VW CORRADO G60 supercharged Gets an all new look with a BRUSHED ALUMINIUM Paint Job! Volkswagen

- In this video I get to paint my Volkswagen Corrado G60! I built this supercharged bundle of joy back in 2018 for the Essen Motor Show, the body was bare metal with clear lacquer over the top. Disaster struck when my storage unit had a leak and the car was covered in water for months and rusted badly. It ruined the original paint job so its time to do it again! This time instead of the bare metal, I'm going to try the brushed look with coarse aluminium paint. Hope it works!! Watch and find out!

You've never done this effect before. Guess what, it looks amazing.
I think the look of lacquered over brushed bare steel is one of the sexiest finishes I have ever seen in my life. That car is sick man. Loving the old school Borbet wheels and the ghosted in decals are insane. Beautiful interior. The completed look of this car goes beyond just your run of the mill project car, you Sir, are a Renaissance Man....and btw the look of those perforated members through the front window is out of this world man!

Love the paint job..... the rims not so much. Lol. Your a very skilled painter. I love the air ride system. How hard was that to install??? I have a Corrado G60 and I'm thinking about putting the air ride suspension in if it's not too pricey. Lol
Air rides easy enough to install, if you can fit coilovers you can fit air. Just setting the height once your done is a little time consuming but easy. This air kit was the cheapest one I could find but it was still just over £2000 from Only Charged Dubs. If you go the for better stuff like Air Lift Performance which is what I’ve got on my Vw shorty Beetle your talking £3500 easy.

Where did you guy's manage to find the rubber drip rails for the roof ? There next to impossible to find .
The Rado looks great. I would have preferred to see the stock bumper and possibly E36 BMW head lamps on it
Amazing paint job. Young people today don't know what it is how do you Tell them it is an amazingly underpowered car that Volkswagen should've continued to build. I'm getting preachy never mind.

I absolutely love what you guys do but this looked crap on the video so god only knows what it looks like up close , no offense guys cause all the other work I've seen have been epic , the silver has shadowed like hell on the bonnet looks terrible , sorry don't look good . But anyway negative out the way I love the show and the escorts and short veedubs came out beautiful 😍

@ODD Autos I think if you had flat cleared it , it would have looked loads better , my opinion, maybe I'll see it in person and change my mind , will you show it anywhere and where in the country roughly are you guys ? I can't make ya accents out , anyway can't wait for the next video I keep looking for one but I've literally watched em all , I absolutely love the mk1 fast 6 escort you guys did and that jig table is a brilliant idea I'm going to build one myself for my place ❤️
How did you get the Borbet a to tuck in under the arch in the rear ?
Got the little camber shim kit that sits behind the rear stub axle. To be honest if I was going to use it as a daily I’d take them of as it’s a bit twitchy in the corners.
I would have finished it with a mat clear coat, would be a lot more realistic.
Was going for the brushed look, did try mat clear on the fuel flap as a test but it covered up the effect.
