A bunch of mistakes in this video... Rafale C is NOT the latest model : it's the main role designation. There are 3 : C is "Chasseur", single-seat land based, B is "Biplace", dual seats for nuclear bombing (and other bombing missions), and M for "Marine" with CATOBAR compatibility. The Rafale came out as an air frame proving prototype in 1986, but was overhauled completely for its first "active" version, designated F1, which was made with the sole purpose of replacing the thoroughly outdated Crusaders serving in the French Marine Nationale at the beginning of the 2000's.
As such, there were only M models to the F1 standard and they only had air-air capabilities. The F2 standard (to which all F1 planes were upgraded) was the first "complete" Rafale with M, C and B variants available.
Later on, the F3 improved Rafale's capabilities and was subsequently improved to the F3R standard a few years ago. F4 is currently undergoing final qualifications, and all existing planes will be upgraded to at least F4.1 standard (only newer planes will get to the F4.2 standard).

Hahaha ! Sorry bud, youre dead wrong. The Aussies placed a sub order with the French for diesels cos of the Fukushima nuclear incident ,nuclear subs would’ve been a political no-no. The French had to redesign their export subs to accommodate the Aussie diesel request, that took time , re-engineering costs ,delays -to accommodate the Aussie specs. The French already have nuclear subs that could’ve been produced very quickly. The Aussies then sneaked in a new deal with the UK and US. The Rafale is a beautiful plane, its Spectre ews reducing its rcs to that of stealth 5th gen fighters, only fighter in the world that can carry 1,5x own weights in fuel ,armaments. Blisteringly quick , 65000ft/min -rivaling that of the eurofighter,F22-certainly quicker and more capable than any Russian/Chinese plane. Also only $75m, not the $200m as per video. So mate, youre are very wrong! Dassault should be tasked with producing a 6th gen fighter for France by 2030cos working with consortiums eg the eurofighter adds costs and delays

While Rafale planes cost 28,000 USD for an hour's flight, this cost is calculated as 12,000 USD for F-16s. This causes an enormous cost difference in an aircraft's life cycle. It's ridiculous that a poor country like Greece would buy them. The majority of the 24 Rafales purchased are used aircraft that have already reached the end of their economic life. The big stake the French dumped on the Greeks. Poor Greeks....

wow another CZcams specialist, much more competent than the military intelligence of the countries concerned, you are a fine strategist known and recognized throughout the world, because it is certain that to face the main enemies of the Greeks, the Turks and their ...F16s...we need more sophisticated F16s, don't we? the American F16s have been beaten several times by the French Rafale, do you know? it's been going on for years in all the competitions in the world, you have to update yourself. and people like you keep talking about the F16...it's really funny. Greeks are not stupid, they know that the Rafale is much more efficient and more versatile than your F16. if the Greeks are quiet right now it's because they have Rafales and not a Greek F16 against a Turkish F16. ridiculous.

$200 million! That's a lot of money for a fighter which isn't stealthy and certainly not revolutionary. The vastly superior F-35A costs $85 million, the F-22 around $250 million.
