I use to play madden all day every day, but this type of play is a whole different level, I never understood how plays on offense and defense worked, I just kinda threw to whoever was open and played man or blitz on defense lol

Maaan I stopped playing madden years ago because I’m so competitive but don’t actually enjoy watching or playing (irl) football. So my biggest issue was always understanding offense and defensive plays. Definitely earned a sub if you got more content like this!
Using Bunch with 3 plays that have always worked well, truly innovative.
Wouldn’t work without a few tweaks that most pros wouldn’t do and also allowed him to read the defense easily after adjustments

You are completely right lol that why i stopped buying this game. for years Skimbo use bunch and that same few plays out of i over and over and i used to be a big time player doing travel tournaments and online ones. EA is ripping everyone off. all they care about is promoting MUT so everyone will spend even more money on a game they dont put any effort into making.

Mesh post and Mesh wheel are about the closest thing we have left to my old favorite, Saints Mesh Wheel - man, I could make 8 different (effective) plays out of that one play...

@@haitiangamer84 - in terms of Mesh concepts, the Ravens only have 4 plays, and I'm not too crazy about any of them... the PA mesh out of split nasty MIGHT be workable with hot-routing, but idk... try it and let us know :)

@@haitiangamer84 - actually, I'm working on a scheme from the Ravens playbook in 'Gun Deuce Close' - opponents will never know if you're about to run up the middle or send 5 out on routes... and there's a pretty solid mesh play in there called 'mesh spot' that can be hot-routed pretty nicely.
It's also a symmetrical formation, so there is no weak or strong side for your opponent to key off of (unless you motion one of the TEs to try and fake them out)

Corner routes and slants/drags all day is the formula. He's perfected the art of throwing it where his opponent doesn't double the other open guy

its a game with programmed AI. Once you work out how they function(through many many hours of play no doubt) you can use it to your advantage. Plays that always seemed to "work" have been around in madden since the 2000's

its funny. i havent played madden since 19 but all i ever ran was bunch trail and mesh post and i'd make hella adjustments out of it. wild to see he murdered and has won a ton with it.

I once won a Madden Tournament by cheesing audibles I had set up as three running plays: left/right/dive. It was somehow impossible to stop in that particular version of Madden (2007). I was held out of the end zone 14 possessions total in 11 games. All but 1 of those was because of a fumble.
That’s funny I used to only use over storm brave, and play LB I would decide if I was blitzing or running in coverage when necessary haha

@@tdup191 Which at the end of the day, I don’t care. I loved NFL blitz growing up but it was fun and ridiculous. It’s the fact they have the nerve to monopolize NFL video games on the stipulation of it being a true sim, and it clearly isn’t. I haven’t bought the game in almost a decade now
Madden stopped being good after the PS2 days. PS2 Madden delivers more realistic sim football

@@tdup191 yeah we’re on the same page! I also love franchise modes but literally it’s so broken. The player progression is all wrong and that shouldn’t be that difficult. Everyone shouldn’t be 90+ overall in 10 years and the contract negotiations are a joke. They don’t develop it because it doesn’t make them money after people buy the game. Honest to God, it should be free to play.
if you have enough offensive line protection I guess you could always use the playmaker feature. Or if not that just scrambling would be okay

I NEVER HAVE SEEN THIS GUY PLAY BEFORE, but he runs the same plays lol. And why I stopped playing Madden. You only need 6 Plays with one to answer each situation to get easy dubs.

Hey man! Cheers for the tips! I have a series idea, i know its not for most but theres is basically 0 content for this. Im european, got the game on EA Pass and trying to understand both the concepts of the console game as the actual game of football. Id suggest (and ask) for a basic series aiming for anyone who is brand new to the sport. Because of EA play i think many more people will start playing in Europe, and UFC and NBA are already WAY bigger, so this could grow a lot aswel.

My old scheme in M16 was Mesh Post, Mesh Seam and Mesh out of pistol bunch, the RB would motion out to the single wr side and run a streak if they played man the LB would motion out with the RB and get absolutely dusted.
