  • Middleweight motorcycles are the ideal machines to negotiate the twisty and technical road course at Ridge Motorsports Park. Supersport race two underscored that sentiment perfectly as the riders put on quite a show. Don't miss these highlights.

      It's so easy to support a female in motorsport who is there entirely on merit.

    Wow...Miss Yaakov passing and holding off some really good racers. She's giving off some Michele Mouton vibes.

    Scholtz had the pace over PJ - he caught him easily from 4 sec down once he was clear of the pack. Made a decisive, clean pass and he held his line through the entire corner. He had the spot by half a bike length @7:06 you can see for yourself.
    PJ decided to lean back in and caused his own fall. I know Scholtz did not like the result; he has always been a clean racer. R6 was rock steady and this track suits the 600. Scholtz was gonna win, he did not want to wait around. Too bad PJ burned 20 points by not accepting his fate.

    It was a clean pass. PJ forcing his way to get his line back but already closed by the yamaha rider.

    Supersport has been a close duel between Scholtz and Jacobsen. Contact was probably inevitable, but you never want to see a rider get taken out.

      He took himself out, tbf. All it was, was a block pass. But he could clearly see Scholtz on his inside but decided to turn into him anyway.

      Please add an option for ambient mode, so we can hear the bikes better, and not a constant stream of blah, blah, blah from the booth. We don’t need the constant analysis of what we can see for ourselves , and we can read the leaderboard and lap counter. It’s like watching a movie with someone describing it to us! MotoGP offers it, and it’s the only way my friends and I will subscribe.

    Mathew is giving every 750 and 850 a riding lesson on the tiny 600! In a class of this own.

    • @firstielasty1162
      @firstielasty1162 Před měsícem +1

      Power of each is "adjusted"..,,making it so that in this class, there is really no benefit to larger displacement. If there were, you'd have to be kind of dumb to ride a 600.
      The adjustment is based on track performance (lap times), not simply matching horsepower numbers. The 600 hp might still be down, relatively, but it is light and handles well, and as you see, the result is good.
      My understanding of this strange business of throwing different sized bikes into the same class. It is sort of strange.

  • @mirchiboyz
    @mirchiboyz Před měsícem +1

    Man!!!! This was the season for Matt to be on a superbike with all the injuries in the main class. MotoAmerica is dumb for not having the elite rider on the superbike.

    scholtz left a ton of room for jacobsen there, and since they were leaning left, scholtz already half a bike length ahead for a good 1-2s, it's entirely on jacobsen at that point unfortunately. he's the one behind, with all the room and vision. a shame, wouldve been a good fight.

    It was such a disappointment to be a VIP spectator at the track! I'll never spend money on that again when the viewing is so much better from video. The audio coverage was only audible from a couple places on the track, and the video feen even less useful.
