It's very sad that the comments don't respect these indie devs and only care about Metroid Prime 4 and stuff like that.

It's Nintendo's CZcams page, people are going to ask for what they are interested in. This game may not interest people, nothing wrong with that.

I mean, they put in the effort, but the market is a bit over-saturated with indie farming sims at the moment. One that seems to focus on online multi-player gameplay also seems like an odd direction for such a genre.
I'm more comfortable with "FaeFarm", "Paleo Pines", "ReGrow", and multiple other titles in that vein, not to mention the bigger "Story of Seasons" franchise. Much prefer those over a 'free-to-play' farming mmorpg that can't show me much more gameplay than a typical "Animal Crossing" clone, and that's speaking as someone who plays "Animal Crossing" ans "Dreamlight Valley".
I appreciate unique Indie titles as well, like "Elli", "On Your Tail", "A Highland Song", and many more that would just be me gnawing your ear off.
But I don't feel your argument stands when you're venting about people getting excited over the continution of an oft-neglected Nintendo franchise that usually goes multiple ywara without a new title, if not bordering on a decade versus what appears to be an online farming sim in an oversaturated market that is going to be funded primarily by microtransactions like buying costume fragments and changng the color of your furniture.
For those that dont know this is made by some of the old devs from World of Warcraft

Why are you such a sad creature? It's not cod bro where they're telling you to do things with your mother every sentence, its palia the chat has always been nice and chill from what I've seen.
Some people simply prefer to not see the chat. I'm one of those people.
Yea it's not about not being able to talk to people cause that can be fun. But in the current build of the game the chat takes up a huge part of the screen and it's a little annoying to me. Plus I generally don't like to see chats in games because of the occasional weirdo ruining the vibe. And I'll be playing this game alongside my group of friends on a phone call so no need to worry about my social life. But appreciate it anyway haha.

Just started playing this yesterday. And minus some of the glitchiness. So far, it's kinda fun.
it looks like a non-disney dreamlight valley.
Pretty much what I'm seeing, only maybe with MORE emphasis on online play as they don't have iconic characters to fill the void of in-game friends.

Why do we need that? The switch is already mobile and has a shop. What’s the point of buying a game on a phone when you still need to use the switch to play it anyway? Seems pointless

I love farming and survival games. Any great ones on switch please? Used to play lost in blue long time ago and it was the best
Hm. Survival games aren't what I'm familiar with, but I know plenty of farming sims.
Ooblets, Paleo Pines, and ReGrow are the first ones that come to mind, but I'd have to review my collection to provide more titles.
"Moonstone Valley" has a few more survival elements because it's also a 'mon game.
"Good Life" is kind of survival in the sense that finance management is given more emphasis.
Not really survival but there’s combat, farming and an overall story. You might like Harvestella. I believe there’s still a demo of the first 2 chapters. Was immediately hooked and brought it.

As far as survival goes my favorite one on the Switch is No Man’s Sky. Isn’t as good as it is on PC but it still runs and looks great on Switch! I’d have to say Stardew Valley is my favorite farm sim on Switch. Also in my opinion the new Lego mode in Fortnite is pretty fun. It’s got survival and farming in it.

It’s really interesting that they targeted the switch for release as well as pc, did they test the switch version because it’s incredibly poor, I’m sure it will get patches etc but I wonder how the pc version runs? It is apparently tricky too port too switch
I haven’t had any issues with the Switch version. But I was only playing for maybe 30 minutes. On PC it runs great! At least 60 fps on my laptop consistently. If you have a decent computer I’d recommend you try it on that as well.

I wonder how it'll play on Switch compared to on pc's
Obviously it runs better on PC but it still runs pretty good on Switch. Lag is very minimal. I played it on Switch for about half an hour this morning. Did some mining and hunting mostly and some climbing since I figured those activities would be the most taxing and I didn’t have any performance issues. It just looks better on PC and has higher fps on PC.

I tried to download this because it was free. But deleted it right away because of so many set up like new accounts, verify your email. It will not open or playable until you set it up. And it takes me 30 minutes to figure it out. The worst part is you have to be online all the time. You cannot save you progress if you don't have an account. Fantastic trailer but it's not worth it.
hard pass, due to it being online only.. really wanted it to offline as well - sigh.

Decent time waster if that's what you're after. Could use a little polish to clean up the stuttering, load times and few texture issues but none of that makes it unplayable. It's 3d stardew valley with less to do for now, I'm sure that'll grow over time. Not my type of game to sink lengthy time into so my few hours trying it out are more than likely done. Only downside I found would be potential griefers as far as harvesting points. If you're harvesting, someone can take the last hit and leave you with nothing. Haven't seen anyone intentionally do it but someone whacked a tree I was cutting down and I got nothing for it. It's free and for that it's more than playable.
That's odd that you didn't get credit. As long as you get a single hit in you should both receive drops. The sole exception is if your axe is too low a level to damage the tree.

Incredibly boring game
It’s actually not. I said the same thing at first, but I actually sat down and played it with my cousins yesterday. It’s boring at first when you’re stuck doing the quests, but it’s actually quite fun when playing with other people.
Deleted game without even playing it. Telling me I can't use a name because it's profanity ? How ? It's a made up name...
It does NOT look like this on switch. After I made my character it has you walk through a BotW styled opening and it couldn't even keep a stable framerate before you make it out the door. The graphics were muddy and disgusting also. Uninstalled immediately.

Pretty much guarantees the game will have no meaningful future other than a skin shop sim if it's releasing on Switch. Don't expect seasons now...
