This sub enclosure reminds me of some other notable designs you’ve shown, mostly from D&B Audiotechnik. One thing I notice is the grid-like pattern in the front. Does this have any effect on the sound over others that just have an opening?

Are you sure about the 18ipal by B&c? Is possible that the original drivers are b&c 18sw115 or 18ds115 in parallel (8ohm for each woofer) instead of 2 18ipal in series? Thanks a lot!
