  • @b_ainge18 and I came together to teach you an easy way to learn how to Ollie! Just remember to slide that front foot and even that puppy out to get the very highest you can!

    I'm going for my third time tomorrow before going on a cruise next week. I still have a little trouble keeping it under control. Do you put most of your weight on your back foot and steer with your front? what tricks do you think are the easiest to learn? Like what would you recommend be the first 5 tricks to work on? I have some snow and skate experience. Any advice would be great. (The first time I ever went was in Ogden about 3 years ago, and I remember seeing you there.)

      +Ben Soelberg thanks for the support man! Your main goal is to try and use your back foot to steer if you're just beginning and learning how to carve try using both feet to dig in your toes and Hillside. I definitely suggest learning to carve, spin, Ollie, maybe doing a back 180 and then trying to shove

      I can do front and back 180s, but always eat it try to spin it back around. Tomorrow I'll get them dialed.

      +Ben Soelberg that's where learning how to spend with your hand and without your hand comes in handy because you learn how to go heel and toe without needing to your assist yourself when you add in pop to your 180 front or back

    Im really struggling with height on my ollies. At best they are half knee height and id like to get them to knee height. After you compress, do you push down with even pressure on both feet? Or push with more pressure on the front or back? And the back foot, do you push straight down or down and back? Thanks for the vids!

      @twosdayswithtk  Před 5 lety +2

      You have to find what works best for you and how you ride. I push more down with my back foot because I skateboard a lot. My front foot is more of the steering wheel and letting me get higher. Practice practice practice is the best advice I can give!

    How good of a venue is that? Do they ever let more than one person ride at a time?

    • @twosdayswithtk
      @twosdayswithtk  Před 8 lety +1

      +Danny Tepper definitely man! We throw the divider in and you can have one person on each side surf or boogie board, sometimes if we have good people will do double runs without the divider in!

      I know what I'm doing I can do 3 shuvs on both bodyboard and flowboard, I hate dividers lol I'd love to come there sometime. The wave there is a triple jet pretty fast and steep right?

    • @twosdayswithtk
      @twosdayswithtk  Před 8 lety

      +Danny Tepper we just recently tightened our mat so it's not as steep as it was before but still steeper than most FlowRider. We definitely take out the divider a lot and the wave is pretty thick and fast
