- How do you choose the bible verses/topics to study?
A lot of my video topics come from requests from subscribers, so if there's a certain scripture or topic you would like to see a video on leave a comment below. When I'm studying my bible personally, I study areas that I know I need to improve in. Other times I randomly pick a scripture from the bible or I'll look up scripture mentioned in a sermon, etc.
- What Bible do you use?
I typically read out of the NIV and I use the Bible app on my phone (made by Life.Church/ YouVersion).
✏ ABOUT
I am just a regular girl who loves Jesus and studying the bible. I have no formal training in the word (which is probably clear from the videos lol). Study the bible with me as I make videos using my bible study bullet journal. Having a bible study journal has helped me learn how to get closer to God. I use my Christian bullet journal as a way to learn more about the word. The bible study videos are typically women's bible study videos, however all are welcome here. I also post a new video every Friday on a new chapter of the bible, starting with Genesis 1! Study the whole bible with me as I learn more about God's word, chapter by chapter. I cannot put into words how beyond GRATEFUL I am for this channel and amazing group of believers that support and share feedback with each other. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♡

Great video! I wonder if the brothers had a relationship with Jacob. It never really mentions their relationship especially amongst one another. To me it kind of seems as if the boys have kind of raised themselves, so all they know is how to give revenge or anger.
Also, one thing that I’ve noticed is that there’s a reason why the Lord says do not be jealous. Jealousy leads to envy which leads to bitterness and anger. If left untreated it leads to hatred which leads to those evil thoughts. This chapter was just full of sad and deceptive ripple effects.

Heeey there, Im a little bit confused, in my Bible chapter 38 comes before chapter 37, which is odd, but makes narrative sence. Does that happen in other editions?
some bible translators can make mistakes! I seen a couple mistakes in bibles, so just ignore it and pretend it's 37 to 38 instead of 38 to 37
just searched it up on google and it says one piece of silver was worth about 20 dollars so 20 x 20 is 400$
not back then only 10
worth $200
20 shekels of silver is 220 dollars
I dont feel as if Joseph was boasting more so he didnt believe that they were jealous of him and just simply he wanted them to be happy for him because he had dreams and it was something he was proud of like in the now times we tell others about our accomplishments not boasting but just simply proud of the accomplishment and the trials we went through to get to where we are.

The brothers moved away from the pit so as not to hear Joseph’s cries of mercy (when we saw the distress of his soul, when he besought us, (42:21)). Whilst the brothers were eating, they caught sight of an Ishmaelite caravan and Judah said: What profit … and his brothers listened. They all agreed that as soon as they finish eating, they would haul Joseph out of the pit and sell him to the Ishmaelites. Whilst the brothers were talking the Midianites passed by, quite by accident, and took him and sold him to the Ishmaelites for 20 pieces of silver. Reuben, unseen by them, rushed to the pit to haul Joseph out and return him to his father before his brothers would have a chance to sell him. Joseph was sold without his brothers' knowledge, thus bearing out Joseph’s own contention: I was surely stolen from the land of the Hebrews (40:15). When Reuben didn’t find him in the pit, they all thought an evil beast had consumed him. They did not lie to their father. Had they really sold him, they would have searched every country in an effort to trace whether he was alive or dead.
