The Crusade was created as a tribute song to Iron Maiden's Aces High.
The live footage used in the video is from London's long-established live music venue THE UNDERWORLD, just six months after their major label debut.
It’s not The Underworld. I have that gig on video. This is Tokyo. That’s why all the band members arrive separately, and on foot.

Great react TR! I'll never get bored of your LB reactions and love the honesty! I'm a fan of Dickinson, Halford, Helloween, etc...but can't get into most power metal (e.g., Sabaton, Hammerfall, Powerwolf). Lovebites is on a whole other level for me, like you said, the technical proficiency they're playing; at that speed is nauseating. That's what draws me to them. Their skill level is off the charts. I would consider them an underdog, competing in a historically male-dominated genre. Not to mention the power they generate and their stamina, for their size is amazing. These are just my subjective opinions. Lastly, their beauty is icing on the cake. To play and look like they do is unfair. 🤣🤘🐺

It is really good. Actually got a like from Haruna when I said so on Twitter, so I'm really pleased.
At the time, Haruna(Dr) told the interviewer that "The Crusade" is the most intense song on the album, so he always gets into it before playing it so that he can keep the beat until the end.
Asami (Vo) said in an interview that "The Crusade" is the most intense song on the album, so he, like Haruna (Dr), always gets into it before singing.

BAND COMPOSER GODDESS. BABE GODDESS. LMAO. Think she's a goddess to me. Japan is where music IS now QUEEN SU & GODDESSES MIYAKO & SAKI (NEMOPHILA). METAL IS IN GOOD HANDS FOR THE MOMENT. Nice Reaction. I also love the 'creation' scenes in this one of the girls working in the Studio. The Slo-Mo and overlay shots are nice too. About the Ladies - Mi-Ya: You will love Miyako's Channel. She is so friendly and smiley and giving to her fans it really exposes the Ice Queen act on stage. She is called Mi-Ya by her hardcore fans - she was listed as 'support guitarist' Mi-Ya on their recordings until she committed to Lovebites in late summer of 2017. Her earlier bands are A Drop of Joker, 21g, and Sonic Lover Reckless. She is also a recording engineer in her studio, a Star Wars geek with 2 animatronic droids she built on camera (they live on top of her grand piano), has a dog named Wampa, a python, an owl, and a 1yr old human - (also _sadly_ a Husband🙂).
you are doing a great job with these reactions 👍. I would like to let you know that as you get through the official Music Videos there is one particular video “Golden Destination” this video does tend to get blocked (by Dragonforce’s label) because of video footage of Herman Lee in a dress during some BTS moments, now there are ways to get around the block like frequent pauses and blurred images over the MV after the initial recording of your reaction. But I have to say just like “The Crusade” - “Golden Destination” is like a documentary about LOVEBITES UK tour with lots of BTS footage
well asami and Miyako have a kid now. so they are most tlikely busy being a mother. Midory is a Bodybuilder professionally i believe. and not sure about Haruna. And miho still in this one. is busy with other music projects. and Fami their new bass player who is 20 years old the youngerst of the group is probably still being a young woman who plays in an amazing band and is focusing on that for now. And in their free time or in their time they write music together. i think thats about it what they are doing.

@@ThunderRooster These parts 1&2 are excellent with Marty Friedman (formerly of Megadeth) on his TV show, Rock Fujiyama and have added subs, a bit difficult to read as they are over the embedded Japanese subs, but worth the effort.
Also, note that 'part2' with "&t+309s" at the end will skip ahead to 5min9seconds into vid so you will want to back it up to the start.

Asami does true heavy metal vocals in this one. One of my top 10 Lovebites songs. Great Iron Maiden feel, my other most favorite band. It's a tribute to Aces High.

When they launched their "Set the world on fire" album here on youtube via e-concert in 2022, i was lucky enough to watch together with other 10k people. Because of the 'rona the ladies were'nt allowed to have an audience in the hall, but they played it perfect for the audience like it was a real show. The song line up was amazing and when that "M.D.O." came, the chat exploded.
And regarding power-metal and male vocalists singing not high, i suggest you jump the SABATON rabbit hole. It's a deep one as well and is metal af.

Yeah power metal is definitely not my thing either. I mean there are some really good power metal songs out there, but I generally don't listen to them much nor seek out that genre either. It just doesn't do it for me. I like slower music much more. Fast beat music such as that is harder to keep up with and, as weird as it sounds, exhausting to try lol I like to listen to music and relax. Not write a metal Shakespeare marathon😂 it makes sense in my head lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's all about the snare. If the snare was hit half as many times, even that might have changed my perspective.
