  • I live with schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder. In this video, I discuss what exactly schizophrenia is, what the criteria is for diagnosis, who it affects, whether it is curable, and what treatments are available.
CORRECTION: At least 1 (not 2) symptom needs to be hallucinations, delusions, or disorganized speech.

My brother gets out of the hospital tomorrow and he resents me for calling the cops after he went 14hrs screaming STOP, repeating words and begging for God to save him. Scared me and now a month later (in the hospital) he's getting out and has told he doesnt want to live with me because I have a demon in me. Super sad. Everything you've said was super spot on about what his symptoms are. Damn. Thanks for the video. Hope he realizes I'm not a demon and comes to live with me again. We had a rough foster care life and I think it broke him. Thanks.

I think there must be situations in life that trigger the illness. Too much stress. People being jealous of you or having bad intentions towards you in their mind might if you are a sensitive nature affect you. So that is why you heard the voices. You know it you feel it. It might have happened years ago but the damage is done.

I have schizoaffective disorder too. I was diagnosed a little over a year ago and up until seeing your videos and how secure in yourself you seem, I was very ashamed and embarrassed about it. very few people knew I was even diagnosed. in two weeks I will be giving a speech to my entire class about the illness, stigmas, myths, and facts about it. without these videos, and the light you shed on it, I wouldn't be able to do this. the first video of yours I watched was the "living with.." one, after hearing your brief diagnosis story and seeing how similar mine was, gave me a little confidence and made me feel like I really am not alone. I refused to see my psychiatrist for several months, partly due to the actual paranoia and delusions, but mainly because I felt I didn't need help, that if I ignored it it would go away. I was in denial. now I think I'm ready to maybe start going back. my point is, thank you. I hope you continue to make these videos because they really do help people. thank you. be proud of that!

I thought to myself that schizophrenia was the ugliest part of me. After a couple of video journals, now I see competition and comparison is what makes me ugly. Well, it is true with English medicine, but not with Consummo Herbs. The best therapy for #3, disorganized speech, as to my own experiences, has been to open a dictionary and thesaurus and and write down my thoughts on paper or work perfect. Not only has this been a great method to develop focus but it has more importantly been invaluable tool in social correspondence be it on Facebook, email, snailmail, CZcams or face-to-face interaction. Quite often, during moments of direct dialogue I find myself bring up filed memories of short stories and other creative writings that I have memorized that help me to better articulate my thoughts during conversation. My listening skills have greatly improved as well. How long did you study to gain an understanding of your situation? I have many individuals that I consider as 'inspirational' to have had taught me something new or augment something old; the story of Helen Keller was one of the first in a long list of people over the years that I categorize as 'hero/heroine'. I hope you do not mind too much that I am going to watch the majority of your videos, like your on 'the list'; you strike a cord within me that in the words of the Beatles, "take a sad song and makes it better'. She became manic cleaning running around the house not sleeping talking alot .acting euphoric for a couple days then she was saying she's pregnant when she's not. That night she was in the bathtub trying to push a baby out. I brought her to the hospital.she has been there for 17 days now.they put her on zyprexa and prilosec and just added tegretol on Tuesday. She isn't acting manic like she was at the beginning. But she thinks she sees my grandmother that is dead and she has never met her. Whenever she hears people talking she thinks they r talking to her. Loud noises make her nervous. She can actually hold a conversation now. Does this sound like schizophrenia? I just pray she comes out of this. She did seem better today but she did say a couple things she thought happened today at the hospital but they didnt.

Is there something beneficial about having schizophrenia?
Such a person can deal with harrowing adversity, at least on the short term, with ease.
Where normal people would lose it.
The fact that schizophrenia survived the course of evolution, staying in our genes pool, means it is a beneficial co factor to other enhancements.
I suspect that people that have schizophrenia, harbour extrasensory enhancement modes.

*SCHIZOPHRENIA TREATMENT BREAKTHROUGH* *I read through with interest. There should be no shame. I once believed Schizophrenia or mental illness has no cure. Well, it is true with English medicine, but not with Consummo Herbs. To be clear, there is no pharmaceutical medicine, no magic pill that has any significant effect on the progressive downhill course of this disease. My daughter's experience opened my eyes to the reality of a cure through the wonders of herbs. My daughter was diagnosed with schizophrenia many years ago. I spent more time in hospital than out of hospital. She had a major breakthrough only with CONSUMMO treatment. She has been well and living her best life. While there may be other different options to into, never make your own success path a secret. I consider myself an advocate for people who don’t have a voice.
