I can't take it I've tried so much . My PlayStation lags and freezes for like 5 minutes and crashes every game and even shuts completely off randomly . And then takes 30 minutes to actually turn on . Just for it to freeze again . I have the new software update installed , but it doesn't say that on safe mode . But when I try to update it in safe mode . It says an error occurred and then shuts off my ps4. EDIT : if anyone who replied comes back here I love you sm. I’ve been going thru mad depression lately feeling like no one wants to talk to me and I have no friends and ik this sounds dumb but everytime I come back to this comment I feel better because you all relate to me in some way and I feel at home in a way . I have an update, the problem has been fixed but I had to initialise my playstation. This means resetting factory settings. It's like a brand new PS4. One down side this is you lose all your save data but luckily I had cloud save data (ps plus) so I could redownload my save game. (If you'd like to ask me any questions go right ahead and I'll do my best to answer)

This error only appears for me on the Witcher 3 blood and wine dlc it started happening ever since the Storm the Castle mission. I followed a bunch of videos and nothing has worked so far.
If you're ps4 is 6 months old or more (depends on your place if it is clean) It need a internal cleaning or thermal paste like in pc. There is probably a dust/dirt inside that stopping the fan to spin properly. Updating the ps4 is not the problem or the new PS5 release. You're ps4 probably collecting dust internal. That's why it's freezing or crashing the game.
My Fallout 4 game has been sporadically freezing since I got it, a year after it came out. It amazes me that with about 80% memory open that it can come up with this error.

Having issues with cod modern warfare. Downloaded all dlc packs. Campaign starts but during cut scenes, the screen goes black and stays like that, closing app does not work. Did the database rebuild, now game goes black in both cut scene and game play. What can the issue be and how to resolve?
Great info, but unfortunately none of this worked for my system. I did realize that my console seemed a bit warmer than normal. I simply moved it to ensure better airflow, etc. and now works great with no further issues. Hope this may help others.
@@tineaa3587 I just moved it away from everything so airflow wasn’t being blocked, etc. Also stand it on its edge instead of laying flat. Still working fine.
Sometimes Crashing it is a normal thing for PS4 And sometimes is with the game you play always should Check is your game is up-to-date as well as updating your system can also help You could even try to turn the PS4 off for awhile and give it a temporary break and see if that works to

I was worried about my PS4 being so loud so i wanted to blow out the dust with an air compressor, but i forgot to take out the disc. the glitch started happening once i plugged it all back in. I also saw that the disc itself had a burn-like ring around the middle, so ill try to buy it digital since it has a discount now.
I'm having this issue with my Skyrim save file. I was playing it, and the the game crashed. Now I can still get to the main menu (and my wife's save file still works perfectly) but when I try to load my save file, I get to that loading screen for a few seconds but then the animation for it stops and the game crashes again. I have rebuilt the database already and it didn't help, guess I'll have to go for the final option although I think the file is corrupted somehow

IM 100% CONVINCED THAT COLDWAR, WAS DESIGNED TO BREAK ALL LAST GEN CONSOLES. I had never had problems or had to rebuild database before Coldwar. I have a problem with only gta 5. I tried cleaning the disk or checking for any damages or scratches, but nothing. Everytime i lunch gta 5 it takes a while to get past the loading screen but when you do everything i kinda glitchy and still loading, and if everything loads in you can play normally but then it will start to freeze randomly until it crashes. Rebuilt mine twice. It's still having issues. I even put my games on a external hd. There is no games saved on my ps4 any more. can play for a while. Then all of a sudden big lag, graphical glitches, seeing a blue line on the ground. Then either crash, or it gets better. Then crashes in a bit.

Guys to eveyone having a crash in game , just turn off the wifi and join the game . It worked with me , and if u wanna play online , just turn om the wifi after loading ( turn it off from ps4 settings)
@@RagdoIl just get someone to send you an invite before clicking on your Myplayer and once you in the park just sim the game that keeps giving you problems. That worked for me

You initlized your ps4 from safe mode? Did you do option 7 I believe which reinstall the software?

Everytime I play a game the frames freezes in the middle of a cut scene, never happened before until this year

Sometimes Crashing it is a normal thing for PS4 And sometimes is with the game you play always should Check is your game is up-to-date as well as updating your system can also help You could even try to turn the PS4 off for awhile and give it a temporary break and see if that works to

I was worried about my PS4 being so loud so i wanted to blow out the dust with an air compressor, but i forgot to take out the disc. the glitch started happening once i plugged it all back in. I also saw that the disc itself had a burn-like ring around the middle, so ill try to buy it digital since it has a discount now.
I'm having this issue with my Skyrim save file. I was playing it, and the the game crashed. Now I can still get to the main menu (and my wife's save file still works perfectly) but when I try to load my save file, I get to that loading screen for a few seconds but then the animation for it stops and the game crashes again. I have rebuilt the database already and it didn't help, guess I'll have to go for the final option although I think the file is corrupted somehow

IM 100% CONVINCED THAT COLDWAR, WAS DESIGNED TO BREAK ALL LAST GEN CONSOLES. I had never had problems or had to rebuild database before Coldwar. Also, I have a top of the line, 2in1 touchscreen laptop with keyboard. It runs every single call of duty game out, EXCEPT COLDWAR.... IMAGINE THAT, COINCIDENCE PERHAPS LMMFAO 🤣

I have a problem with only gta 5.
I tried cleaning the disk or checking for any damages or scratches, but nothing.
Everytime i lunch gta 5 it takes a while to get past the loading screen but when you do everything i kinda glitchy and still loading, and if everything loads in you can play normally but then it will start to freeze randomly until it crashes.
This only happens to me on gta, any idea on how to fix it?
For me its Spiderman, freezes in the first cut scene already and cant even play the game

Rebuilt mine twice. It's still having issues. I even put my games on a external hd. There is no games saved on my ps4 any more. can play for a while. Then all of a sudden big lag, graphical glitches, seeing a blue line on the ground. Then either crash, or it gets better. Then crashes in a bit.

Guys to eveyone having a crash in game , just turn off the wifi and join the game . It worked with me , and if u wanna play online , just turn om the wifi after loading ( turn it off from ps4 settings)
When im loading into 2k22 my career current gen it always comes up with error code ce-34878-0 on when the games loaded exactly 98-99%

@@RagdoIl just get someone to send you an invite before clicking on your Myplayer and once you in the park just sim the game that keeps giving you problems. That worked for me

Fkn brand new game and ps4 just got home and it just got downloading and when I open it it freezes loading up 2k22 then crashes my ps4 turning it off then when I turn it on it goes to a crash report screen then the ps4 comes on fine but when I click on this game it does it and every game works fine, at this point iv tried to clear the cache and make more storage room on the ps4 as of now I’m not comfortable rebuilding data base

Wow, it won't even rebuild the database. Says some files might be formatted differently. How can that be. I've changed nothing myself.
My problem is gta (online ps4) it froze (done it only once before) so I turned it off as that normally makes ok turned it back on then I get the error message soon as I try and get online, tried restarting it, done the rebuilt thing and still the error, I don't know of it's my ps4 or what, because that has never come up before
