Just a heads up guys, a 2007 USA Focus is NOT the same as a 2007 UK mk2 focus. USA didnt update to mk2 suspension for a couple more years. MK2s have different end links

Thanks for your video, I could prepare to change mine as well.
It is recommended to prepare with disc grinder, in case you have so rusty and fixed screws I had. I had to cut down the top of the screws to be able to remove the old stabilizers.

you can raise the control arm a bit more if need space. and there will be enough space to put the top bushing to tighten down. I didn't need to hold the top nut to tighten it.

I bought Volvo dealer OEM.. they were of plastic and not rubber as i have seen in other videos. Really expensive. 110 euro for two!
Looks really easy to replace. Mine is missing the bottom part on the left side. Looks like bolt head vanished :) so swaybar is inactive/disabled for now with lots of banging and clonking :)
No need to jack up the car or the tires? Swaybar not loaded?

I wouldn't have needed the elevator you used if you hadn't tightened the link on the other side.😅

  • @matthewalexandersayers4470

Silicon grease on bolt as it's between bushings; keep it from squeaking.

If you're getting under a car axle stands should ALWAYS be used 👍🏻
