U know what's crazy. Lauderhill is a paradise (money wise) compared to the slums of southeast Asia. But lauderhill has more murders. Slums of my fam in law country is more poor but safer Living up in pompano as a jitt I blamed violence/crime on poverty. Visiting my family in laws in southeast Asia I saw REAL poverty (no air conditioning, no running water, roads of mud, etc) but it was safe as hell Now I'm grown. I blame culture for 100% of violence. The west is a paradise. The hood could be heaven if people wanted it to be
You are correct, poverty has essentially nothing to do with crime. It is all culture and it just to happens that black people tend to have a much more violent culture where criminals are idolized.

If you want to really see where the criminals live and play Go out in Broward in the daytime and drive through some of the multi-family complexes and gated communities and check how many vehicles just sit around day and night They don't have jobs I'm talking drug dealers and human trafficking Some vehicles maybe guests of them Everyone else is at work or their family Some have four vehicles You can see the vehicles from the highway I saw one place in Lauderhill It looked like a shopping mall on Christmas Eve So many vehicles in the daylight The most beautiful places full of crime All races Coral Springs and even Plantation

Saw a lady get duct tape to a chair and beaten by some guys with guns who came in robbed everything in the apartment. And the very next day I saw somebod get jumped and robbed in the apartment complex since I was visiting family Wild. But I didn't fill out a place because I lived in a bad area in Orlando.
I always thought of Orlando as a touristy place, but I've heard that PINE HILLS aka crime hills is a real rough neighborhood, I lived in Seffner and Brandon half my life... and spent like 12 years in Broward County when I was in HS.... only went to OTOWN for leisure times with the fam as a kid.
