    I've been following you for a while, I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to make one of these! I got a hot coffee today, and almost burned myself because they didn't give me a sleeve. No more, I'm going to make a couple of them! Thank you for another great tutorial!

    I just ordered this pattern last night. And I searched for the video so I could watch it. I had stiff interfacing somewhere in my craft room so I went looking for it and decluttered where it was which was under my cutting table. Killed two birds with one stone, found my interfacing and organized under my cutting table. Can’t wait to start making them.

    Great project. I left one of the small ends open vs. the long bottom side for ease of sewing. plan to make lots more. Thanks for pattern.

    Hi there! Thanks for the template and video! SO excited to try this!! Do you think you could you use a couple layers of cut away stabilizer for the inside?🤔

    • @PinCutSew
      @PinCutSew  Před 6 měsíci +1

      You could! It won't be as stiff and cardboardy, but it should work fine.

    Ever try insul bright for the interior? I know it wouldn’t have the structure but it could help a little to buffer differing temps.

    Hi Nikki, I love your videos and my 6-yr old grandson loves watching them with me. We decided to make your coffee sleeves for his mother but the templates only print blank sheets. One link only has the fabric template. The other has both but neither will print. I tested that it is not my printer by trying other sites but it is just yours that I can't print. Hope you can help me out. We also plan to make book sleeves and markers after this. Thanks for the great ideas.

    The pages to the Amazon links are in Spanish, just fyi. I use an iPhone and was able to click on the three dots on right side of page (in Chrome) and choose Translate so easy to change if needed. Just letting you know:)

    This reminds me of cake pan cozies I've seen, that help your cakes bake more evenly and less domed. You soak them in water (and wring out) before putting onto your cake pan and baking as usual. Obviously you'd want to use 100% cotton fabric and batting, never polyester for this.

    Hi Nikki, What a cute little project! I’m taking lessons now and want to try making this! Can you tell me what size/width of Velcro is required? Thanks so much! 😊

    • @PinCutSew
      @PinCutSew  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi there! The Velcro only comes in 1” widths. Make sure you get the sew in kind! The sticky kind won’t work, it will just gum up under your needle.

    Could I put insulbrite in this? My hands still get cold and hot from the fabric ones, I am wondering if I can stick some in there too. Might make it a lot thicker. Im going to try this but increase the pattern an extra half edge on perimeters just to make sure it fits.

    After the main part is sewn, it is quite a bit smaller than the pattern. The fabric is pretty tight to the peltex. Yours looks to be just about the same as the pattern size. What am I doing wrong? I watched several times and am doing what you’re doing! Thanks.

    • @PinCutSew
