It is really so exhilarating watching a certified Doctor/Dermatologist shopping and reviewing products, commenting their pros and cons and also their ingredients, which may or not be harmful to some people according to their skin sensitivity. Thanks again for this wonderful costco excursion and love from Greece. Have a brilliant day.
Yay shop with me! Was at Dr yesterday and I asked a lady who skin was dewy and glowing what she used. She said, I use only Avene skincare and stopped using make up now. And then said, you should watch Dr. Dray on CZcams, sheâs the best!
AwwwâŠthank you so much
Dr. Dray is the bomb. Welcome to her page. You are going to love it. I am obsessed with healthy skincare and nutrition. Treat your body right. đ
Avene or Aveeno? These are 2 different brands
@@svgilkog8181 Avene đ

Dr. Dray, could you please make a video all about coffee? Your most loved&hated brands, your preference on roast, and everything else you feel like sharing on the topic. You switched me to French press from my long running habit of daily trips to Starbucks and Iâm never going back. You continue to hell me save money and get more for what I pay! â€
The Sekkisei cleansing oil is amazing. Itâs really good for 10oz for $23 and smells very nice. The brandâs whole marketing thing is that they use traditional Japanese medicine and herbs so it smells herbily but itâs pleasant.
The kose cleansing oil in the purple bottle stings my eyes but the Sekkisei doesnât it case anyone was wondering. Also it cleans much better than the DHC
I have about 10 beauty blenders and I wash the with my towels at 90 degrees in washing machine together with my towels. I always take a fresh blender every morning. Have used same blenders for about 2-3 years now. They damage a lot less in the machine. The blender I washed by hands aged faster.
I owe you everything, I used to listed to the fear mongers and ended up with allergic contact dermatitis around my eyes. I now follow your advice and my skin never felt and looked better.
Yay Costco! I love shop-with-me vids at Costco. I don't have a membership so I can live vicariously thru these videos. đ I will get a membership one of these days đ€đœđ
Thanks for watching
Years ago my gynecologist told me to stop using cleansing wipes because they irritated my skin. She told me to only use fragrance free baby wipes for sensitive skin. Also, I have used olive oil soap for years, because it doesnât dry out my skin.
I snagged the Aveeno Oat Moisturizer a few weeks ago. Can't wait to try it when I finish my Neutrogena water gel. I also stocked up on the Neutrogena Retinol 24 Peptide when it was on sale. I also just grabbed a Lubriderm set. A small 6oz and 2 24 oz pumps for just about 15.00!
I personally love the aquaphor lip balm. The only lip product that doesnât make my drier with constant use
No me thinking the actor Jack Black was shopping at Costco when Dr Dray mentioned the sunscreen đ
My mom sent me 10 tubs of white petroleum jelly. I love layering my toners, applying adapalene, and then sealing it all in with petroelum jelly. My skin definitely feels a lot softer and feels more supple. My skin tone seems far more even and brighter too.

Love the shop with me videos. I really like the Monday brand shampoo/conditioner, leaves my hair very soft. I'm with you on the lash extensions, they can look nice but so many are over the top and just look ridiculous.
i love the venus razors. I don't care about the scent, they are just really convenient. I like the coconut ones.
I do like the Aquaphor lip repair stick - moisturizing, not sticky, and lasts
You can just throw your makeup sponges in a lingerie laundry bag to wash in the washing machine. Also, the original Neutrogena Rainbath is a much better buy just b/c of the beautiful fragrance as opposed to the cloying fragrances of those other "flavors." The 40oz. bottle lasts forever and $18 is a great buy.
Loved this video, Dr. Dray! Thanks so much for speaking out about the fear mongering by the EWG, especially regarding the needlessly maligned parabens. Would love a video on hygral fatigue at some point! Thanks for all you do!
the aquaphor lip repair stick is awesome! i use the kind with SPF 30 in it, really effective at keeping my lips moisturized throughout the day and application is so easy because it's just a twisty stick
I LOVE the aveeno oat gel and obsessed with the texture. I purchased like 6 packs from costco since the sales price is unreal. Only thing is that I wish it contains ceramides. My new fav ceramide lotion is the Byoma gel cream, so I combine both to get everything I want. I find applying the aveeno oat gel after any moisurizer takes away that slightly think/sticky feeling. That is another reason I love the oat gel, unilke other moisurizers, it dries down so light without that coated thick feeling you get with other moisurizers.
The Aquaphor lip treatment stick is my favorite lip balm stick. There's an SPF version, too.
According to the CVS website, their dupe of Amlactin body lotion is $1.74 per ounce.
With the large lense wipes, after I clean my glasses I like to go ahead and clean the screen on my phone. I feel like at least that way I'm getting 2 uses out of 1 wipe so it feels like less is wasted.
Makeup erasers are awesome but they are made of microfiber minky fleece. You can buy it at a craft store. It's like the same thing. The little fibers pull makeup off of you because of the tiny hair ends of the plastic plus maybe some static charge stuff going on, (similar to how gecko feet stick to glass) between makeup and the polyester. But if you don't like plastic, just use a cotton face cloth.
Yay! Costco!!! I recently bought the Aveeno. Great price for something I use every day. Gotta love Costco. Appreciated your thoughts and valuable info on the skin and hair care. Thanks so much. Happy Tuesday, Dr Dray. I hope you have a lovely evening. đ
I did too! And I think I got the 2 for like $16! It was a deal! I'm really liking it!
Can you please make a skincare line free of niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, squalene, and any oils? This would be truly groundbreaking for people people with oily skin, breakouts, and sensitivity. Iâm sensitive to these ingredients and youâre the only skincare influencer Iâve seen mention that certain people are sensitive to these ingredients.
I am also allergic to hyaluronic acid.đż It stings my face, turns red and burns, gets into an alert state, đšquestions what will happen if I use âretinol creamđ„Ž
Speaking of the oil glands, Please speak to the tretinoin and other ingredients that irritate. Also, I have found the opti-wipes a miracle after using oil to take off makeup.
I use aveeno lotion for the face. The dimethicone helps to minimize my oiliness. No breakouts for me, but I use a bha serum, so that might be the reason.
Iâve tried the aquaphor lip repair stick and I love it. Itâs moisturizing and it doesnât leave the lips overly shiny, which I personally donât like.
I picked up 2 packs of the Aveeno oat gel moisturizer from Costco. Great price for a great product! Now Iâm stocked up for the winter. đ
Edit: AlsoâŠIn case anyone was wonderingâŠthe Neutrogena Hydro Boost moisturizer is the same texture as the Aveeno oat gel, but without the oat. My dry skin loves the oat formula a little more.
You put me onto the Aveeno Oat Gel moisturizer and it has saved my face during Accutane â€â€â€
Yes, my eye doctor advises to only use dry eye drops that have no preservatives. The single use ones are more hygienic.
I hate lash extensions; they mostly look soooo fake! Love your accurate and helpful information!
I love their lip repair stick! I wish cera ve would come out with one like that đź
You pronounced it almost perfectlyđSekkisei is Kose's high-quality brand and softymo is a much cheaper option for me, so if both brands are sold inexpensively in the US, I'd definitely choose Sekkisei.
The Am Lactin has really helped my skin!
Used Lumify for about 2 years, until it stopped working & my eyes were constantly red! Quit cold turkey, just using single-use saline as needed ... feels/looks 100% better, plus that stuff was expensive! Took about a week to get in balance, but so glad to stop. đđ
Same thing happened to me! I loved it but started causing more redness.
Thank you for the video. I use the Aveeno calm and restore for an evening moisturizer. That's a great sales price. I got on Amazon one for $18.
It is a good deal đ
I had to stop using my microfiber cleansing cloths due to my rosacea, I noticed I would get small red capillary spots near my eyes and even if I used gently it worsened my sensitive skin. My derma said not to use anymore and he was right. Glad you mentioned!
I use the Aquaphor lip repair thatâs in a small tube. I love it. I feel it works just like CeraVe Healing Ointment but itâs travel-friendly and just a little thinner so itâs easier to get out of the tube. Iâve never tried the tiny tube of CeraVe Healing Ointment - I think when I priced them the Aquaphor lip one was cheaper. Also never tried Aquaphor in stick form.
I actually use the aquaphobia lip repair balm (stick) and love it! But during the winter months I actually use it and then put the CeraVe healing ointment over it at night to keep my lips from drying out while I sleep. It's a great combo.
I'm using the aquaphor lip stick as my primary lip balm right now and I love it. I even use it as a part of my night time routine. The beeswax makes it feel a little heavier and really seals in the moisture after applying some lotion to my lips.
I love it during the day, but I've discovered that I prefer Dr. Dray's beloved CeraVe Healing Ointment at night.
I actually donât like the lip stick as much as the original ointment. I wish they would just put the ointment in a tube similar to the spf version they have. The spf version does not taste good and itâs too thin for me!
I use both Aquaphor products; the healing ointment and the lip treatment, which is my favorite lip balm. I wash my beauty sponges after every single use, I just use a fragrance free cleanser and warm water. đ I'm with you on the fragranced, moisture strip on razors sold for women. Why?? I have sensitive skin and am allergic to skincare products with fragrance. It's impossible to find razors without that gummy strip. âč Thanks for taking us along, Costco shopping! đ
I buy men's razors to avoid the moisture strips.
@@hollie611 Men's razors have the strip too, they're just not as fragranced. I'm also more prone to nicks and cuts when using them. It's a challenge. đ
@@helpfulnatural I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you find something that works for you
The Jack Black Turbo Wash is my favorite body wash for my husband. It smells SO GOOD!
Yes love the Aveeno calm & restore moisturizer. It's one of my fav. Never ran into pilling. I like the Jack black SPF too.
Dr Dray I am soooo SOO glad that I listened to u on the Cerave healing ointment vs the Aquaphor. at first I was using the aquaphor and it was okay with me but when I got my first tattoo I happened to have the Cerave healing ointment for babies and had started using it on my fresh tattoo instead of the aquaphor. it helped my tattoo heal SO well itâs looking so vibrant and nice. thank you!!!
I love the Aveeno calm & restore oat gel moisturizer! Iâve repurchased it several times already.
Me too except I only bought one so far but when I first tried it; I was shocked how nice it felt. I have very dry skin now because of my adapalane gel, but this helped lock in my moisture while not being heavy. The texture is so nice. And it doesnât have that bad fragrance free scent lol. Itâs really a game changer
That lip balm is the best Iâve ever used I prefer it over leneige
I am hooked on CeraVe Healing Balm and due to the huge tube Iâve squeezed it into a silver pill box I bought in Italy. Now Iâm never without it.
Good afternoon Dr. Dray. Excellent video with superlative production values and content. Thanks for sharing. Whenever I see those commercials encouraging me to "Get My Docs in a Row," you're the one I think of. That being said, have a wonderful Tuesday.
Thank you SO much for the mini Lumify eye drops review! My mom's been obsessed with them and shared me a pack and I wasn't confident they'd work or not lol
I use the both the regular aquaphor lip balm stick and the one with spf in it. They are both nice.
I got the Aveeno gel moisturizer per your recs, it's a bit dry for San Francisco currently but maybe in the summer!
'colder weather' dray says, while living in texas.
the aquaphor lip repair stick is my absolute favorite lip balm !
When eyelash extensions or even just glue on lashes started to be a thing, people didnât go overboard and tried to at least make it look like their real lashes were just really long. Now they are just obviously fake and doesnât in my opinion go every day attire. They used to be glam or for dressing up.
The Costco 5min from my house is opening in 2wks. I've basically got a countdown going the way my kids do for Christmas, and they just don't get it. đ
That's dangerous đ
I bought 3 packs of the Aveeno moisturizer when it was on sale đđ gotta stock up!
The sponge...
Reminds me of Elaine in Seinfeld đ
As a hairstylist I have nearly 17 years I highly recommend caring about your hair more and using some higher end products. If you color your hair at all I think Olaplex is a wonderful option. Itâs concentrated so a little bit goes a long way and it is so great for the overall health of your hair. But really, Pantene or suave is no different than using nicely fragrance hand soap on your hair. Itâs the same reason you wouldnât recommend using dawn on your face.
Agreed.
I bought 3 two packs of the aveeno, LOVE!
I seriously need to use up the stuff that I have purchased from your other generous videos, and btw, all that you have suggested are working fabulously, well, for me, anyway..lolâŠ.busy day for me, and you are looking fabulous, as always, Doc. đ
Can you make a video about the use of petrolatum and why the negative buzz about it? Why is it good to use and so forth? Thanks for the thorough videos!
I have a few videos on this
Hi Dr Dray Yay a shop with me video great to be here have a nice dayâ€

Omg yes I agree about the lashes my daughter came home with huge lashes I thought they looked like spider's đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł of course I told her they look beautiful đ€đ
Make up eraser clothes are great for really getting the makeup off, including eyemakeup. They are very soft.
Please do a full shopping look and explore at Costco. Then pop into Sam's club and do it there too!!!
Love shop with me videos. So much fun !!!
hahaha I'm new to your channel and i love it so much!! you also are hilarious without even trying haha
TY for clarifying the paraban fear mongering issue
Yeah, I saw the shorts of you telling Bobby no no no. LOL I love it. Thank you I do enjoy Costco shopping.
Thank you for taking us shopping again!đ„°
I love jack blacks spf lip balm
Oh, good to see this I have an ongoing Costco list, will add some of these to the list. Good to see the Aveeno is on Sale. i do like your Costco shopping vids because it isn't elite brands I've never seen or heard of, and I don't have to online order anything and hope I like it.
I saw a Nassif MD product on the shelf. I was hoping you would have reviewed it. Heâs the Dr from the tv show Botched. He also sells his line on HSN. Iâve tried his cleanser. Itâs very nice!
Thatâs what I was hoping too!!! I bought some and I actually like it but wanted to hear what her thoughts on it were.
Maybe next time! Lol
I love the hair mask in box dyes too ( which I use) Always wondered where to buy. I use a cheap and good Fructis one which is close. Shall look at Pantene. Thanks for all these great vids
my question for you is " can salicylic acid cream get rid of skin tags"? I just watched a dr berg talking about it and that it works, what are your thoughts?
Houston, I have a question: is it ok to use two phase eye make up remover (Maybelline) as the first step of a double cleanse of the facial skin? with this method I see much more residue and sunscreen on the cotton pad than with CeraVe cleansing oil as the first product. Thanks and happy Tuesday!đșđșđș
@Trinity M I was wondering if something dedicated for removing waterproof mascara was beneficial ingredientwise for daily use on the whole face, because I don't use that much other makeup anyway. But yes, at least I can see more grime of the day come off and this at least feels good.
I went to Costco today. Sadly, the Aveeno calm and restore moisturizer was not on sale here in Illinois
It's snowing here and I am at this very moment realizing I need to stock up on aquaphor/knock-offs, as my 5 layers of very good moisturizers (incl 2 50spf sunscreens & applied over pga serum) all disappeared when walking the dog ...it's time to start seriously sealing everything in lol!
I agree about the lashes, some ppl look just funny
Love the shop with me videos †Have a nice day đč
This popped in my search recommendations while searching for Kirkland signature hoodie videos. Dr. Dray always staying on top of the trends! I wonder if the coconut/baobab seed oil shampoo is good for African hair since baobab is the savannah tree.. so you'd think it might work on most people in just varying amounts.
I got lash extension before my wedding in preparation for my wedding. I ended up being so allergic to the glue. It took a while to figure out and the doctors kept putting me on prednisone because my reactions was so bad. But we are 100% positive it was the lash glue. I waited 3 months after the last reaction. Then got them in one corner of one eye and got a massive reaction.
Loved that you also talked about dry eyes & all the products related to it. You are so knowledgeable. I always feel like i can trust the information you put out. Thank you!
Hi Dr Dray đ just sharing an experience with the Monday shampoo. For me it was a waste of money. It somehow ended up being very drying for my hair and irritated my scalp like no other. Glad you pointed the presence of methylisothiazolinone in Pantene! I think they're reformulating some of their products in Europe at least to exclude it, but it may just be the odd batch. In that line of thoughts I recently changed my dishwashing liquid and although it was for sensitive skin I didn't look well at the ingredients where they've sneakily added both methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone under everything else đ€Šđ»ââïžneedless to say it's very irritating.
My problem with the Eos lip balm is while I like the fruit flavor, if I put it on the corners of my mouth, when I wake up in the morning I find the corners swollen and cracked. I think itâs the citric acid in the Ingredients.
Thank you for the quality content, Dr. Dray!†I use the Aveeno ultra calming nourishing night cream. Do you think the Aveeno that Costco carries is a good substitute? I have dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin. This would be a better deal. Thank you for your help!
Iâve used both those Aveeno products. I actually like the Calm & Restore better than the Ultra Calming. The Calm & Restore is lighter weight but feels like I get more moisturize from it. But it doesnât have ceramides in it, which the Ultra Calming night cream does. My solution is to add in some of the Cerave gel oil that has 5 ceramides every now & again. The price of the Calm & Restore at Costco canât be beat, but Iâve purchased a little trial size when I flew for vacation (Meijer? Target? Amazon? I canât remember now) so you could get that to try for a week or maybe two before you invest in Costco sized amounts! For reference, I have extremely sensitive skin, with blackheads, keratosis pilaris & eczema, and my face can get oily in my t-zone (ugh, pick a lane face- either oily & prone to blackheads/acne or dry skin conditions like eczema & KP, but I guess what it all adds up to is impaired skin barrier as a core issue).
Yes having rosacea face cloths even soft can cause a real flareup for some!
Yes! I only use my hands for cleansing and gently pat dry with a fresh facecloth.
Yayy for Costco and dray! Happy Tuesday Dr dray and peeps đ„°đ€©đ„ł
Happy Tuesday
I'm finishing a sekeisei bottle of cleansing oil and I find it drying and it doesn't remove mascara (non-waterproof) very well. For reference I'm 61 years old with normal skin.
The Refresh for eyes are really great!
I don't know about in the US, but here in Canada, I can't use Aveeno products because so many of their items have citric acid. I'm sure it's harmless, and probably used just as a pH stabilizer, but it irritates and burns my skin something terrible. Whenever I've used any skin care item with citric acid, my skin suffers.
Interestingly, I also get an upset stomach if I consume food/drinks with citric acid.
Hi Dr Dray, As always, thank you for this Costco video! I wish I had a membership. I wanted to ask if you could please review the Perricone MD brand how you did with Clinique? The wrinkle cure is what got me interested in skincare but now I see incongruence between what that book states and what you teach. Thank you for your time!
She's reviewed some Perricone MD products as well as some Clinique.
@@db-gb5xi I know. That's not what I'm requesting.
