Refs Are Still Trash Sadly, Going To Be A Long Season!
~I am pinning comments again so be sure to comment on any videos old or New and your comment might be on top of the rest! Good Luck!
It's kind of impressive that even though there were multiple clearly terrible calls my reaction was, "Huh, seems a lot better than last year so far".
Same I was expecting a lot worse, and kinda agreed with some of the non-calls.
Ehhhh, don't get to ahead of yourself just yet. It's only been 2 weeks (the video is from week 2. (It's Sunday, the end of week 3 now, lol.) But, we still have a lonng season ahead of us. You'll have to wait until like week 7-8 to find out if the refs are gunna be better than last year. That's around the time the refs tend to start getting lazy and make or miss bad calls. Idk if it's because the NFL season has been in motion for a few weeks already and they just don't care anymore and start to get over it and quit paying attention. Or if it's because they just get to comfortable and try to control and determine the outcome of the game for whatever reason. But, regardless.. well find out around week 7-8 if the refs are getting better or worse from last year. That's around the time you can start making pretty solid predictions of how the rest of the season will go, lmfao.
I swear the worst type of bad call is when the refs call a play dead too early and they can’t do shit about it. Makes my blood boil when they could just let it play out and then review when they know they’re gonna have 45 camera angles
Bro that shit is so fucking annoying. There’s a million cameras and reviews, just keep the fucking play going, it can literally ALWAYS be changed if they don’t blow it dead
Don’t you dare bring logic into this, sir
hey stop ur scaring the script writers
Like, every turnover is automatically reviewed anyway.
The hell's the point of blowing the whistle?
thats what happened in jets vs bills jets recovered a fumble but it was ruled dead
I think i can speak for most bills fans when i say none of us care about that non-tripping call. Jets were in FG range anyways, just put me out my misery
A 15 would've made that at the 40. You're probably talking 50+ at that point.
And then, top of that, you had a block in the back on the punter not called.
you want your misery to be put to an end for week 1?
I don't think he meant to trip him. The defender 5ried to jump over the block which leads to that looking like a trip. That's just me tho.
Not only was it unintentional, the dude was already gonna fall anyways, so I feel like calling it would be outside of the spirit of the rule.
I dont see how that's tripping all he did was dive in front of him to block his path to the returner. Is that not called a cut block?
The Refs in that Titans vs Saints game we’re the worst out of all
New Orleans definitely had that home cooking for the refs
@@frostywarrior4649 there war also calls weird calls against the saints/ non calls. Refs are just so fucking garbage in the nfl.
not only do they not overturn the call, they missed a hold on the left tackle on the exact same play, but the nfl won’t do anything about any of this despite how ridiculously unfair it is
@@caaam_37 Just remember, the NFL is legally classified as entertainment rather than a sport.
Just like the WWE.
It's all rigged
Taylor was 2 yards off the line the whole game almost. Every formation he was that far back in was illegal.
So is every other tackle in the league when you're pass protecting
@@ThePorkbarrel It's an illegal formation -- and that's why they're going to Point of Emphasis it this week.
It wasnt a problem when he was with the jaguars but now since he's with the chiefs he's getting called just proves everyone and the league hate the chiefs the chiefs have a target on their backs oh well I love winning superbowls Go Chiefs !!!
@@dylanseals8436 its because the chiefs get alot more air time than the jags do so its more in the spot light.... wear a red foil hat lately
@@worthless4194 hmm not this week yet lol
The TN/NO refs were TERRIBLE.
And the refs in the KC game letting Taylor line up in the backfield as a lineman all damn game. Not to mention at least a handful of false starts that weren't called.
@@sinocte funny that KC still took the L
@@zach23izeToney*
How did the refs miss that false start from the chiefs player
They were missing it all game long. He only got called once throughout the game.
Chiefs ----💰------> Refs
@@kevinstull8552ok? They still won😂
@@PeanutButterAndJellyBros😐
@@PeanutButterAndJellyBroswant some cheese and crackers with that whine?
Someone in NY had money on the saints.
The Carr fumble was absolutely ludicrous.
Same fumble that cost the titans the season
A trip into a chop block is still a chop block. That's like saying well he didn't mean to grab the facemask! So? He still did it.
Exactly, when the running back puts his head down in the middle of a proper tackle, its real easy to get a finger sruck in a bar of a facemask. Real painful too
That fumble on Carr... the only reason they kept the call was to not make them look bad for blowing it dead. Wow.
And they let the jags win the division with that same thing
Idk seems like the right call to me. The ball traveled forward 10 yards down the field. If a Saints player caught it in the air that’s going to be +10 yards passing for Carr and not a fumble / fumble recovery for the receiver.
@@CrazeReactsOfficial , which is why all sports leagues, and politically motivated educational systems, workplaces, and institutions, all need to be disbanded until people can be mature, fair, and righteous adults. I could honestly care less if it causes financial chaos and political upheaval, as humanity is already on that inevitable path due to its evil anyway...you all brought this on yourselves.
And budleewiser comes back with a banger! The refs though... not so much 😬
Was a relatively “good” week for refs. There were just a few roughing the passer, what’s a miracle. But that titans’ fumble denied was awkward. I don’t know why stop the play if you have replays to change decision
The call was correct. The heel of Carr's hand pushed the ball forward. It was an incomplete pass
@@kingfish4242if that was correct dobbs didn’t fumble last year.
@@kingfish4242 So . . . when a player fumbles the ball while reaching for the goal line it should actually be considered a forward pass instead of a touchback?
@@kingfish4242 the ball was loose before his hand was going forward
@@kingfish4242 It doesn't matter if you manage to smack the ball forward. They even state it in the video "Is Derik Carr pushing a loose ball forward"
If simply hitting it forward disqualifies it as a fumble, then there is no such thing as a forward fumble. You can't control the ball with the heel of your hand, matter of fact if that's your primary argument, then it was without a doubt loose.
These comps always get my blood pressure going, but then again I’m a Giants fan it can’t get any higher this week
Bears & Panthers fan. Cheers 🍻
@@CarolinaKvngpin fam the giants got killed 40-0 in home on their 9/11 memorial game
@@jeremiahfyan That does indeed sting but at least the Giants have a SB in “recent” memory. Neither of my squads do. They’ve both been and they’ve both lost
I watched the Cowboys vs. Giants game. At 26-0, that's when I stopped watching.
I've missed these videos. So glad there back
0:50 I'm not a jets or bills fan but how is that tripping? All he did was dive in front of him to block the defenders path to the returner. I dont see how diving in front of a guy is tripping I thought that was called a cut block
I'm a Bills fan and I didn't think it was a trip when I saw it in real time. Even watching it 10 times in slow motion I think a penalty would have been a marginal call at best.
I’m a Packers fan that had zero rooting interest in the game (just watched it because it was on TV) and I didn’t think it was a trip either. To me, it just looked like the blocker missed and the defender needing to do something desperate, leaped through the leg of the blocker that went by him. It certainly didn’t seem like an “intentional leg whip,” it just seemed like both the blocker and defender leaped and they both missed.
It's because as soon as you swing your leg and hit an opposing players leg that causes a fall the call is tripping. Yes the Bills player is jumping however you'll see the Jets players leg swing and alter the Bills player ability to keep his legs under himself. Granted I think the earlier OPI on Diggs in regulation against Gardner was a much worse call that even Peyton, Eli, and Fitzpatrick all said was a bogus call.
Doesn't matter if it was tripping or not. They're not going to call that. 9/11 in New York. That return is how it was scripted for Jets to win.
What I still don't understand is when and why the hell they came up with that tripping penalty in the NFL.
Officials don't have any integrity!!!!!!
First Jets play: That's not a trip, he's attempting a block.
Scripted ending. 9/11 New York. Look how terrible Bills special teams was, especially #8
Yeah I don't know what the guy is supposed to do. Is he supposed to make is legs not follow his body?
Full-time refs and better playing surfaces for players. If the NFL is serious about player safety, they would invest in these 2 things.
The placement at the 1 is correct. It's that the Panthers cannot gain an advantage by their foul -- both teams have enforceable 15 yard penalties, so both are in fact enforced for 15 yards. They cancel each other out, but do not offset. 1st down at the spot.
I think it’s because the rule itself is obscure. Both penalties were legitimate, so the call is correct, but it rarely happens.
Refs want to be a part of the show instead of simply doing their job.
Been saying it forever. If you want better refs, take them off tv. Don’t let them become celebrities.
I umpired Little League baseball so I’m not comparing myself to pros. It’s a tough job. But you know you’re a good ref when everyone watching doesn’t know your name. I’m looking at you Carl Schaffers! (Salty Eagles fan here)
5:30 was the correct call as silly as it may look
Same when someone barely grazes a QB after they slide... And *accidentally* not on purpose at all... Silly as it is they still call it. Lol😅
Glad to see you back old friend.
Good to be back 😊
"I dont wanna hear about your extension" had me rofl 🤣🤣
The chop block by stoll should absolutely still be called even if he tripped. Because he tripped over his own guy. His own team was completely responsible and he still chop blocked him. If a cb falls and brings down the wr it’s still pass interference
@@kurtpunchesthings2411it was eagles v patriots lmao
Looks like the referees are continuing to miss face masking penalties like they did last season. Plus, the officiating in the Titans vs Saints game was a total shit show
The nfl refs are dog crap clown shoes, but no one gets worse bs calls then the Raider do. No one has ever even come close
Exactly the stuff I’m looking for when I hop on YT. Good vids boss 🔥
holy the crazy amount of miss calls all in one week is crazy
Welcome to the nfl
Love your video and keep up the great work
Damn refs cant admit when they are clearly wrong on national tv.
Titans saints call was annoying
Revs can make mistakes just as any person, but they should really be held accountable more. We all are at our jobs, why aren't they?
I feel like the refs (or at least these ones) made the calls stand after the challenges out of spite or just pride.
From what I understand it's not the in-game refs that do reviews but some dude in New York.
In seasons past it was Al Riveron who got nearly every pass interference challenge wrong on purpose because he didn't like it being challengeable.
They're apparently going to Point of Emphasis that tackle play like what the Chiefs got away with.
"From one left guard to another, that's not holding..." as he's holding a hand full of fully disengaged player 😅😅😅
Bills punter
WHAT ARE YOU DOING 🤦♂️🤦♂️
the fact the punt return is even on this video just makes me not want to watch it cause even the ref said that block was clean went at his waste..............

Ron Torbert needs to be fired. He's been making the most horrendous calls in the NFL for years now
This
Tbh
A lot of these theyre not calling flags both ways. Thats fine to me. As long as play calling is consistent teams need to learn to adapt to that in game. Not every ref is gonna favor the offense. As it should be
All of this in Week 1 already. $9Billion industry somehow can’t afford to ensure competent officiating.
About time this video gets published. All the calls have had me baffled, especially the “tripping” call during the Jets’ kickoff return in OT
not a trip
Jets were still going to win that game lol
Can anyone remember Cleveland bottle gate?????? that was the worst!
Early movement and false starts by Taylor
The lions didn't mind the false start. Any time he lined up like that and he did that jump, the Lions knew if it was a pass of run
BlahBlanDino is really likable when he is lying thru his teeth, must be the suit.
Honestly, a penalty can be called on every play..especially after watching it in slow motion.
Brother you should make more of these, week 1 this season was awful with the refs
whats with announcers putting asterisks on teams winning
Money for clickbait
Does the NFL not care that Gene Steratore basically embarrasses them and their pathetic refs every single game?
First one wasnt a trip
These Saints vs Titans clips are hurting my brain.
Bet if they start fining refs for terrible/missed calls like they fine the players for things, refs would do a lot better.
The penalty calls against Philly were SO tickytack that entire game. It was ridiculous.
That Jets TD at the end, cost me a loss in 2 of my leagues, because they didn't call that tripping penalty.
let’s gooo the return of horrible calls
The non tripping call was a good no call. Nobody falls down like a 2x4 .
Saints vs Titans game had some of the worst calls and no calls ive ever seen.
Scripted.
its starting to be like baseball with the refs spoilin the game with bs calls!
refs for Tennessee vs jets game :"just let the boys play"😂
LFG I’ve been waiting for this.
Taylor not getting called all game was bullshit
The chiefs didn't get called for a penalty? who would have ever guessed?
they consistently didn't call that chiefs tackle all night till the last drive of the game lol
Holding 85 New England. Got under the shoulder part of the uniform and made a visible movement which was deemed to gain advantage. That's actually a good call -- you just see far worse gotten away with.
Bad call
@@matthewcahalin4428correct call.
Refs can call holding on any play. They can call pass interference on about any play. It sucks when they effect the outcome of a game with one of these calls.
How was every single referee and executive officiating the game remotely for that Derek Carr incomplete pass not immediately fired after the game? I understand that making decisions in the heat of the moment is difficult and referee should be given a wide lee way and benefit of the doubt... But when they see in slow motion that the call they made is wrong, and then purposely uphold the wrong call simply so they don't have to admit they're wrong, that needs to be an immediate punishment.
Personal Favorites: 7:54, 10:44.
They didn’t reverse the incomplete pass/fumble call to avoid being guilty of a quick whistle. I’ve seen this many times.
Pray for Arthur Smith, man is gonna have an aneurysm if his team keeps getting calls like that
vegas in the refs ear
Wow the refereeing in the TEN-NO game was so bad they ended up f***ing over BOTH teams.
Week 1 and we’ve already had so many bad calls…. This season is gonna be great!!!
First clip was not a leg whip. That is a man running full speed and diving to block.
These refs are from off the streets and are on a power trip
They have made so many no calls against the Lions it's criminal 😢
10 minutes was bad enough. But now 12? This has gotten out of hand.
Actually, it got out of hand a long time ago.
Is it just me, or does officiating get worse every year? Once Walt Coleman retired (mobbed up or just plain incompetent - hard to say which) retired, I thought the league could finally get on track. But they can't even get replays right any more.
Referees are not bad it's just the fact that they're not trained they do go to seminars for referee classes but they don't get fully trained by doing mock games in the offseason so then they know how to do calls properly in actual preseason and regular season NFL games.
Yo he back!!!!!
For those of you criticizing the officials, let's see YOU put on the hat & the stripes & do a superior job.
As a Vikings fan I’m literally shocked that the Chiefs can get away with pretty much anything because they have the refs in their back pocket
So with Jawan Jones, he's in the wrong formation, he's holding and jumping early and no flags for any of them????!!
The NFL is such a joke
Imagine if this was The MBL. Every time these absurdly bad refs called a bad call , thebpplayer would be ejected
The first one was a correct no call, that was not a leg whip or a tripping attempt. If you think it was, then you are worse than the refs in some of the other clips.
Not sure what the issue is with the low hit on Mac Jones. That was the correct call with how the rules are written. If Jones doesn’t do that little hop before contact, he is probably out for a minimum of a few weeks or season like Rodgers.
The Greenlaw coverage was legal, the feet clearly got tangled up which is not a foul.
Maybe these three fall under the controversial part? Because they were all the correct call. To me correct calls are not controversial. The player that cheap spotted Jakobi Meyer near the end of the Raiders game was controversial. Personally I think he needs to be kicked out of the league. We don’t need thugs like that out on the field.
I refuse to watch season games. The only game the NFL gonna find me watching is the Superbowl
Ending of the Superbowl last year convinced me the refs rig.
oh they sure do well put it like this they def have pre game favoritism NFL wise and in tight games like that they can do bad calls here and there
hell remember the NFC Chmpionship game the Saints played the Rams the no call for the most blatant pass interference ever that cheated the Saints out of a Superbowl game
You could argue the first clip he just fell down, commentators made a bigger deal about it than it was
I like the fact that Taylor has been doing that while he was in Jacksonville but no one cared for it. But it only now matters because he is on the Chiefs 😂
I am CONVINCED that the NFL has biases against certain team and game. Many games have questionable calls and no calls. Why does the NFL do this ?? This is one reason why I NEVER attend any NFL games.
1) perhaps the refs could have let the loose ball play out with the titans, but it looked clear enough on the field to call incomplete. 2) it was close, but his arm was clearly moving forward, so good call ultimately. 3) as a saints fan, I will NEVER accept ANY bitching about favorable calls to the saints. 4) also, that was absolutely not a PI against new orleans on that pick. 5) I guess the PI on Olave should have been called, but it was overthrown, and I've seen worse.
The panthers falcons punt sounds like it was correct? Why is it on here?
They NEED to get their rules straight with roughing the passer. Defensive players can not stop their momentum mid tackle, they cant help if they get tripped, and they shouldnt get a flag for even looking at the QB wrong. It is so unbelievably boring and stupid.
The no-call tripping flag in the Jets game absolutely did not matter. That compared to a routine cut block makes no difference and the play still results in a touchdown so I don’t understand how people think the refs blew the game on that one. I also noticed you left out the no-call illegal forward throw on Josh Allen when he was roughly 10 miles past the line of scrimmage, though…
Missed the pass interference no-call in the Bears-Packers game.
