The Eel Grass Is Aweful on Guntersville June 2024

The Lady Bass Anglers Association is on Lake Guntersville, Alabama for the final regular season stop of 2024! Guntersville is known for being a grass lake, but an invasive species, eel grass has invaded. The TVA is treating the eel grass with pesticides as well as "Mowing" and picking up! Where the eel grass is floating, it covers areas and makes them at times unfishable and a challenge to navigate. Clearing your trolling motor, engine and shallow water anchors is a constant thing. This video shows one of the three machines we observed in action.
