You really have to respect Paul McGann. Probably the shortest time possible as a true Doctor and yet he really made his mark and continues to get involved.

Paul's in the odd position of having held the role for the longest time, but has the least amount of time on-screen. He basically helped keep the franchise alive through the Big Finish audio stories whilst it wasn't on tv.

I would love to have Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy go on and do more seasons in the part of The Doctor. It's a such a bummer that they both got a bad wrap during their television tenures

Colin got some bad stories, but honestly, he also got some AMAZING ones. Several of his were really mindblowingly good.

I haven't listened to them myself (because money) but apparently the Big Finish stories for Six (which Colin voiced the Doctor for himself) fix a lot of the issues that were present for Colin's run. They actually gave him a proper just-before-regeneration scene in it as well, which you can find the clips of.
I can't confirm this myself, I'm only just barely starting Pertwee's run but I plan to watch it all if I can.
