Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

When my son was a baby I was encouraged to join a mom's group. But one day my husband, son and I went to lunch and sat at a table next to a mom's group. Apparently one of their group was missing and they not only trashed her, they trashed her infant son because he was behind in his development. I swore that day to NEVER join one of those groups.

People act like I'm crazy when I say if I was a man I would probably have considered having children, but I could never be a mom. Men get praised for doing the bare minimum to care for their children. It's like the standard is that if he's in their life at all that's already above and beyond. People see a dad at the grocery store with his own damn child and think "Aww, how sweet that he's taking care of the baby." yet they see the mom out without the baby and they're like "Omg, Where's your baby? Who's taking care of them? You must be an awful mother." We live in a society that treats men like they're still their own people after they have a kid but reduces women to nothing but a caretaker drone the second they find out they're pregnant. It's disgusting.

I’m in a family and church community where having babies is quite common. I’ve been around A LOT of babies, and seen a lot of babies that are minutes out of the womb, most newborns look terrifying for the first 12 to 24 hours, especially if it was a long labor. My sister pushed for nearly eight hours with her first baby, she cried when she saw him because he was so swollen and scary looking. We had to assure her he just needed some time to recover. Luckily he was much cuter by the next morning, and even cuter a few days later.

My brother and his wife had a baby within a month of my cousin and her husband. My niece really was a beautiful baby, and she's now a gorgeous 34 year old woman who's an actress. She looks a bit like Kelly Ripa.
My cousin also had a girl. Both babies were about 4 months old when they were at our family reunion. My niece Lindsey was fussed over and parents were told how beautiful she was, but my cousin's poor little crotch goblin caused people to react with gasps and "nice" words they struggled to come up with. Gawd, that was an ugly baby! I hope her face improved as she got older, but I've never seen her mother post her pic on Facebook, just her oldest son who is handsome.

@@LazyIRanch i just read your comment.. and that makes me so sad.. maybe your cousin is afraid she’ll get the same comments as she did when she was a baby.. if it was her first it could have been traumatic.. I know this is nowhere near close but when your dealing with hormones right after having a baby even the ‘small’ things are felt just as strong..
when I had my second son prematurely (30weeks) he had to stay in the NICU.. I’d go visit him as often as I could but I had another baby at home (failed depo shot theyre 8 months apart.. yea I know😅) .. during one of those visits the monitors they had on him started beeping and the nurse and doctor rushed in and I was gently moved away as a nurse tried to comfort me.. I don’t remember exactly what was happening.. I just remember thinking he wasn’t going to make it.. they got the machines to stop beeping and he was fine..he came home about a week after.. but since that day I felt different.. I didn’t want to hold him.. I didn’t want to go see him.. I went to see a psychiatrist and therapist and cried because I didn’t feel anything towards my baby.. I cried because I didn’t love my baby.. I was told that it was part of our defense mechanism.. its engraved in our dna from long ago.. it’s a way our minds protected
themselves since baby’s survival rates were really low in the past.. they were also raised by many.. I’m sure you’ve heard ‘it takes a village’.. maybe it triggered some defense for her.. because like you said.. the pretty baby got more attention than the one that wasn’t as cute.. so maybe in the past they didn’t receive as much help and made the mom protective? Triggering her protective nature in her might be the reason she doesnt post pictures of her? It’s just a thought..

Some parents take their lessons too far or try to teach lessons without the mistake present just what they think their kids are gonna do. It's better in this case of jeans or the non brand name clothes. Both instances were handled rather well really makes them think like damn I did kinda ask for that. But if you punished someone without the mistake then they are more likely to think it's okay because they didn't even do it and still got punished they become desensitized and their minds get dark. Rather understanding what you did wrong brings more of an understanding of yourself

When I see that the baby is ugly I simply say, "awe it's a baby". That way I didn't lie which in turn causes no guilt & make sleeping & living with one's self easier.

The isles were very narrow so one person could fit down the isle at a time. She was riding my ass to the point I thought we were in a relationship at that point. I got to the shorts part of the isle. I had picked what I thought were size 2x - 3x shorts. Turns out they were 5x, the person behind me reached over me and tried to snatch them out of my hands. I hadn't said a word to them at all. But then trying to snatch something out of my hands let alone reach over me to do so. I snapped at her and told them to back the fuck up. The stepped back and said I want those shorts. I said oh these shorts. I held up the shorts . She tried to reach for them again. I threw them in my basket along with the last 5 pairs of the size 5x. I also grabbed the size of shorts I needed as well. The lady was following me around for awhile. I met up with my aunt. So basically I bought 6 pairs of 5x shorts, To be petty to someone.

This particular teenager just made me and my mom our burrito bowls and she was super lovely. As were all of the staff. She flipped them all off and left screaming about how she wouldn’t be back. The teenager had to walk away and the manager tried deescalating the situation. After that woman left my mom went up to the counter and asked one of the other girls for the manager. My mom then asked to also speak to that one girl. My mom bragged then about her professionalism even though no one deserved to be spoken to like that and how we had fantastic service and she was just a bitch 😂 the whole staff thanked my mom and I for complimenting them because they get verbally abused so often. My mom then talked about how my own sister worked at McDonald’s in high school and later became the manager and had change thrown at her over people being entitled jerks. She made a habbit of saying aqful things first, usually what she believed waa true and then would immediately back track saying stuff like "haha kiding! You can hug me now'.

The momma with the story about someone gifting your child slim, turn it around and buy their child either a drum with multiple instruments in it, or an obnoxiously loud toy. 😂😂 they will never do that sh*t again.

Good morning! Just saw the first part of this story recently and it was super satisfying to hear the full story, especially told by Charlotte! Even though I've seen a lot of these stories on line, they're so much better when she tells them! Thanks for making my work days better Charlotte! 😊❤
