I love Simon using his real-world business experience to try to give advice here. And being ignored.
Simon wanted to gouge all the prices because he thinks every city is as expensive as NYC.

I can't believe I just watched something for an hour and fifteen minutes, that I used to get paid to do it for 8 hrs a day and I hated it đ but this was just delightful, and mildly traumatic. At least these customers dont yell at you for nothing and tell you their life story while blocking the line đ
Please play this again cause I have never screamed at my tv this much. I want to see yall expand the store and bring in more products and actual employees.

Been playing this game now for 2 weeks, and I love it. I was hoping I'll watch yall play and maybe learn a new trick or tip, but I was sitting here watching you play while I was playing screaming at the TV. "YOU'RE DOUNG IT WRONG!!" in my game I have everything organized. Making 5k a night. It's fun. I can't wait for the update.

My husband and I legitimately were not planning on watching the entire video but we ended up doing it because the NG crew is too funny and entertaining when it comes to managing a supermarket. You guys are the best!

I'm 30 min in so far... after retail for 10 + year SIMON has an idea of how to run a store. lol so far as I can tell.
Remember the Milk goes in the back. Sense a lot of people want milk, you put it in the back, so they have to walk past everything else. Also, I think the best part of this is the backseat casher.

How the hell do you guys make running a grocery store entertaining?
In my head, all four of the crew are in the store running the check out together, and customers can hear the struggling over the math, the debates about prices and the suggestions to deliberately short change them.

I started playing this after I saw this video and decided to buy the game myself.
Now, after nine hours in the game I return to suggest that the Dumpster do a Simon-only playthrough. I would love to see him run his own store and grow into management.
Edit: Alternative option. All of you do your own playthrough/competition to see who runs a store better.

Them acting as if the market price is the price at which they bought it or something.. surely you can just price slightly below market price and get way more customers? You'll still turn a profit on it.

After working retail for 11 years, I thought I did everything wrong in my first episode of this. Watching you guys makes me feel both good AND bad because while I actually had a well balanced store, You guys were WAAAY more entertaining. and like Russell Crow as Achilles said "That is why no one will remember *my* name". But i'm gonna keep trying, I'll get somewhere someday or unalive trying. PS I only said the Unalive thing so my comment didn't get immediately banned lol.
This vid made me try this game. I cannot believe how addicted I've become. As someone that typically plays RPGs, Survival games, and RTSs, I don't even understand why I find it so fun. But I really do!

Make this a kind of series, even if it is just a dumpster series. I want to see Simon, Dora, Neebs, and Appsro all going head to head at this. You all start at the exact same time, and whoever has the highest store level wins. Tie breakers are solved with a sudden death round. Whoever makes the most sales in 1 day wins.
Play for like 2 hours so you have enough time to get kinda far.
I would also honestly just kinda enjoy an ongoing series of this where you are keeping tabs of how everyone did each session. Revenue, profit, who paid the most bills, etc.
Neebs would definitely run out of dimes making 80 cent change as 50 cent and 3 dimes...not 50 cent then guarter then nickle.đ đđ
