The Delay Llama XTREME introduces new functionality and exciting features to our Delay Llama series, challenging preconceived notions of what an analog delay pedal can do. Featuring 3 x 3205 BBD chips and a thoughtful layout, the Delay Llama XTREME appeals to traditional delay users and sound explorers alike.
It comes equipped with 4 presets, 800ms of max. delay time, tap tempo w/ subdivisions, hold function, kill-dry, trails (buffered) OR true bypass modes, delay time expression pedal / CV input, remote tap tempo input and remote preset selection input. It also features 4 trail effects you can get lost in for hours on end!
These 4 XTREME modes are the result of us experimenting with the Delay Time and musically taming it to create inspiring trails effects.
Vibrato: sine-wave LFO modulation w/ controls for Depth and Speed
Tape-age: this mode emulates the slight and random pitch variations (warble) a physical “worn-down" tape would produce in vintage tape-echo machines, w/ control for frequency of deviation occurrences
Random: this mode randomly changes the ms value of the repeats over fixed time increments resulting in abrupt pitch and rhythmic changes
Pitch-shift: this mode will give you 5 distinct pitch-shifted intervals and 5 playback patterns the last of which is a 5-mode sequencer

At last a pedal demo I enjoy watching and listening, with real creative input. Doesn't really surprises me as I'm the happy user of 4 jam pedals. I may have to sell my delay llama supreme to get this one...
After the small Llama i "upgraded" to the Supreme a few years ago. There are many anolog delays on the market but - like i mentioned often before - there nothing that literally carries the vibe of past musical decades . The Llame sounds organic ,it lives.
Sounds phenomenal Jannis :-) The Random mode is crazy in such a cool way (esp. in Kill Dry mode!) and the Pitch Shift is wonderful - so many inspiring sounds & patterns in there! :-) Excellent job with this one!!

I love the evolution of this pedal Great that you can preset different rate/echoes Very cool functions I'm using an old AD9 and an EPH3(Lovepedal) to capture my tones Those with the Drybell Vibemachine and a Diaz Rangemaster clone make up my core tone This Llama is on my radar for sure Good stuff Best wishes for 2020 JAM pedals

Pre-ordered. Use Delay Llama and DL Supreme stacked quite a bit. Keeping both and adding this for the pitch shifting and sequencing patterns.

I love the Supreme and the Extreme, both make me sound like a much better guitarist. The only thing I wish for someday is that you make a version with a stereo out, with the split before the modulation so the pulses become a stereo swirl. …& maybe toggle-switchable to for the wet/dry config setups. I’d mod mine if i knew how, but i’d probably just burn my house down again.

If I were to buy one more Jam Pedals effect it'd probably be one of the delays or, if I mortgage my house, the Retrovibe (in Australia, it costs more than my Blues Junior did, lol - but I think in this case you get what you pay for).

I love the Pink Flow - but I wish you could reroute the modulation pre-dirt.
The only thing that holds me back from buying this, is that it has only 4 saveable presets, but hundreds of good settings. Is there any way of expanding the amount of presets? Even with an external Midi controller?
Thank you for your message. This is not a MIDI enabled pedal. It features the 4 user-saveable presets plus the manual mode which reads the at any given time hard-settings of potentiometers toggles etc!

If you flip a couple of internal dip switches the delay time expression pedal input becomes a CV input controller for the delay time. So for example synths with appropriately speced CV outputs can control the time remotely.
