Coyote briggs I think you guys are going to complicated with this. When your Computer or phone is getting hacked you don't say "someone is hacking my computer", you say "I'm getting hacked". I'm pretty sure she doesn't literally mean she can hack people's brains, that's a little outlandish even for the Overwatch universe, it just makes no sense on how you would do that without technology built into their brains without them knowing.

that would be meta. WE are the villians pitting these characters against each other for no forseeable reason. keep the world in a constant state of conflict, and Sombra is able to hack the code of the reality of Overwatch to find this out becuase it's all code inside our computers... that's deep.

Personally, I think Sombra found the God Program of God Programs which happens to be somehow in large control of Talon especially. Also, I have to agree with your analysis of Sombra and Katiya - it's not about leverage; it's about identifying people she knows are on the same page.
Then again I'm also of the opinion that both Jack (76) and Gabriel (Reaper) were set up and initially they were off to meet each other and talk things out. You know, bro-hug it out. But someone set it all up so the entire conversation would turn destructive, an attempt to wipe both of them out.

I think more chaotic neutral, since she doesn't really care about right or wrong as long as she furthers her own agenda. You could say she was lawful because she worked against Talon in the short, but let's say she had worked with former Overwatch members on a mission to save a VIP or something that might have information about Sombra's identity, she'd kill them in a heartbeat to stop them from spilling their secrets. So definitely chaotic.
she's more of an anti-hero, similar to Deadpool. chaotic neutral.
i dont even play overwatch but really enjoyed this vid. the lore of this onlime multiplayer game seems like it is better than most single player games.

Sombra's closing lines at the end of her short makes it clear that she doesn't want to free the world from the conspiracy, she wants to bump off the puppet masters and replace them on the top of the heap.

I mean, it wasn't all caps SCIENCE but there was a brief tidbit that said sombra's emps would more than likely kill somone in it's center. So that certainly doesn't mean "there wasn't any science".. it just wasn't very drawn out or fluffed up.

seeing as the jet is on his back, it has to assert quite some force to propel a 100-200 kg armor with a buff german inside of it to move it at that speed

Ok, so i love Overwatch. But can comeone tell me why Blizzard thought it was a good idea to make such an interesting story for a game and NOT but it in said game.
Because they still have plenty of time to put it it??? Overwatch is still technically in is early days, better to have this plot unfold naturally. Sombra is just the beginning.
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't eventually make an Overwatch MMO that follows the immediate after events once this plot is revealed to the Overwatch universe.

And, i would even call Overwatch shallow as well even though i still very much enjoy playing it. So, how do you think Overwatch gets away with it while others that have tried it has not?

Overwatch isn't shallow. The gameplay, while simple on the surface, is complex and multifaceted underneath. Overwatch gets away with having it's plot completely disconnected from it's gameplay because it's a really good game.

Interesting theory, but here's my counter-point: Blizzard has stated that in-game mechanics do not translate fully to the actual lore. It's likely that certain abilities, like Sombra's hack and Mercy's Resurrect are exaggerated in-game, while others are toned down (Tracer being able to blink only three times in a row, comes to mind). Balance and all that.

There are similarities, sure, but I'm just saying that what happens in-game needs to be taken with a massive grain of salt if you want to know more about the power balance and mechanics in lore.
It's probably better to look at the comics and cinematic shorts first. For example, Winston's gun is a monster in the Recall short, instantly frying Reaper. In-game its nickname is 'the tickle gun', and Reaper is a tank killer who destroys Winston in 4 shots.
Note how in Sombra's short, she never actually hacks a single person, despite having plenty of opportunities. Absence of evidence isn't proof of absence, but it's something to take into consideration. She may not actually be able to hack (organic) people in-lore. But if that inability translated over to the game, then nobody would ever play D.VA, Bastion, Zenyatta, Genji, or any other character with a prosthetic limb or power armor ever again.
