+Wengie Just to encourage you that avoiding it might not be a 'bad' thing. If something feels negative for you in your current season then it can be a healthy thing to cut it out for a while and maybe shift your focus. We all have different seasons, even mentally, and honoring those seasons and what we need/don't need during them is great self-care.

Yeah, I agree, women have a huge disadvantage when it comes to standards of beauty. From MY perspective, I see it is more socially acceptable for men to let themselves go and be over weight. While our society prefer petite, slender, flawless skin women. It's unfair, in the big picture. A women should be allowed to binge watch Netflix and eat potato chips without having to worry to about keeping up with the high standards of beauty!

I think that while social media is an extremely useful and fun tool to connect with people all over the world, it can also be incredibly toxic. The effects it has on each person varies and it's all about how you perceive things. It can be so easy to get wrapped up into it and spend hours stalking famous photographers and models on Instagram and then wish you were as talented or as good looking (both things that I've done lol). I agree with what you said about controlling yourself and not limiting yourself to only following a certain type of content creator (i.e, fitness blogger) and being able to see the bigger picture! Omg this kinda correlates to the whole Essena O'Neill controversy that is going on. I fully believe and agree with you, Weylie, when you say that it's not the fault of social media when we see ourselves as less than others. Its our own internal perceptions that are at fault and I believe that social media isn't the problem, it's own own mindset.

OMG weylie I agree with everything you've said. But can I just say... I feel the same way about saving animals. My heart aches for them. I went to Thailand and went to an elephant sanctuary and fell in love with them and I know you would too! There are so many animals that just need love! Ah
Yes, i feel the same!! But how about eating animal products? Did you know that animals suffer in the meat and dairy and egg industry? It's really bad. Watch earthlings it's free on youtube! It wAs really an eye opener for me((:
Yes I did know, there are many issues around this topic: eating animals, whales in aquariums, tigers that are drugged so that people can take photos with them, elephants injuring their back because of those massive metal seats so 3 people can sit on them for rides etc etc. there are so many unfortunate things they are put through. :(

Neetasha Zam Zam make sure to only go bareback riding on their neck! Do not go on those steel/metal chairs because they are tied to their back and the back of an elephant is their weakest! A lot of elephants get injured through those tourist attractions. Have fun!

This is why I love you coz you are being so real! And you are a great role model, I think everybody has their own insecurities, and sometimes it's hard to cheer up and be confident. Sometimes I feel like doing a makeup video but I see my bare face with acne, I ended up not doing it because I am worried and I am insecure about it, but after watching this I think it all comes down on doing what you like and enjoy + be positive and stay confident. I was never really insecure about my body when I was younger, but it changed as I got older. But I'm more insecure about my skin... I've struggled (and still struggling) with bad acne for all of my life. 😭 I'm still working on my confidence.. Hopefully one day I can feel comfortable in my own skin. +cathy x Something that helps me, which I've been telling many other girls as well, is to look in the mirror and tell yourself that you're beautiful. No matter how silly it sounds, give it a try. Find something you absolutely love about yourself and tell yourself that. Then find something else and continue on. Acne is something many people struggle with so just know you're not alone and that other girls feel the same way. Embrace what you have girl friend! I hope your confidence goes up soon! ♡
