    This separation in the mind is the true key to understanding nutrition. Understanding that it's two sets of values that need to be in check to meet both healthy as well as in balance energy wise is hard.
    It's much easier to look at things one dimensionally, but that won't get you further.

    Having always been a hardgainer and borderline underweight I only started easily gaining weight when I went low carb/carnivore-ish. Loading up protein and fat has helped me far more than anything.
