Hajj is performed once in a year in the month of Zilhaj. Right now they went to Saudia to perform Umra. Umra you can say is mini haj where some of the requisites of Haj are skipped. Umra is performed in Makkah where House of Allah, Khana e Kabba is situated and Muslim also visit Madina to offer prayers in the mosque called Masjid e Nabwi. In the premises of this Mosque is the place where our Holy Prophet PBUH grave is situated so this mosque have a special place in the hearts of Muslims.

*Sidhu Vlogs* "Hajj" means "Pilgrimage". This Hajj is performed in Mecca and can only be performed in the 12th month (Dhul Hijjah) of the Islamic Lunar calendar. The Hajj has a duration of 5 days and consists of various rituals.
As far as going to the city of Mecca, any person can go there at other times of the year but he/she cannot perform the Hajj and that is simply because there is an appointed time of performing it during the 12th month of the Islamic Year. Hope it clears your confusion :)

They r actually performing umrah the difference between hajj and umrah is that Hajj is performed over specific days during a designated Islamic month. However, Umrah can be performed at any time. Although they share common rites, Umrah can be performed in less than a few hours while Hajj is more time-consuming, and involves more rituals. N hajj is like compulsory on every Muslim (who can afford ) that’s y a lot Muslims go to hajj even those who can’t afford try their best to go to hajj. Hajj is done once in a year. The crown in Hajj is 100 time more then umrah bc Muslims around the world try their best to experience it once in a life time.

Hajj Har saal ke chand particular dinon mein perform kiya jata hai. Jab Bakra Eid bhi manae jati hai.
Aur Ummra Muslims ko jab bhi wo Makkah mein enter hotey hein to perform kerna hota hai. Ummra almost sara saal hota rehta hai. Ummrah ki offerings aik din ya us se bhi kam few hours mein complete ho jati hein. Aur jo bhi Muslim jab bhi jitni dafa bhi Makkah mein dakhil hota hai usse perform kerna hota hai.
Laikin Hajj sirf particular month mein 5 days ke andar perform kiya jata hai.
