I Always liked watching Him race but I liked His personality and Never give up attitude More than anything.Always admired the way He came back from those hard crashes that he had.Probably one of The Nicest Racers in Motocross.
He is amazing and his wife as well. Doug was fueled by his Wifes belief in him, I believe that to be truth in his riding and off the bike. Doug helped make the future of motocross and what four-strokes changed in the sport today.
Henry is the man. I still remember riding budds creek and jumping what felt like forever down henry hill only to look up at the power lines he clipped when he broke his back. I loved watching him race moto. Sx and supermoto.
One of the nicest guy and just a incredible rider.i remember seeing him race a few harescrambles in New England went past me like a freight train I remember his last race he showed up at southwick on a 2 smoker and him and dowdy doing a parade lap afterwards he came in a pick up truck and a bike.great memory

Very cool. I met him in 2014 at Met Life. Explained that I rode as well, but had a really bad accident in 1986, and never could get past it.
