Im watching in total amazement. I know its Doug Henry but the guy is paralysed from the waist down! and strapped to the bike! He can't afford to fall so his bravery and sheer confidence to ride so aggressively is outstanding. In saying that his years of top level racing clearly show with the smooth lines and clever race craft. I am in absolute awe.
Yup, knowing 80-90% of bike control is done below the waist, it is simply amazing how brave he is to go that fast !
He mentioned this frame/seat setup also wasnt ideal but it’s the only thing they could make up to use in the time they had before the race.

Budds was my home track, seeing Doug break his back(same spot I broke my ulna and radius) and his arms there was painful. He kept coming back and I see he is still faster than most of us.
We all have our journey and Doug’s is so inspirational which makes him much more than a legend in my view.
One of my all time favorite riders I was lucky enough to meet him at the pontiac silverdome and broome tioga just a true champion

What a Legend . When you think of the Dirt Bike disciplines he has been a Champion at, and knowing 80+% of controlling a bike is done below the waist, which he doesn't have any more.....simply fearless......hero !! 🔥🔥💯
