The supplement videos are really strict. I had two videos rejected recently. One was a fiber supplement. You can't say it helps with constipation. Amazon reviewers are also not consistent because two other videos on the carousel said the same thing I said (about constipation) and one video even showed the whole UPC label. In the second rejected video, I stated a product helped me with my joint pain, but it's not allowed. I checked videos from other similar products and they were allowed to discuss their joint pain. My guess is that when amazon makes changes to their rules, the rules don't apply to videos that were already accepted in the past.
I totally agree. The whole Amazon Influencer program isn't consistent and not having standard guidelines for being approved or for making videos can be frustrating. I have heard of people's videos getting rejected and then they submit them again and they get approved. How crazy is that!?!
Yes! So inconsistent! My video was rejected for no apparent reason, I re uploaded it and it got accepted 🙃 So I’m guessing the unspoken rule is don’t take no for an answer 😂

Can you describe why you don't want your video on the first on Carousel(you mentioned when you talking about art supplies)? Also what's the reason you don't put your review videos on your CZcams channel? Or do you have another channel just for reviews?

Great Video - Thank you Mercedes! But why do you reject products without any videos in the carousel? vs ones that already have them? Wouldn't you want to be the first video to post? Also do you have a video with the settings that you use when yiou upload your review videos? FPS? bit rate? 720p? or 480 x 270? I am obviously a newbie, thanks.

Really cool video!! Thanks for sharing the filming process. When it comes to purchases for reviews do you use a business credit card? I've also been trying to grow my Tiktok so that I can get accepted in the Amazon influencer program. Do you have any tips ?
Thank you so much! I don’t use a business credit card at the moment. I thought about it but haven’t made the jump. I have a video on how to build your social media following and I drop tips every now and then. I guess just posting as much as you can, consistently and niching way down to one specific category. That’s the best way to grow quickly.

Great video. What is the difference between the Amazon influencer and Amazon associates program?

but essentially the Amazon Influencer program gives you everything the associates program does plus it gives you a storefront and then ability to create content for products and get paid an onsite commission. The Amazon Associates program is more about getting product links and sharing those links with your following to earn a commission. You have to provide the traffic to your links to get paid.
Could we use canva to create thumbnails? Do they like this, because I love using canva.
Yes, of course you can! You just have to analyze your analytics to see if taking the time to make a thumbnail helps your commissions or not. If not, you shouldn't spend the time to do them.
Does it have to be exact product to do the review or can it be similar? Or what if it’s the same product but different model?
This is a tricky question. Typically it does have to be the same product. If it is an older model, I would suggest trying to find that exact model to tag and review the product. If the older model isn't available then I wouldn't do a review on it. Unless you are going to use the older model to compare against the newer model. That is just my take on it.

We started into the program about a week ago and the clicks and income have continued to climb. I checked the earnings today and it’s showing the 2nd highest clicks we’ve gotten but income is $0. We’ve been averaging around 150 clicks with $18 a day. But today is no income but tons of clicks. Is this normal?
Congrats for starting the program! Today the income hasn't been registering. I would give it some time and check back later. Everyone program wide is seeing $0. Stuff like this does happen from time to time.

I know you are not allowed to mention the exact price or whether or not it is on sale but does anyone know if it is ok to say something like "This product is really great at this price point" or "price range". Obviously, there are many kinds of products where you can buy a high-end or low-end version. People are going to be interested in how it stacks up to it's competition within that range of the price spectrum. Thanks.
That's tricky. I would advise to stay away from saying anything that has to talk about price or you risk your video being rejected. You could always just try and see if they reject you.
