CSX Rail Action on the Midland Subdivision (2000)

In the summer of 2000 we caught Q266 receiving blocks to head east from Oakley to Midland City Ohio on the Midland Subdivision. During this time, CSX used a block system to grant track authority. The blocks included Bannon, Cozzad, Windsor, and City 1 blocks as well as the Midland City Yard Limits. A couple additional trains were caught at the Kemper road crossing in Loveland along with Q266. The Midland is operated today by the Indiana & Ohio Railroad.
