GE built a total of 1137 C30-7's between 1976-1986.
Conrail purchased a total of 60 C30-7's, 6550-6609.
GE built a total of 599 C36-7's between 1978-1989.
China got the biggest order of 422 units.
Conrail purchased 25 C36-7's 6620-6644.

I always loved these Big GE units, and the C30-7A with 3,000 HP from 12 cylinders these units along with the two units in your video were the main power on Conrail's Old NYC's B&A tracks through Massachusetts for 15+ years grinding up the steep grades on the Berkshire Hills with those glorious GE's Chant "Barking" through the valleys & hills !!! 🔈🔉🔊 Great video Jack !! 👍

Kurt, That was Tom Burgess. I took pictures of him at Blacksville, and he was asking, "WHERES ME PICTURES" LOL. Every time I see him, he's blasting by. I did finally get them to him.
