Picked up the Forza just over a week ago now. Has lived unto my expectations in every way. Having covered just over 600 miles in my first week of ownership I can confirm that it does everything that I need it to do. It's comfortable on a run, has great carrying capacity for touring with the optional top box and underseat storage, getting around 87mpg and it will easily cruise at 70 mph plus. Biggest problem is keeping off of the thing cos I just want to keep riding it! Going in for its first service next week so trying not to put anymore mileage on it for the next few days!

@@gazzertrn Mine will easily cruise at the legal speed limit all day and speed doesn't seem to drop going up motorway gradients at all. In fact if you're minded to there is still plenty left after 70 mph. I find it really comfortable too I've had the bike for around 2 months and the mileage is up to 5500 which has included two trips from Cornwall to Snowdonia, and on to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, with no problems whatsoever. More fun on A roads though as it handles well and is fun in the twisties

@@gazzertrn i had an xmax 250 which was zippy. When i started commuting using the motorway i changed the variater weights £15 which reduced the acceleration slightly and permitted totally relaxed 70mph cruising, its like changing sprocket on motorcycle. I rode my 250 to spain and portugal several times. Downside 65-70mpg which think is poor

Nice review Mark and your test route is local to me. I have owned my Forza 300 for 3 years and all the updates Honda have made are what I would have asked them to. They are superb machines for everything from nipping into the city to steady motorway cruising with day long comfort. You can easily tour with much bigger bikes so long as you can accept 70-80mph on motorways. Quick electric screen is simply brilliant, economy excellent & reliability has been 100%. The engine feels unburstable.I cannot think of a more versatile powered 2 wheeler. And Crescent Honda are great people to buy from. I like the look of the X-Max 300 but once you’ve had an electric adjustable screen, there’s no going back!

Always ridden bikes, but when my last bike went in for its service, my local Honda dealer leant me the previous model and I came back with a large grin on my face lol. So when the 350 was launched, I decided to take the plunge on my first ever scooter after 34 years of riding. Great review, so looking forward to getting mine. Cheers. 👍🏼

Thank you and it’s nice to finally see a English speaking review of the Forza 350
I have owned a Forza 350 for three months now in Sydney Aus…
This is my 17 bike but first scooter my last bike being a Yamaha MT09SP
This has been the most enjoyable experience riding this scooter the weight is so low down and handling surprisingly good
The convenience of the under seat storage which I can fit two shark evo one 2 helmets medium size and gloves
The electric windscreen is a dream being able to adjust it on the fly
Seat is high and I’m 6 foot but I find it really comfortable especially compared to the seats on sports bikes
I love that there are 3 foot positions and I’ve never been so comfortable
Big power reduction compared to what I’m used to but the majority of my riding is in urban areas these days
Love the fit and finish and the famous Honda reliability
Would recommend this scooter in a heartbeat

Good review. Thanks. I've just come back from test riding the Forza 350. I rode there on my SH300i so had a back to back comparison of both. The SH is the better tight traffic bike... steers quicker and tighter and goes through smaller gaps, but in every other way I felt the Forza is a step up. The engine feels instantly more powerful, and smoother, and the adjustable screen, under seat storage, spacious footboard area, higher speed cruising ability, general modernity and aesthetics all work better for me. Very relaxing to ride. I'm getting one!

Good review! I bought a 2nd hand 2020 Forza 350 last year , it had 4800kms on it, the intention was checking off a bucket list adventure to ride the Mae Hong Son loop in Chiang Mai , Thailand. Traveling light it swallowed luggage for 2 for the 3 day / 2 night roadtrip under the seat
The tight uphill/downhill hairpins ,1864 of them , keep coming at you endlessly, i couldn't fault the 350s engine/transmission/ brakes.
Low down torque delivery , great gobs of it ,twist the throttle and dont worry about what gear your in , engine braking is ok until you go slow enough for it to disengage, a blip of the throttle will engage it again. The brakes are excellent, 30 minute hairpin descents ,never a hint of brake fade. The problem is staying off the damn thing as its so much fun.
Its now ran 14,000kms.The prices are still strong so im looking to sell it to buy a low kilo 2022 model. Very popular bike here now.

Hey Mark, I bought the Forza and got a really good trade in on the Guzzi. I have to say I´m very impressed.
Being used to lean motorbikes, it looks at first sight like a small boat with a large sofa on top, but I´m getting used to that.
Riding away from the dealer´s it was hard to believe how simple it was, I had some busy traffic to deal with before reaching the open road, but things fell into place very quickly. Then I was heading away from the coast, into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, at a steady 80kph, and I realised how comfortable I was. The screen is excellent, affording a similar level of comfort to my old BMW R100 RS, though I´m puzzled that the aperture in the nose directs air up behind the screen, rather diminishing it´s efficiency. No bother in sunny Spain, but less salubrious back in Yorkshire riding up Slipten Fell.
It also reminds me of the RS in the way it feels planted in corners, which is a vital requirement for me as the mountain roads are replete with hairpin bends, -- it corners better than the Guzzi, so that´s all good.
The power is adequate, and immediate, and since the fuel injection is lovely and smooth, riding on the throttle is a real joy.
Riding through the small town where I live, which clings to the mountainside in a series of levels, the low speed stability and manoeuvrability are excellent. Finding a level place to park is no simple matter, the centre stand, though very good, is awkward on slopes so I keep a couple of small rubber wedges, used for spacing bathroom tiles, tucked into the plastic, which are perfect for jamming the brake levers open, and I rely on the side stand.
There´s a kilometre of corrugated concrete road between me and civilisation, which persuaded me to soften the rear shocks right off, which hasn´t affected the handling on the tarmac, (though I´m not pushing things), but improved the rough stuff somewhat. The front forks are perfect on the highway, but harsh on bumps. Perhaps the smaller wheels than I´m used to have something to do with it, and changing the fork oil would appear to be a major undertaking. I´ve added foam grips, which reduce the vibes to my fingers when on the concrete, and are more suitable for my big blacksmith´s mitts.
I still have some readjusting to do, after a lifetime of motorcycles, but I think the Forza is an excellent vehicle, which will suit a wide variety of people -- it certainly suits me.

I must say, I think your reviews are very good, I am enjoying getting used to the switch from adventure type bikes to scooters (due to getting too old and weak to shift big heavy bikes around), and have bought a Forza 350 while Honda struggle to get enough ADV 350’s in. Then I might trade the Forza in as I find the suspension a bit too choppy 😕. Great bike though 👍.

Ive had the sh300 and the Forza 300, sh is far more comfortable to ride, better wheel size and doesn't go bang over every drain cover on the road, the Forza looks so much better and has massive storage and a good amount of equipment, the downside is the poor front suspension and creaky plastics, plus i found the Sh300 much faster off the lights and better on fuel economy

This is a great scooter especially with the electric screen, when it's too hot to ride my Street Twin motorbike I go for day trips on my Forza 350, there is no engine heat & I can carry a picnic for a lunch stop. One thing, the turning circle is brilliant. The only negative for me is the front suspension could be improved. I'm surprised on a 5,000-pound scooter I get a rev counter. On the Triumph, it's one clock with a rev counter somewhere in the menu, come on Triumph it's a motorbike.

I own the Honda Forza 300cc and its a great touring machine. Last week I completed the Scottish NC 500 on it and it went up the famous 'pass of the cattle' road no problem. Its comfortable and has a good range.
The negatives are; it will cruise no problem at 65/70 but max it out at 80mph and it becomes a very scary machine. It jumps over motorway cats eyes and wind buffering when overtaking HGV is anxiously noticeable. I have read the handling on the 350 has been improved over the 300.

Very good, down-to-earth review, thank you. I took one for a Test Ride (70 minutes' worth) earlier in the month, courtesy of Newcastle Motorcycles; my Silverwing had become too much for me to handle with regard to pushing it around and I became aware of the Forza 350. You've summed up my feelings about the bike exactly. My only very slight con is that the screen is just a centimetre short for me; I'm 6' tall and long in the body. I've already asked for a Givi screen to be fitted; that will sort that one out! The only serious downside is that I have to wait until October on the list at NM (who are being very nice to me). It'll be worth the wait, though.

And, if I'm picking fault, the petrol flap doesn't always open (common fault apparently) and buying tyres every 3500-4000 miles is a bit of a pain too.

Since we have the same height and weight, that made me went to pay for the deposit of the bike. Still waiting for official confirmation to be on the road here in Singapore. Thank you 🙏🏻😊😊😊
Chosen ADV 350 over Forza is because of looks and the more width seem much wider than the ADV 350. The only super bad part about ADV 350 in Singapore, is the price which is about 18.5k++USD excluding road tax and insurance(another few hundreds)
In Singapore, for every vehicle bought, we need to pay COE(Certificate of Entitlement) that cost as of now price is about 7.9k(motor bike price only) for us to own 10 years only. 😂
One of the most expensive mid size(below 400cc) scooters here in Singapore. But since I am abusing it for work purposes(average riding 10 hours a day, average 125miles/day) , should be ok😂😂😂

I had a PCX 3years ago and been riding a Forza 300 for the last year. Both scoots have been for riding with Deliveroo, so definitely a lot more time spent riding each of them than the average commuter. I'm 5'11" and the larger frame of the Forza is more comfortable for me. After extending time on the PCX, I felt more hunched and like I was making myself smaller just to ride it. For low speed town stuff the pcx is ok but the forza does that every bit as well, with less tress on the larger capacity engine. The larger engine of course means there is extra oomph for the occasions I feel like it. Also there's longer between service intervals... pcx 6k miles, forza 8k miles - for anyone doing less mileage this it means nothing, it should still get an annual service. I may upgrade to the 350 next year, we'll see.

The screen on the 300 has a few niggling points. I have a larger after market screen on now but some of the points I can make apply to both the standard and aftermarket.
I'm 5'11" and when I first got the bike I played around with the screen more than I do now. Just the luxury of having an electronically adjustable screen. For slow riding the screen down is fine until riding over cobbles or any bumpy surface, because the screen rattles when down but not when up. As for the height of the screen... I'm often just slightly hunched to keep my face in the protective bubble the screen provides. If the screen is just slightly too low, the wind in my face is worse than no screen at all because while the screen does give excellent comfort if you're in the bubble.. it also creates turbulent air around the bubble. Turbulent air in your face is worse than mere wind.
These things are why I got the larger aftermarket screen.

You can change the variator weights for little money to make it accelerate faster or cruise at lower revs. I did it on my xmax250 but slightly heavier weights in made the acceleration (slightly slower) but cruised very quietly at 70mph because i rode it to spain and back. The problem with twist and go for me is i cant help twisting it to max as the zooooom effect is intoxicating, it leaves cars behind easily and will tussle with some motorbikes up to 40-50 asno gear change or clutch release. Try one very underated transport and very exciting. Trouble is twisting all time = mpg 60😂
