Garlic Mozzarella Bread
Dough:
250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour/plain flour
5g (1-1/2 tsp) instant dry yeast
25g (2 tbsp) sugar
1/2 tsp salt
42g (3 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted
125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk
1 egg, whisked
Flour for kneading, if necessary
250g lactose-free fresh Mozzarella cheese (125g of each). We can use other cheese if it isn't available in your place.
Garlic butter:
2 tbsp softened butter
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp chopped scallions
1/2 tsp salt
A sharp blade or a regular knife.
Egg for brush the edge, if you are using.
Freshly cracked black pepper
Indonesian
Roti Bawang Putih Mozzarella
Adonan:
250 g (2 gelas) tepung serbaguna / tepung biasa
5g (1-1 / 2 sdt) ragi kering instan
25g (2 sdm) gula
1/2 sdt garam
42g (3 sdm) mentega tawar, dilelehkan
Susu hangat 125ml (1/2 gelas)
1 butir telur, dikocok
Tepung untuk diuleni, jika perlu
250 g keju Mozzarella segar bebas laktosa (masing-masing 125 g). Kami dapat menggunakan keju lain jika tidak tersedia di tempat Anda.
Bawang putih mentega:
2 sdm mentega lunak
1 sdt bawang putih cincang
2 sdm daun bawang cincang
1/2 sdt garam
Pisau tajam atau pisau biasa.
Telur untuk menyikat ujungnya, jika Anda menggunakan.
Lada hitam yang baru retak

250 g (2 Tassen) Weizenmehl
5 g (1-1 / 2 TL) Trockenhefe
25 g (2 EL) Zucker
1/2 TL Salz

2 EL weiche Butter
1 TL gehackter Knoblauch
2 EL gehackte Schalotten
1/2 TL Salz
Eine scharfe Klinge oder ein normales Messer.
Ei zum Bürsten der Kante, wenn Sie verwenden.
Frisch geknackter schwarzer Pfeffer

Pan de Mozzarella y Ajo
Masa:
250 g (2 tazas) de harina para todo uso / harina normal
5 g (1-1 / 2 cucharaditas) de levadura seca instantánea
25 g (2 cucharadas) de azúcar
1/2 cucharadita de sal
42 g (3 cucharadas) de mantequilla sin sal, derretida

1 huevo batido
Harina para amasar, si es necesario
250 g de queso mozzarella fresco sin lactosa (125 g de cada uno).

Pâte:

125 ml (1/2 tasse) de lait chaud

This is perfect. So easy and is a perfect now because I can't order pizza during the lockdown but I have all the ingredients to this bread. Yummy!

I made this with less sugar (20g, cud probably reduce more) n olive oil (I tried 1/4 of a cup) n wholemeal spelt flour n it was perfect. No butter. So if you after a slightly healthier version I would recommend those changes. But great recipe tho, comes out consistently fluffy n morish every time n my kids love it. Thanks 4 sharing.

Thought I should let you know that your simple yet super delicious recipe left a lasting impression and fond memories on a several dozen minds yesterday. See, I was searching CZcams looking for an easy to make bread recipe that wouldn’t take forever to complete or require fancy equipment, especially since I had 8 cute (8 to 10 year old helpers), 4 boys and 4 girls, at the local community center I volunteer at in between my travels every now and then in California. The yummy video cover picture got my attention first, and soon received the approval and all votes to go for cheese bread since it was a last minute idea for a summer camp team challenge. And with the cheers of my enthusiastic gang of eager little helpers all dressed up in adorable aprons with their hands scrubbed clean and their hair up...we took over the massive event kitchen at the center and started our project with gusto (prepared for it not to come out the way it looked in the video, but determined to do our best, enjoy making it...and looking forward to eating it anyway! :)
We each prepared a large loaf (double the amount so we could share with others), and carved our initials in the dough loaded with cheese. We proudly marched in onto the theater ready to empress all the parents waiting in anticipation with video cameras...aaaaand hoping for some possible bragging rights for coming up with a very original idea than all the other teams. And MAN, it was awesome to find that every single loaf looked as good as the video (and proudly can say it looked even better being made by little hands), and smelled and tasted like bread heaven and pride in hard work that came out perfect. The delicious smell had everyone ready in anticipation of our reveal...and bragging rights and first place prize was ALL ours as we proudly shared pieces of our yummy creation with our admiring audience!! :)
So, thanks for the deliciously yummy bread recipe...it was the most fun I’ve had with kids in quite sometime (since I volunteer with kids as my way of relaxing from the effects of my very stressful and demanding job), and will possibly be filed in my memory as the coolest activity I’ve ever been part of. Every single kid felt like a movie star with the widest grins on their happy faces and enough pride and confidence in themselves to make it a memorable event for each and every one of them for the rest of their lives. Thanks again! :)

I wanted to get into baking bread but all I had was garlic and cheese lol so this was just the perfect recipe! It was very easy to make and the dough was so easy to handle. It wasn't sticky at all, which is really my fav kind of dough because kneading a lot isn't fun for my arms. Hahaha. I used cheddar instead and added basil and thyme to the butter mix and also just a touch of salt, and it was AMAZING! The only thing I'd change is figure out a way for the flavors to seep in more inside the dough, if that makes sense, because I noticed the bread although soft doesn't have much taste, but still great! Thank you very much for sharing!
Thanks, Sofia! So glad you made it. I know why your bread doesn't have much taste. If you follow my recipe, the bread itself already have flavor plus the butter mixture between the crisscross pattern make it even better.
You use different cheese, herbs and less salt. Did you use garlic and scallions? These two ingredients make the bread so tasty. Please adjust as you prefer. Most welcome!

I just made this recipe, it came out really nice! In my opinion, though, the bread tasted a little bit too sweet, so the next time I'll try to make it without the sugar. In combination with the milk and butter in it, it made the bread taste a bit too 'cakey' for my liking. Besides from that, great recipe though!

Why is it that some do not put the "print" feature on their recipes!!! I actually did this recipe years back with dough in a can.... cut into cubes, and then dressed. I do like baking from scratch though....

So i did it. I baked it and if i knew there was a way to upload the pic of it, man it was just amazing. I have never tasted a bread that is as tasty as it turned out to be, given i don't even like eating bread so much. Thanks for the video.

Massa:

23 cm di diametro, come nel video.
O più piccolo per un pane più spesso.
Impasto di pane:
250 g (2 tazze) di farina semplice
5 g (1-1 / 2 cucchiaini) di lievito istantaneo
25 g (2 cucchiai) di zucchero
1/2 cucchiaino di sale
42 g (3 cucchiai) di burro non salato fuso.
125 ml (1/2 tazza) di latte caldo
1 uovo sbattuto (o yogurt naturale da 1/4 tazza) Farina, se necessario
250 g di mozzarella fresca senza lattosio (125 g cad.). Tagliare in piccoli pezzi. Possiamo usare un altro formaggio se non è disponibile sul sito.
Burro all'aglio:
2 cucchiai di burro ammorbidito
1 cucchiaino di aglio macinato
2 cucchiai di aglio tritato
1/2 cucchiaino di sale
Mescolare bene
Una lama affilata o un coltello normale.
Egg per spazzolare il bordo se lo usi.
Pepe nero appena spezzato.

I just tried this recipe! It tastes great. Instead of dry yeast I used fresh yeast though (was easier to find at my grocery store) and the bread was SUUUPER soft inside and crispy on the outside. Please do make sure you have a really sharp knife for the dough, was difficult to do with my regular knives.
