Oh, I think you misunderstood something, they did record Nightchild, in 2004 or 2005.
But it was apparently first released in 2007 on the "Sweden Rock Festival" compilation album, I suspect that was a live performance.
The studio version was added as a bonus track on the re-armed release of the "Attero Dominatus" album in 2010.
