    I bought these clubs in 2021. They still look brand new, and I absolutely love them!!! I really appreciate this review! I was thinking about it today because I couldn't remember what CZcamsr got me interested in the Radspeeds that year. It was you! I have the XB Driver, the 3 Wood, and the Irons! Your videos helped me decide, and I can't thank you enough for that! Such a fantastic value!

    Cobra makes the best game improvement irons for the masses imho. Anyone who trys these, f9's, or speedzones are usually blown away considering the performance you get for the price. I just updated after 2 years of playing the F9 to the radspeed irons. Gained some yards (lofts stronger) but spin/descent angles are perfect for getting the ball stopped on the green right away still. Shaft options are pretty good to but the kbs 90 pairs well with cobras latest releases. Been the stock shaft for the last 3 game improvement models. I fit a lot of people into the last 2 models and these will be even better from what I've seen personally and from others who have hit them. Incredible price point again with great shaft options. Good job on the video.

      For someone with one season of playing, do you think it’s worth me going for the radspeed or save $200 (Canadian) and go for the F9

    • @wccl
      @wccl Před 2 lety

      @@JV.. you should be able to find the F9 Speedbacks for less than $400 for a near mint/mint. Regardless the radspeed are stronger lofted 2/3° per club vs the F9. If distance is a priority then go with the radspeed. I like the F9 lofts which are more "traditional" compared to most game improvement irons now.
      The radspeed will launch just as high due to cobra keeping the c. o.g so low which is a huge help for people needing a higher ball flight. Looks matter to. The radspeeds badging does look a little busy to some from behind but they are more compact (better looking at address than the F9 imo) and have thinner soles. Remember they(rspeed) also have the carbon fiber strip in the 4thru7i on the top line so make sure it don't bother you. So it pretty much boils down to distance and looks honestly.

      Three years later and after my fitting I hit these irons the best and most consistent. Gained 15 yards on average also! Couldn't turn down the price on these bad boys even though they are older models.

  • @bradfordcotta5925
    @bradfordcotta5925 Před 3 lety +4

    My index is 4.1 and I ordered these clubs a week ago, so they are not just for "mid to high" handicappers. Getting older now and can use the forgiveness and extra distance. I tend to spin the heck out of my clubs so, during my fitting session, I was still getting 5900-6200 spin on the 7-iron with a 46 degree land angle, which is more than enough stopping power. I also picked up almost 10 yards compared to my current Cobra F9 Speedback irons with the same land angle and same spin, so that is a win for me. Can't wait to get the set (custom order for upgrade shafts and 2 degrees flat so it will take a few weeks at least).

    7 iron, 215 yds? Crazy distance/strong lofts. While the distance is nice, that leaves some bigger gaps between the shorter irons that may not be so nice. Then, need to hone your 1/2, 3/4 shots with the shorter irons, so can hit different distances in between the gaps.

After I had recieved my 5..6..7 iron I was informed by Cobra they are now out of stock unless getting a complete set. Cobra was so good to me that they gave me the Radspeed PW..9..8 and 4 at the same price as the Speedzones. $79 a piece😊. You're looking at it wrong. Wouldn't it be nice to hit a "4" iron 200 yards, but be able to have better accuracy and contact, with a higher ball flight so they stop better on greens? To me, that's what people aren't considering when they get upset at the loft jacking. I've made the transition from standard lofted sets to a more techy loft jacked set and score way better. Once you figure out your distances, it gets extremely easy to use. Instead of coming into greens with a 4 iron, I'm coming in with better trajectery now with my 7 iron.
