The Charpy V-Notch test is the welding industry’s most common method of measuring a weld’s toughness and involves multiple steps - from preparing a test plate to cutting and baking sample blanks, adding a notch to the specimen and more. Came here for the info, stuck around hoping you're a union company. Smart stuff either way. Tho I'd have added that your pendulum testing platform is standardized to "the highest scientific standard" assuming that it is the basic scientific standard and you're not cheating the system by making and operating a pendulum machine that leads to false conclusions of your own material jointings. That'd be weird. Lol.
