Hobart Internships Set the Foundation for Successful Careers
Through their internships at Hobart, three current employees learned the skills and gained the confidence to establish thriving careers at the company.
Matt Barr, marketing specialist - Commercial Segment; Brennan Mai, process engineer; and Lindsay Bundy, analytical lab services manager, all had the opportunity to experience different facets of operations while interning at Hobart. In addition to working in their own department and on their own projects, they also were able to collaborate with other groups to learn more about the business. The internships offered real-world knowledge that they could apply in the final semesters of college and in their current positions.

Came here for the info, stuck around hoping you're a union company. Smart stuff either way. Tho I'd have added that your pendulum testing platform is standardized to "the highest scientific standard" assuming that it is the basic scientific standard and you're not cheating the system by making and operating a pendulum machine that leads to false conclusions of your own material jointings. That'd be weird. Lol.

I have a tire shop here in Atlanta. I do bent rim repair and would like to start welding cracks in cast aluminum wheels. I would prefer MIG. Something that runs on 120 but I don't think that's strong enough for thick cast aluminum (spoke side ot the wheel). Can a MIG welder handle the task? If so what do you recommend on a budget for a beginner?
