So, I get the distinct impression you kinda like giving Chris the berries just to see what kind of reaction you can get out of him, you know like “ going to save the house”, it’s priceless. That lot appears to have an odd shape to it, not really pie shaped but trapezoidal looking, really hard to tell. I think it would an interesting build to play on the lot shape though. Thanks for the update, looking forward to seeing how it comes out.

Not a bad piece of property for a 2 acre lot. I agree that widening the driveway is a good idea, and taking out a lot of those trees is great, BUT I agree to leave some of the better looking heavier trees, and I Love the one that you like. look forward to more on this property and what it can turn into.

It Might Be Worth You While, 120 Year Old House In The SE Might Be Holding Some Great History!!
That house needs a total renovation, and it'll cost more than the house is worth. Tear it down, build a new house and maximise your profit , which I think is the plan.

As I mentioned the last time you showed this property, dropping those big trees to demolish that house will provided you with your most viewed video by far. It could get millions of views ($$$) and maybe more subscribers. Remember it was a viral video that boosted Chris channel.

A nice wide driveway entrance is necessary, especially during construction. The road isn't very wide to make a wide swing to get in or out.

What ever you do, I vote for a demolition video. Let Chris have at it and you can capture some great footage. Good idea to save the cedar for some of the new house closets or sauna. Does it have to be dried?

I had a house on 1 acre I had bought in my home state that was in worse shape than the house on that property. I fixed it up with the help of some family and that house is still standing after getting hit by hurricane Rita and them back to back hurricanes in Southwest Louisiana. The original part of the house was an built in the late 1800's or early 1900's to my knowledge. The studs were 2' centers. Before tearing it down, may I suggest getting a good carpenter to look at? I know the electric and the plumbing will must certainly have to be brought up to code.
I’m usually all for saving things. I spent a ton on the farmhouse that we live in. But this thing has nothing good left. Floors are horrible, roof is. Windows. All the electrical, plumbing etc. It’s ate up with termites and it’s too close to the road.
@@BealyGood that sounds like the house I had saved. All of the repairs were done without a permit. In your case you will licensed and bonded contractors to do the work. The back part of this house, I had, had everything from the floor joint to the rafters replaced. The rafters were 2x4's.. unfortunately I got screwed out 3k that I paid for the land with the house and all of the money I sent to repair it.
Sad will be the day when you call on someone else to do the clearing/excavator work because Chris is too busy. You two need each other and are a good match.

Thinning out trees, building ponds by directing water flow into a naturally low lying areas, installing culverts is all ways of IMPROVING hundreds of acres of property. Mr. Bealy and Chris have taken God's natural ecosystem and enhanced it in the work they do. Swampy areas are no longer, fish have new habitat, wildfowl now have places to thrive. You, sadly, have no idea who the true conservationists are.

Unlike the other people around here that are putting one house per acre. I have 10 lots on 90 acres. I I put my money where my mouth is.
