I remember being here for the release of the OG Heart of an Artist track. It holds many memories for me and HOAA:R holds many more. It's interesting to see the personal development follow the musical development, especially since this is such a cathartic project. It's been awesome to see how much you've grown and I'm very proud.

I remember being a 6th grader listening to the OG HOAA, now I'm graduated and I can relate to the album A LOT more than I did in 2018
Resurrection is a well deserved remake and I love it to death
I discovered IRIS just before COVID through Goliath's Throne and Heart of an Artist a little later on and I am glad that I found this absolute journey of a story, from watching Jaws of Dawn, The Transmissions, the entire lead up to DOTD and then the remakes of Heart of an Artist: Resurrection.
It's helped me through a lot, and I can't thank you enough for all the things you've done, how you've survived and pulled through all the shit you've gone through, you're a fuckin' hero to me.

This new album has helped me immensely lately with all the shit I’m dealing with mentally. Very glad Will decided to remake the classic. Thank you all so much everyone in the DACrew. Oh and As The Lights Go Out made me cry my ass off lol.
I was just a kid when the original HOAA came out. Now I'm 20, I've literally grown up with Will's work, and i cant wait to see what the future holds
Dealing with and escaping my parental abusers was my Iris back in the day and is still now even though there’s a story. I’m glad there’s a community that can come together and have an artist be the voice of thousands

Huge STARSET fan here. I remember watching this, and hearing you mention that bands have started releasing lore with their music. I paused the video and verbally said "Like STARSET!" AND THEN SECONDS LATER, you say their name. Awesome.
S.O.S, As The Lights Go Out, and Too Dangerous were the three songs that got me through a very tough time in high school and the pandemic, I remember listening to As The Lights Go Out for the first time and crying because I related so much ( I cried at the remake too, not ashamed to admit it), This album was incredible, amazing job. 💚
I've been following DAGames since 2016, when I became a fan of FNaF. My favorite FNaF song to date is Left Behind. Other songs like Moving Up In The World, Break My Mind, March Onward To The Nightmare are also amazing. But Heart Of An Artist is special to me. Not only is it my favorite DAGames song, but it's also my favorite song ever. Every time I listen to it, I get goosebumps because the song is so powerful. Keep up the amazing work, Will. You make us very happy! I wish you the best!!!🥰🥰🥰

Watching you grow through the years has been a good reminder that it's okay to stumble and sit down but to always get up and continue in the end. Thank you for every song, both original and not that you have mad in your career and will continue to make. It's wonderful to watch you grow!
I have always loved heart of an artist as an album, so one being able to see a resurrection of the album, and this kind of reflection hits home, especially since the album was something that helped me with so many rough spots in my life.
HOAA has always been my go-to comfort album and helped me get through college where I had teachers who were actively trying to fuck me over. Resurrection couldnt have come at a better time with 2023 being the worst time of my life, feeling cursed because those i hold close to me losing family members in a way too specific pattern to be a coincedence, the struggles of my father recovering from a stroke, my entire life situation crashing down on me without warning and worst of all...losing my dog, one of the few mental lifelines i could confine it, right before christmas time which later spiraled into my worst breakdown where I was just ready to just disappear forever. And hearing the full album during the live premire helped me escape that dark place, still in pain but willing to keep pushing forward, and I want to thank you for that Will.
Please never stop imporving as a musician and helping people through your music Will.

Full disclosure; Heart Of An Artist (the song) helped me out at a really turbulent time in my life. I was only in my second year of university doing a course on theatre and film, when I had an emotional breakdown. All of the stress from countless essays and projects I was working on, along with the worry of where I wanted to go in the industry, made me almost snap at the people that I cared about and very nearly caused me to take a year off just to do nothing; this was on top of my distant jackass of a dad basically getting money from me via my uni grants, and not having as much time on my plate to spend with my mum, who become my best friend since we moved to London.
And then I listened to that song; and what I got from it was the resolve to not let your own inner demons take control of what you do with your life. It told me to look at everything that I hated about myself and tell it to fuck off; to unshackle all of the despair and anger as to be the best version of myself.
And now, a good 5 years after listening to that song and the eventual album, I find myself as someone who is proud of the BA Honours degree in Theatre and Film hanging on the wall in the front room of my house. I find myself being able to express my thoughts and opinions without the fear of my own insecurities putting me down. I find myself with a stable job at the LEGO store for the last 2 years and making great friends and memories all the while. I find myself content with the man I am now, and the man I want to be in the future.
All of this to say, Heart Of An Artist is not simply my favourite song that Will has ever made, but quite possibly my favourite song of all time. I always make sure to listen to it at least once a day, and it helps to keep me motivated whenever I feel like I'm not good enough to be who I am.

Hey Will, I just want to say that you are one of my favortie artists and your music has always inspired/motivated me to keep going and be better than I am. Since I am only 20, Im still learning a lot but maybe someday I'll be the person that I want to be, so thank you. Also as the lights go out will always be my favorite song from you.

The original heart of an artist album will always have a special place in my heart, was going through a lot of stuff at the time and listening to the album gave me a sort of comfort, amazing album then and now with the remake, great job!
I can’t believe more people don’t pay as much attention to Kings and Queens, it’s one of my favorite HOAA songs. The resurrection one is mind-blowing, it’s full of so much energy and the guitar riff at the beginning was so unexpected and awesome
Last year i listened to Og Heart of an artist. It helped me alot during tough times. And at the end of the year i was in the best state i could be in. Thank you Will for this amazing album

You mention mixing as an improvement in the album. I think it sounds somewhat better than the original, but there are very harsh high frequencies and not enough low frequencies. I'm sorry it was a disappointment in those areas, but in all other areas I think it's a big improvement over the original.
