Ever since I found out about this I been trying desperately to get it. I've been increasing bond with him every opportunity and doing as many missions with him but up to now nothing. I'm currently bond level 4 with him towards the latter part of the last chapter 3 and hoping to see that exclamation mark by the questions again to trigger the flower and get it.
Up to what bond level do you have to fill for the flower to trigger? Is there perhaps a level 5 you have to reach or is bond level 4 the max?

@@DarkhowlGaming Just checked to see where that mission is and I don't think I've done it yet. Omi Incident seems to be a sub-section of Wildfire. I'm in the section just before that...The End of the Shogunate: Burgeoning Betrayal (just completed). It seems I just have 2-3 missions to reach Omi Incident. Do you think when I reach or complete Omi Incident I'll see the flower icon in his "Talk" to be able to romance him and get the accessory?
@@DarkhowlGaming UPDATE! I just finally got it and slot it in already. Saw the exclamation mark and hurried over to wherever he was and struck up a convo one time. Gave him a gift first just in case then hit the exclamation mark thing to continue talking. Next thing I know I see the flower indicating romance so went for it and git the precious cologne at last. So happy now. I been wanting that for so long. (Does the happy dance).

I have Ryoma maxed out and I’ve already beaten the game. When I go to Testament of the soul under Ryomas bond missions it says I need to increase my bond/ favor with him to get the relationship scenes. I’ve been hunting this accessory down for 2 days now but can’t get the item. Can anyone help me out?

Update I got the item. Even if you some how skip it, and is already in midnight mode just go back to Kyoto not (midnight mode) Kyoto and you’ll be able to romance him again to acquire it

I have a veiled vow with someone else. Do I have to discontinue that to get Ryoma’s?
Hello @scuppo! You don't need to discontinue the veiled vow with others if you want to veiled vow with Ryoma. But be warned, when you try to communicate with Ryoma or the other one after you have veiled vow them, they will trigger an awkward conversation where you get to choose to either continue the relationship or not. This happened to me thrice with Ine when I was veiled vow with her and Dayu in a single timeline. 😆
how do you get masterwork accessories are they obtained by just playing through midnight?
Yup, they only drop in Midnight difficulty.
Like what @Gurenn83 said, it also shows up when you finish the main campaign and switch to midnight mode. Almost anything you do in midnight will give you a chance in getting masterwork items while some story missions done in midnight will award you specific masterwork items. 😊
His bond level doesn't matter. You don't need to give him every item you have at early game.
You can romance him at late of the game where you see popup like relationship changes or something not bond level increased. I'm not playing on English but it have white human icon on it. You will see romance level on relationship page. Then give him many gift until pink gauge is full. Street you finish some mission or change town you will see popup like "Ryoma have something to talk with you at somewhere" or anything like this
Not sure when you can unlock to romance him. Maybe later mission on Kyoto before you go last EP.

@@jus300jp i had 2 in the mean time,one is from a camp amd one is from a boss rush,its random dude,but ryoma sakamoto drop it everytime if i remember corectly.
Been trying for for days want drop i've followed every thing people say different things mine at 4 im literally done with midnight and still cant get it literally show what mission your playing and what your saying cause its not making senses i gotta be gay to get it
Yes u gotta be gay lol n u don't have to do missions just give him gifts to increase the pink veild vow bar and once u max it out it will give u a pop up notification saying u n ryoma need to talk n u go visit him

You can change your character creation in the longhouse and I think you can change gender there, so if it bothers you to be gay for a few minutes(likely when you are heterosexual) there's a way to avoid that.
I decided to be gay for a few minutes and it didn't quite feel right, couldn't't really get the thoughts ryoma out of my head the past days and it has started to feel like there's butterflies in my belly. My voice has changed to a rather feminine one and pee has weirdly turned into a stream of fading rainbow color.
I beg you please take my advice, learn from my mistakes.

I believe you won't be able to unlock the Handpicked Cologne.

@@TheDanny513 Blame the ABC club for this kind of stuff. Devs have gotten lazy now for romance and there is no difference when playing as a male vs female character .I miss the days of having a completely different experience when playing as male or female(Mass Effect a good example). Now no matter what sex you are you get hit on by both sexes which is annoying and for most disgusting.

Hello @aleee2010, that happened with me as well. It wasn't until I reach Chapter 3, after the Omi Inn incident that I got a prompt where I can now romance him.

Go to another town. Not sure it is Kyoto or 2nd time Edo. You will see popup like "You and Ryoma have something to talk at somewhere" then go to where he is.
I had romances with him, 3 women and genzui

@@DarkhowlGaming Yep, Im not sure what happened but as I was playing along then traveled to the 3rd Chapter of Edo he suddenly became Romance able. Can't recall what made him available all of a sudden
