Look, Listen and Learn. Regardless of the situation at least they are getting the dog groomed, its important for the viewer to see how much pain a dog or cat will go through when they are groomed. We should not be so quick to judge, it could happen to us. Thanks for the informative videos you do.
my dog is like this no and it comes from honestly my financial instability so i wasn’t able to get it done consistently. he’s 4 and has been doing good awhile but recently he got banned every where for snapping at them my only choice now is sedation and i just can’t bring myself to do it let alone the prices people try to charge so i’m attempting to do it myself
“You don’t know what they’re going through” was a perfect statement! I’m actually having problems with my hands so grooming is very painful for me.
As a dog groomer I can definitely relate. An hour is not enough time for me. I let them know ahead of time that I won’t rush. And I definitely remind them that rushing is dangerous and stressful for everyone involved, especially the doggie.
You have helped so many dogs become mat free and taught many pet owners how to prevent mats from forming. Thanks for all you do!

I lost my brother and I did feed my dog but I stopped taking her to the park and brushing her cause I got so depressed but I see I neglected her so I’m getting her groomed soon

I have grooming experience and my poor 13 year cavalier is a mess right now and I'm so angry with myself for letting her get so bad. I finally bought new clippers and grooming her today. Good clippers are so expensive!! Wish me luck.
If you want your pet groomed correctly then you need to give the groomer enough time. Maybe 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. That way the groomer doesn't have to rush
Thank you for being compassionate. I’m a fairly new dog mom to a Schnoodle, Luna, and it’s been such a while since I’ve groomed her. I was so embarrassed by her condition that it further orooonged me taking her to a groomer so here we are. Thank you for this ❤

There you go. No need to berate the owner. Some are lazy. Some are busy. Some are not knowledgeable. Some have no help. Tons of different reasons. I will however acknowledge that it sucks that the animal has to pay the price for that.
That pressure feeling you feel in your heart from the client needing you to get done echoes into your voice and it sounds like you've had about 10 expresso this morning. LOL
Owner bring their dogs all Matted to the skin. And expect the groomer to be done in an hour. I say there’s no excuse for this poor little baby to get this bad. It had to take a long time for this poor dog to get like this. 💕👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Good job, your the best

I have my poodle mix groomed every 5 to 6 weeks and I brush him just about every day so he doesn't get matted. He's a rescue and an absolute doll. The 1st picture I saw, he looked like a mop (he was also very ill at the time, now he's living the life 😎😎😎), an honest to gosh mop. I think his foster groomed him initially. I tried grooming my previous poodle and nicked her so now I stick with the professional.

You know those clippers are hot for a shave like that . Be prepared to change clippers or stopping and oiling for them to cook off. The dog is the #1 priority
Shih tzus get so matted for no reason. My dog gets matted so bad! And my groomer judges my mom very harshly when she takes him. You can feel the judgement in the room
Keep us updated if he brings the dog back in a couple of months you are awesome with this baby
Please don't let your customers rush you. You Don't deserve that kind of disrespect.

Blows your mind that the owner couldn’t afford it? Maybe they had bigger responsibility’s than getting there dog a haircut 🤔 everyone has a different story but this is the reaction I fear from a groomer who I’m supposed to trust 😂
I always book the next grooming appointment 8 weeks out, when I pick my dogs up from the groomer. And I keep that entire morning open so their groomer has all the time she needs. It’s the easiest way to do it.

How do you do it so it does not cut them like that just being carful?
I groom my cockapoo and it took time for me and her to get used to what goes into a groom. She likes sitting alot but not hard to make stand up lol. I love grooming my dog. :)

i have a maltese, she gets groomed every three months but somehow this time i guess because the hair got very long she is a little matted in some places after only two months and its really upsetting me

What kind of dog is this
If you had time, would be possible to unmatted this dog instead of shaving him ? If so, how would you unmatt him ?
Adopted a family friends dog and his fur is in such bad shape. I’m a little embarrassed even tho he wasn’t in my care at the time. I’m so eager to get him shaved that I’m driving an hour out from my city so we don’t have to wait!!!
The owner has only had this little guy for a few days.

the lady is saying that we shouldn't judge bc we don't know what they are going through but i'm sorry don't they at least have a brush at home. Anything that wont make it look so matted. i understand they might not have the finance to take their dog to a groomer but at least brush it at home. Its just cruel leaving it like that.
The groomer is high-strung, not present at all and talks way too much.
So sad the owners let tis neglect go this far. Terrible for the dog's comfort and health. I doubt you will see that dos in 2 months. What is going on is they neglected this dog.
