  • See previous videos for more info on symptoms . I was doc prescribed benzos, never abused them to get high ever . Only used for anxiety, eventually they turned on me and I couldn't function without them.

    I was on Xanax for 13 years. I had to wean myself off of them and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. I was fortunate that my husband took over the household and bills because I had to leave my job of 10 years. The hell I went through is unimaginable. I would not wish the withdrawals on anyone. Not only that but the withdrawals lasted for so long. Now, 5 years later, I can say that the severe withdrawals have disappeared. My personality is so different now, it's crazy. All of the things you described in this video, I have went through as well. I am not some kind of diet pusher or anything but I can suggest something based on my own personal experience. Dropping refined carbs and sugar from my diet has helped TREMENDOUSLY! Like seriously, cannot stress enough how much of a difference it made in my recovery. Researched and sure enough a keto diet, or high fat low carb diet heals areas of the brain where GABA is located. Something like that, I'm not an expert, just know that it has worked amazingly for me. Still have a few issues but getting better day by day. Good luck, friend, I hope you get relief soon.

It provides a lot of comfort when I'm laying in bed, convincing myself that I'm dying and I can go back to one of your videos and see the progress you've made. All of us going through this are true warriors, fighting a war that very few will ever have to fight. Thanks for update and Good on you Buddie. Your doing good, and you look really well. ☺ You have got me through my nightmare..I'm 7 months in so still a very long way to go for me but, Just by listening to you gave me knowledge of what was happening to my body. ( I thought I had cancer ) My specialist has made me cold turkey off Diaz plus other meds.. I Do have a question if you see this post, I was taking morphine SR, Codeine, and Gabapentin plus the Diazepam for 20 yr pain control.
      Iv been taken off all except half my morphine dose and Gabapentin. Do you think my body will still heal. I'm only just beginning to find out all this horror. All that you describe, is the nerve pain etc... Iv been putting down to my accident injuries all this time.
      I'm managing 3 hours sleep a night, waking thinking iv slept 10 hours. I get horrid anxiety now creeping thru my body like waves.
      Diet has soooo much to do with how good or how bad we manage our symptoms. I absolutely do not eat anything now that does not come from the garden in its natural form It brings on the most horrific racing symptoms and anxiety, more than anxiety. Panic ! . The day before Christmas I had chicken coating on my chicken meat. 2nd time iv done that with such bad symptoms and burning skin, needle spikes, anxiety, I couldn't stop moving. And yet the pain was so bad I had to crawl.
      keep the Vids coming Sixslow, I do know there are people out there that you can help just like your helping me.

    Currently on a slow taper of diazepam. On 5mg currently. Still a living hell, however the most severe symptoms have been alleviated. Only thing that helps me get through it all are stimulants. I've been prescribed adderall xr 10mg, and it gives me the energy to work/study/exercise, the elevated mood to stave off depression, and the cognitive functioning to ward off intrusive thougts & anterograde amnesia(to an extent).
    Not sure if stims would work for any of you, but it differently does for me even though I suffer with an anxiety/panic disorder which lead to me to having benzos prescribed in the past.

I’m not sure, but my memory got really bad, I’m exhausted and just have no motivation to live my life. I want to come off of this medication, but I’m scared to death. Sometimes have much physical tension, feeling like my jaw is locked. Probably the 2 worst things are when my I feel like I have to keep moving my legs, feet and toes, sometimes fingers too. bumcheek7 hey I'm sorry you're going through this. I too have quit in the past, and had issues which make this time around seem like a walk in the park. Every time you start and stop taking benzodiazepines (particularly if you've had adverse symptoms in doing so) it gets harder and harder each time. This is due to the fact that they can and do alter your brain chemistry. Your body adapts and adjusts to these God forsaken chemicals after as little as a 7-9 day period in some cases. It is by no means easy, but absolutely possible to get out of the rabbit hole. Takes time. Time is literally the biggest obstacle yet the only real remedy to the damage benzodiazepines inflict on your brain/body.

      Had been several years on it (Clonazepam), starting at 1mg/day. By the time I got to 2016, I'd been up to 3mg but running short, I'd go to Mexico to get enough to carry through, eventually, by about June 2016 at roughly 6 ~ 8mg/day. I'd forget taking it and loose track. I'd forget a lot of things - for example my wife would tell me I'd fallen down the stairs, ending up near the front door. I guess I was trying to forget - things I couldn't bare - back surgery, heart surgery, opiates addiction, losing my job 2015, career, car, losing my family, including brother's suicide, and finally my last two cats in 2015 - all since 2001. I had also gotten, from Mexico, something called Nembutal for security. July 2016, in addition to psych meds, Clonazepam, I taken the N as well - later to found, unconscious, on the stairs. Had no recollection of how I got to the hospital, or why, nor could I tell them the date, place, my name etc. Was released in four days and decided to get off the C. I went through a rapid detox (30 days) bringing things up to date - 18 mo., still going through withdrawal symptoms - mainly depression, anxiety, depersonalization. Has been an abject nightmare but expect to see it through. Am trying to stay focused on the moment and starting to play music again. If I had only known . . .

      Mike L a combination of both. Quitting any amount of Valium is like a train wreck no way to avoid it. The morphine was easier coke was nothing but it caused a lot of damage. Valium steals your soul like cocaine. Used together and with alcohol is a death sentence. Taper for a long time get strong then just quit. The pain is a growth experience. You aren't going to die if you taper properly and be honest. So when you do reach the third day and you crash you need to just lie down and take it. Wait it out just ball up and deal. You won't die just lay down for a year. It's the only way. The low energy and fatigue are impossible. Just wait.

I still have my full prescription bottle from five years ago I keep it around to remind me of how strong I am it's like lifting weights. I look at them (10mg Valium 4mg dilaudid). sometimes I smell them or pour them into my hand. Ive thought about destroying them but I'm not sure why I don't I'm just a braggart I guess. It's part of my game I play to win. I don't use coffee I recently quit sugar and wheat. Full extract CBD oil cured my depression in two months I don't even need it anymore. Not sure what else to say but fuck yes it's doable. First you need aminos, probiotics and minerals. You need nutrition and alkaline water. You need exercise and stimulation. I use body building supplements it's plant protein and bone broth. I use the best trace mineral supplement and probiotic I can get. I set a goal to recover completely and it happened. I used these tools to do it. Protein, minerals, probiotics and alkaline water. Brain health starts in the gut and everything follows. Apple cider vinegar will help a lot too. @johnnycaper_ Před 4 lety

    I was on some nasty shit for two years, I abused them because I felt like fuck yeah finally I could get high and chill. Yeah, they kinda worked, but they also made me kinda dead. It was just that sense of damn, how long will it take for me to feel ok, how long should I take them. I experienced a lot of withdrawal symptoms during usage. I tried to use them as prescribed, but always tripped, missed dosages and basically just let it go and get high. My go to choice was Xanax, the high never lasted it just kinda placebo, sure you kinda "feel good", but overall it just makes you forget everything. I can't remember like 3 years of my life, that's fuck'd. Long story short, I've been sober for 1 year, I quit cold turkey after I overdosed a lot of Xanax. I felt like I was dying for two weeks lol, actually I've always had that experience from it. I was basically getting scripts, buying Xanax and using like 60 pills in 3 days and then withdrawing for next two weeks till I get next prescription. It's fuck'd. Now that I am sober I am kinda back to where I started, sure it sometimes gets scary, but to get your shit together from there takes a lot more courage than to pop some pills. It's hard to control all emotions, but it makes you who you are. I can say I don't need drugs anymore to get high. I am high now 24/7 to the point where I am tripping daily, it's just complete feeling of disconnection and not understanding what the fuck is going on. Sometimes I feel good and in that sense it's what life is all about. On pills it was all "good", but it's a lie.. I've been deep into art lately, been making music my whole life and actually being fuck'd up after quitting all these pills make your creative to insane levels, to the point where you grow and grow, looking for originality and stuff. When I was on pills I kinda felt that my creativity was being destroyed. Overall I would say fuck this shit, stay clean, but if you want to get high find a natural ways, because there are days when you wanna get on another level, but Benzes and all that shit is not the way. Remember being normal is just an illusion, be you, be who you are, be crazy, be free and be proud! And yeah, make art, it helps a lot to feel like you are doing something and making progress. If not art then find something to occupy yourself. Sometimes you have to push through that feeling of wtf I am doing this is pointless. Truth is that everything is pointless, but somehow we make it important, at least to ourselves. Idk what else to do lol, it's just my experience. I could go on and on, but the point is - drugs fuck you up to the point where you loose your mind and from there on we have achieved the ultimate high and I could say now we can get high on life, at least now I understand the meaning of it - you don't need drugs, you can trip from things around you. I think everyone should experience and reach that point in life, but hopefully without help of drugs. So yeah, peace out, stay strong and embrace your emotions because it only means you are alive and not a robot, zombie!

Your suffering is what will allow you to see the deepest truths of reality - a level of cosmic truth unattainable by those who have not suffered. This is the purpose of your life.
    May you be happy. May you be peaceful. May you be free from suffering. May you hold your sorrows with the great heart of compassion. May you be free.

      @scotte.3693 Před 6 lety

      Ya I hear ya. I'm pretty much the same. Even yesterday I felt about 90% in a window and today I feel really woozy and tired. The worst for me is the stress and anxiety. It's hard to handle. Is it still really stressful for you?

    • @scotte.3693
      @scotte.3693 Před 6 lety

      Me too. I started to have some windows mixed with bad days. I'm encouraged though because it's been a long time since I'd have windows where I felt pretty normal. Also, foods aren't affecting me as much as they did. I can have some sugar now and not have crazy akathesia.

    Kratom has helped me tremendously with opiate and alcohol PAWS and the anxiety of course. I'm definitely an advocate for it, and if it wasn't for Kratom I would still drink, even though I hate it. I appreciate your dedication, it's very inspiring. Thank you for sharing:)

      @ExploitMage Před 6 lety +1

      benzodiazepine withdrawal is kind of another story though. theres reports of certain people coming off antidepressants or benzodiazepines getting seizures hours after dosing Kratom, it might not be the right idea for these people. I have had some motivation to try it myself, i simply don't because i cold turkeyed valium & can't risk another seizure. It definitely helps with opiate related symptoms and alcohol based off what ive read though. Benzos aren't nothing to play around with though, a simple calmness supplement can honestly provoke a long list of symptoms in people who come off benzodiazepines

      N8 RVA Hi, i have been off 6 months, just beginning 7th. Everything Sixslow is experiencing is what im experiencing. It was a real eyeopener for me, i was also reduced off morphine sr at 50% so after ex
      eriencing horrific intestinal pain everywhere, and coming up with clear scans my friend suggested was it my withdrawing from morphine. ... but i didnt fit into those symptoms at all. I had horrific burning skin like lying in stinging nettles, stabbing internal pain, bladder and pelvic pain. My Dr had not once told me that this is normal. I thought i was dying. I put plans in place for dog n house. In my 5th month iv been hit with the most debilitating lethargy and anxiety. I nearly jumped out car other day, which iv never had anxiety like this. Iv been 5 months sleeping 2 hours a night on a good night. I take 50mgs of serequel now i can get 5 hours. My heart races, i swear its going to jump from my ribcage.... I get really bad nerve pain which i always put down to my low back injury, but now im beginning to realise its prob from the bnzos i was put on to help with the pain. I constantly feel like im walking in a fog. If i move from to my lounge to my bedroom its like im still sitting in my lounge. Im so frightened i may be like this for rest of my life because of being cold turkeyd off. Im so desperate. My Dr is a specialist for 500 kms sq where i live and hates pharmaceutical of most type.
      I was put on these meds in Australia, now live in nz. Any advice you can give me very much appreciated. thanks heaps

Somebody gave me a weed cookie they smuggled in here for the New Year and I slept like baby no Benzo works everytime . You should go to the Doctor and get a script for it then your Job should not have a problem because its then a medical need not recreation . I myself am thinking of taking a 3 week stint to Cambodia to get off this shit . I hate Zanex and the only other thing I have are seraquel and the side affects of that is worse . I need some fucking natural weed . Never a problem

      cher bear can I ask how long have you been on a benzo? Also what benzo and what mg do you take daily?
      I see that some people are on a benzo for 15-20-30 years and then they decide to taper off or stop ct. There must be a good reason and it seems to be either they're in tolerance, interdose withdrawal or the benzo is changing or has changed their brains for the worst. Otherwise why would those people stop after taking them for most of their lives.
