As a teacher, I agree with this guy. Some kids need a serious reality check and do need a bit of a comeback to teach them not to gob off.
And he's right, it's the parents, especially millennial parents. They think their role is to find excuses for their children acting like animals instead helping them be better (for their own good).
We had this obese, dirty kid who kept calling another girl "fat" - non stop! She ran out of the class crying multiple times. So one time I just said, "Are you really in a position to talk about other people's weight?" His mum then called me to complain, so when I said what he was calling other kids, she said, "Oh call an ambulance, then. They're too sensitive."
Bro wtf is wrong with you? Instead of trying to understand why this kid was lashing out (perhaps insecurity about her weight), you, as someone in power over her insulted her and put her down.
