  • I have never thought that I will end up making a video about doing laundry, but here we are.. Why is it special? Why is it hard? Exactly these were the questions in my head as well, when I started to face this challenge. They are not really doing your western style of wash your own clothes self-service type, but they are favoring the manned, ironed, burnt clothes resulting type.
If you are persistent enough, you can find the single place in Muscat, but maybe also in Oman, where you can do your laundry based on how much you can fit into the machine, not piece by piece and ruining your clothes.
    Here is the place: goo.gl/maps/psKWhbqxEikKSthC6
See you in the next one!

But these are just examples and we don't know what future holds for us, but I'd like to continue my video making passion and if you enjoy it as well, join the party then.

that is true, but i’m not a big fan of burning petrol in order to do my laundry or be able to do the essentials, however with temperatures reaching 50 degrees plus, it is the only way, I understand…

A whole day spent doing laundry... nice.
I am surprised that no one was on the streets or even at the mosque...at least there i was expecting some ppl.
I just realized that it seems deserted because no trees are anywhere.
Btw. how com you were not riding a bike there?

Such a good way to spend your day, right? Next time I'll try to capture a busier time on the streets, so if not trees but people can appear :) Regarding the bike, I would happy to do that, but the bikes I could get once:
      - they just literally fell apart after 2 rides (salty humid air is jut not good for them and no maintenance)
      - those were provided by the previous hotel, which turned out to be faaar worse than my previous one, so I got myself moved.
I was thinking about buying a bicycle though, but I could just get really crappy ones which would end up being a pile of rust after a couple of months. Sad, but it is what it is.

@@AkosRajtmar I 've never thought that this could bee a reason. In the american movies in California many people are riding a bike on the beach. So it seemed obvious. Of course if I start to use my brain a bit icould realise that California is much norther positioned on the globe.
Maybe you can buy a camel!!! :)
Anyway, it seems a nice adventure. Every week however would be very annoying.
If you don't have any further ideas for content you could show us traditonal markets, shisha places, camel races, night life on weekends, how youth (i mean young adults) having fun there. Are the cars also as extrvagant like in dubai or ppl are more rational /poor there? I know it's stereotipical, but now, when you live there you can show us the reality.

About the rust, it comes down to the materials the bike is made of, you can have good alloys which won’t rust away, but here most of the bikes are coming from india, so you can imagine…
By the way camels are far more expensive than luxury cars, so it won't be a good deal :)
And thank you for the ideas, I'll look innto them, however at the moment I just counted and have like 6 videos in the pipeline, that should be enough for a while ;)

Szia! Érdekes volt, de az a sok gyaloglás.....meg aztán olyan volt az egész, mintha kihalt volna teljesen a város. Kivéve az autókat.🙃
